MIUI type multi-row notification icons on Custom ROM workaround? - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

The worst issue that I face in any non-MIUI based custom ROM is its notification icons hiding because of that big ugly notch...
Is there any mod or workaround to get MIUI type multi-row notification icons in custom rom like Havoc OS? ?
Don't say me to completely hide notch via settings -_-

[Q][LwW]Are custom toggles possible in MiniSandwich Lite AOSP?

I recently flashed that, and did not like the status bar toggles much, they're far too small. Can I use other switcher mods? Like Lasan's, for example?

Statusbar and notifications from stock android on MIUI – is it possible?

What bugs me the most in MIUI is their customized status bar and notifications. They are ugly, they don't work properly (I can't even expand notifications!), sometimes they are white on white and invisible... Is there any way (may be some custom software on top of MIUI) to bring default or close to default notifications to MIUI 8?

Google Pixel Look

Hi everyone.
I'm using the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X(Snapdragon) and I'm currently on the MIUi 9 Global 7.10.19 Beta.
The bootloader is unlocked but the phone is not rooted.
I really like how the new pixel phone's interface looks.
What's the most convenient way to get the same look (home screen+app drawer+settings+app icons+notification badges+status bar UI) on my phone?
Do i need to switch to a specific Custom ROM? Or can i achieve this with the Nova launcher Pro?
any advise would be highly appreciated
You cannot change status bar and settings with MIUI, only theme it. (change colors)
To achieve Pixel look you definitely need custom ROM.
For example LineageOS + Lawnchair launcher. ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ch.deletescape.lawnchair.plah )
There is also Pixel 2 launcher, but it doesn't support custom icon packs so idk if you will like it.

Click to collapse
Nova launcher can help you with home screen+app drawer+icons+notification badges (use latest beta its better ).
Settings and system status bar require some good theme . I have used miui hardly for 4 days so cannot say which theme would be better but there is a theme capable of getting you aosp status bar icons
For notification style and quick settings use material notification shade (just use your brain to get it work properly)
click here for an idea on how to do setups using differnt launchers .
click here for material notification shade thread and info about it .
I have added my nova backup you can use it for your setup . Just extract and restore as usual(See attachment)
Widget to use = ANOTHER WIDGET (Search on playstore )

Changing Notification Style on AOSP ROMs

I would like to ask if there is any way to change how heads up notification look in AOSP ROMs?
For example, in MIUI 9, there is a brand new design for heads up notification when user is in landscape mode, and it's small and compact. But on AOSP ROMs, the notification shade is so big that it'll actually block the view when I'm doing anything. So is there any magisk/root/play store apps to change it?

[MOD] How to change status bar icons

I would like to change the icons on my nougat almost AOSP android to match that of oreo or pie.
Also if anyone could suggest how to change the entire notification shade to to look like oreo or pie as well.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions
I was about to ask this myself. Resurrection Remix Oreo ROM has black and white icons in status bar. Any way to replace them with colored icons? I am open to editing the source code.
I have been able to change the bottom home/back/appswitch buttons to look more like the ones on the pixel by copying their icon files from the pixels system UI but I cannot seem to find a way to do the same for the top bar icons.
