Disappointed to see my new X50 pro only has widevine L3 certification.
In the marketing, they big up the HDR10+ certification but miss out that it will only be able to stream Netflix in 480p.
pls share a screenshot. everyone on the net is talking about Widevine L1 as long as the bootloader is not unlocked.

I think it's the recent update flashed from Realme India site. Hopefully future update will sort it.

My RMX2075 (EU version) supports L1. Maximum resolution ist fullHD. HDR seems not possible since Netflix does not yet support Realme phones.

Hi I have a RMX2071 11 A.20 (the Chinese version)
I have notice it has widevine L3. Is that normal ? I didn't check before the software update from A.18
I am on the first Realme phone, so want to clarify if bootloader unlocking will downgrade the Widevine from L1 to L3?

Along the way, OS updates broke it and I never got it back. Current I am on version RMX2075EU_11_C.18, but Widevine is still broken .
I've been searching regarding this lately and seems like Realme has serious issues getting their Widevine support working properly. It's not only an issue on X50 Pro, seems like many devices have this issue.

90% of realme user have this issue. I used to have widevine l1 on my x50 pro (RMX2071) but lost it after several updates and it's have been like this for month's. Realme doesn't care about the users they should change name to Dare to cheat

I've asked the question @ukhonor with no reply I asked if we would get the emui 9.0 beta that view 10 and honor 10 and play are starting to get now that the mate 20 Pro has been announced but can't get anything concrete from anyone, maybe we will just have to wait for final release, would also like for them to open up the bootloader request for device as well but doubt it will happen, like they did for a limited period for the honor play I applied but never herd back anything some say on the play thread they did get a email but I'm sceptical, as the 8x supports treble would be nice to get some custom roms evench but that seems a long shot without bootloader unlock devs won't bother, I think we have the right to request unlock seeing as we paid for the device and if we screw it up then its not covered via warranty anyway it clearly states this when you unlock bootloader! so I don't understand why huawei/honor would do this and make out its why they decided to stop it due to people bricking there phones well if they supplied firmware files and recovery firmware etc it wouldn't be an issues, take Samsung and odin as long as you have the stock firmware you can pretty much get out of any bad situation on your own, why xda don't do more to persuade them and stop any sponsorship , Rant over lol

Seems you confirmed both "USB debugging" and "OEM unlock" can be enabled.
If that's correct then note
1. To root your phone's Android TWRP recovery isn't needed at all. All you need is Magisk framework.
2. You compile TWRP matching your phone by yourself: How-to here.

Today the miui 12.5 update showed up and I'm concerned I will lose gapps support upon updating.
Anyone can explain if it's safe to update?

Hi mate, i'm K40 Pro user too. Gapps work normally on Xiaomi.eu 12.5 (21.4.29 Dev build). Not sure about China rom.

You probably already updated to EU if you have GApps. There's a Xiaomi.eu 12.5.3 stable available to update your device from them. It has Google Services running already. These notifications for updates don't overwrite existing apps BTW unless you choose one that specifically says "wipe data." Just don't wipe data you'll be fine. That's a standard update when it shows on the phone.
I'm pretty sure Giztop installs Xiaomi.eu before shipping anyway. You'd know because the factory ROM has tons of Chinese apps you'd never use. If no GetApps application exists, you're already on EU. Hope that this is helpful.

Do 12.5 have Dolby Atmos support for headphone? Did you test this?

Katam have tested a lot of OP phones. 6, 7, 8, 9 and Pro models work but not T models so 8T is not an option anymore.
Can someone try to install that app for me and tell me if it works to measure with it? I would be really happy too. I am not even able to install it on the 5T.
Does anyone have an idea why T models doesn´t work? Katam thinks that Oneplus did something with the gyro sensor that is different but they don´t know.

In Korea, Oppo and Vivo are countries that do not support volte.
xiaomi Most models are supported without volt patch.
vivo Certain older models were able to perform volt patch.
I used the iqoo 5 pro model, but I used the volte by proceeding with the volte patch without boot loader unlock.
Until last year, a model existed where you could use volte because figuring out the token code would help patch volte, but I can't try it now.
After all, it can be difficult to use volte with a Chinese phone in South Korea.
