Suggest a good sound magisk mod that still works in Nougat with latest magisk. - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

Hello fellow redmi note 3 users!
I am using Resurrection Remix Nougat on my Redmi note 3.
But I have only one problem. I have still have old magisk version installed because I use Dolby sound mod which is not compatible with the latest magisk version.
So is there any sound mod that works with nougat and latest magisk version? I have tried viper, but always drivers installation fails.
Your help will be greatly appreciated!

Iknow its a little late , maybe you have already solved your issue . Anyways I have tested version 6.5 Unity posted here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/6-0-11-0-magisk-dolby-digital-plus-upd-20200519.3868192/
Its working but, flash Audio Compability Patch on Magisk repos before flashing the zip file through Magisk.

Ccan't find Xposed Framework for MIUI 9.2.4 on Redmi Note 3 (Marshmallow 6.0)?

I recently updated my Redmi Note 3 to MIUI 9.2.4 based on Marshmallow. I managed to install SuperSU (SR3-SuperSU-v2.82-SR3-20170813133244) but I am unable to find correct Xposed framework. I tried Xposed-v87-sdk23-arm64-MIUI-edition-by-SolarWarez-20161126, but it causes bootloops.
Can anyone please help me find Xposed Framework for MIUI 9.2.4 on Redmi Note 3 (Marshmallow 6.0)?
Please help!
Thanks in advance.
Hey, you could try Magisk in your phone. After flashing it you will automatically get the app in drawer and after that get into downloads and search for xposed, there you will many different sdk versions, above all of them there is one without any versions. Flash it and reboot.
Hope that will work for you.:good::good:
Hello, Dont flash older miui8 versions. There is a latest zip from Solarwarez to work xposed on miui9 based on marshmellow. you can find in this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/news-official-xposed-nougat-7-0-7-1-t3685700
MIUI 9 based on Marshmallow by @SolarWarez:
System: xposed-v87.1-sdk23-arm64--MIUI9-edition-by-SolarWarez-20170612
Systemless (Magisk): xposed-v87.1-sdk23-Magisk-MIUI9-edition-by-SolarWarez-20170612_mod+us3r
Working in my rn3 without any bootloops

RN3P (Kate): Global Stable MIUI 9 + Magisk + Xposed (which version?)

I just upgraded my Redmi Note 3 Pro Special Edition (Kate) to Global Miui 9 (V9.2.3.0.MHRMIEK).
I was able to install Magisk 16 via TWRP flash.
I tried to install Xposed via the Material Design Xposed Installer by DVDAndroid, but it just gets stuck on boot (on the MI splashscreen).
What version of Xposed should be used? It's MIUI9, obviously 64bit for our phone, but still Marshmallow.
Thanks!

Official Xposed might not work with MIUI. You might have to use the modified version of Xposed developed by Solarwarez, specifically for MIUI. For marshmallow, the version is sdk23.

Ok, thanks for this!
I'm under the impression I should be installing Xposed using Magisk, is that right? Or should I just find the version using DVDAndroid's Xposed installer app?
Same here buddy
Failed to install exposed after this upgrade
It stops on the miui bootscreen for horus
Tried even different exposed versions like 87.1 87.2 nothing works.... I wonder why not this upgrade

Are you having problems flashing Magisk?
I used ZCX-Twrp, and had no problems flashing Magisk. If you're having problems, try to flash the Magisk uninstaller and try again.

Dolby Atmos for Lineage 15.1+ ( addon su )

Hi there
I am using Redmi Note 4 with Lineage 15.1 ( rooted using addonsu )
Dolby Atmos zips available on other XDA websites are functionable only with Magisk and Supersu. But recently Lineage has launched their own tools ( addonsu ) to root lineage roms. Now people will start using it. But Dolby atmos is not functionable with it.
So please someone give method to flash Dolby Atmos in lineage rom rooted with Addonsu...
Thank You.

SHORT ANSWER : Do not use AddonSU just yet. Keep up with Magisk.
LONG ONE : I'd still prefer Magisk over AddonSU. You see, Lineage creates true treble ROMs which are liable to have your boot partition contain recovery. (Near future thing ) MIDO has an extra partition called cust which can be modded to be used as vendor and make a de-facto treble compatible device. Honestly, I do not think preferring AddonSU would do you any good as Magisk already has a better community. Moreover, Lineage won't restrict you into using their tool any day. You are free to flash whatever you like.
