+REP great kernel, awesome work.

This kernel seems very interesting, I must remember to check it out soon. Thanks for bringing something new dev!

is miui supported?

For a v1 it's really good with crdroid !
Hope u plan to add fkm support soon ?

please implement new sound control support, but all custom kernels tested (mipa, optimus drunk, twisted kernel...) have bug distorcing audio using my akg 414p, making my bottom pocophone at the headphones p2 output worse than my moto g5 plus in quality.

noice bruh.

Nice undead ?

The BEST!
Best kernel for poco f1! No lags, fps drops, nice charging speed and super OP battery life. I also love the LOGO! Thanks dev and testers!

Flashed and it looks quite promising.....

Great kernel, battery is amazing, thanks.

This is low SOT I think it could be much improved, I get 7 hrs SOT from 90% to 20% with stock non-rooted MIUI

SOT depends on a lot of things, including usage pattern/app, screen brightness, network conditions, gaming and most importantly battery health; all of these vary person to person, unit to unit. Before posting such things, get full information and back them up with a better reason.

I suppose with normal battery health with Youtube, internet browsing but no pubg or heavy games

I don't have the dolby atmos mod magisk running the latest Android 10 poco f1 build, and when I tested it, it didn't amplify my sound. the only module that came close to being good was jamesdsp, setting the output gain to + 15db, and this feature appeared 1 month ago. but it also distorts a little bit when you turn up the volume. the only good feature that the custom kernel has implemented and obtained with a kernel manager, because it can be better polished through the kernel, obtained from the headphone outputs without generating distortion, something that has not happened. or closer to pleasing me using the mipa kernel. soundcontrol by flar2. but for pocophone the settings of this developer greatly increase the distortion, when the volume the amplified. it seems that the serious bass setting is not good regulated and it bothers me a lot and makes me want to change the device. moto g5 plus much higher basic audio in the headphones when in volume and amplified, without distortion for example

Thanks for allowing me to use your kernel in my build

working on my version of halo app just waiting for PA to finalise their halo for kk:highfive:
Hello everybody,
I'd like to try it out but in my previous experience with kk I had some issues... For example the ram consumption was too much... I'm using utter and facebook for my business all the time so there's not any ram left and the phone becomes unusable... (I'm talking like 70 RAM remaining..) whereas on SJB I'm having all of those apps running and I still have 150 RAM left...
Is there any improvement in this particular rom?
Thanks in advance.

Im using it a whole day without experiencing any random reboots.
The Ram consumption is pretty amazing. I have an average of 150 to 180mb of free ram on idle.
even when facebook, messenger and google+ all open at once, its always fast.
technically this is the best and fastest rom ive ever tested on haida.
Camera works like a charm, tested all settings on both Picture and Video recording and got no problem.
And for Gaming, its sure fast and lag free at it has lots of free ram, tested Real Racing 2 and CSR Racing without any slowdowns.
Its like i have new phone on my Hand.

Daily driver for oneplus 2 [DISCUSSIONS]

To avoid messing up development threads with posts like "What is your current daily driver rom for oneplus 2? What's the most stable rom for oneplus 2? Which rom gives you best battery life on your oneplus 2? etc..." I create this thread so you guys can talk about your current daily driver rom for this phone. Why you choose it? What is your experience with it? How is battery life, stability, etc..
Let constructive discussions begin!
My daily driver: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69267890&postcount=968
The smoothest and fastest rom I've ever used on my phone so far! It's quite stable as well. And it's Nougat! I love halogenOs 7 !:good:
Why do you reserve an post in an discussion thread? lol
at the moment I use DU with Bensschold's kernel. Imo, its performance is lower than slim6 and it has some freezes/crashes. I'm not planning on changing until xposed gets released for nougat. I recommend slim6 rom with boeffla or bensschold's kernel. Excelent performance, even with viper4android and screen off. (I get a lot of stutters on DU)
CM14 by @Seraph08 and Benschhold kernel give me best SOT and battery. ( stock kernel too)

Best performance by really good battery life
No tweaks
All sync on

H2OS (009) is my daily driver. Rock solid, a lot of little tweaks and options that are rock stable af well.
Although, it did take over 2 weeks to get used to the bottom swipe notification bar.....

I'm using it on LineageOS 14.1, it should work on every ROM that's based on the Lineage source code.
Glad that you liked my stock kernel, feedback is always good to receive! (especially if it's positive )
I forgot to say that this kernel runs by default at 1,4GHz guaranteeing better smoothness than you get while on 2,4GHz with the stock lineage kernel, this means less heating -> less thermal throttling -> buttery smooth.
You can obviously ramp up the CPU clock even with the simplest kernel app if you don't like this setting, but you'll see little to no performance gain since my kernel is well optimized, we're obviously talking about simple gaming and normal usage, it's pretty obvious that with heavy gaming you'll get better fps with higher CPU clocks.
Thanks for the new kernel.
What's up with GPU Extra libs? Do you recommend us to flash it? I don't play games by the way.

That's great to hear, the charge was a bit slow in your case, mine takes max 1 hour to fully charge...I'll look into it.
Great work, but UberTC 8 is new and probably have many bugs, i would start with very stable version 4.9.3, then 5.3 and then 6.0 eventually.
Its old changelog here but it gives general idea about versions.

[WELCOME TO THE ICE COLD SIDE]
Arctic aims to bring a no compromises experience to our Oneplus2!
Meaning Great battery with good performance!
• The Goal? •
With Arctic i tried to bring the 2 most important thing for me in a phone together. Those are speed but more importantly battery life.
I have tweaked the kernel to my personal needs. This includes social media like snapchat, discord, telegram, and so on but also streaming like youtube, twitch or netflix. For me the phone barley ever got above 50°C in my findings.
If you want a kernel to play games with then you should go for NGK by pierre, my kernel is very focused on optimizing the hardware and trying to use as little battery as possible, and that will show when you play games.
Also wanted to note this was not possible without the help of pierre and mukul big thanks to them!
• Pie/oreo •
[Those versions are now unified]
AOSP (same as LOS for now)]
LOS
Just simply flash it over your current rom. You can wipe cache if you want to be extar clean!

NGK is primarly focused on performance, arctic will be focusing on battery but keep fluent performance hope this helped!

i will also hope you enjoy the kernel!
battery is pretty good.. charging speed needs a bit of improvement.. rest kernel seems quite smooth and pretty stable.. thankuu dev
I am impressed. I am using this on firehound os right now and it is running as smoothly as i could have hoped, and my battery life is excellent. Charging speed seems a hair slow but nothing too bad. My only complaint is that, in "about phone" in settings, the kernel version is listed as "unknown" and all things considered, that is a complaint that is beyond trivial, so well done sir. This is an excellent kernel, and thank you for your hard work on it

Here ya go! Like i said it us a trivial issue, i wouldn't have even noticed were it not that i check my "about phone" immediately upon installing a new kernel to verify that it worked

Any stable pie ROMs?

Just tried arrow and it kept rebooting+ auto brightness was out of whack. Had to restore and didn't get a chance to know other bugs.
Any stable out there?

Auto brightness is issue on pie. But rebooting not on arrow.
I never used auto brightness, so don't know, but I've tried basically all of them and no rebooting or crashing problems, they are pretty stable - but really bad on battery.
Yeah, unfortunately there is a rebooting issue. Plenty of comments in the thread too.

which ROM? rebooting issue usually means user error (the user did something wrong during the installation)
after trying all pie roms without rebooting issue I'd like to see an example for this case

Try Hovoc 2.0 29th October build and trust me it's best rom till now... With stock kernel i m getting about 4 and half Hr of SOT nd while playing pubg continuously it comes to 3 nd half hr of SOT (100% to 05% charge). And just one or two bugs i have found bt it's nt a big deal broker .

Is your standby drain as good as on mm or nougat?
Or is it as bad as oreo?
Anything else one should be aware of?

Standby drain is average as of 5% drian in 7-8hrs. And nothing much to aware of. Overall it's amezing comparison to mm or nougat or oreo. In terms of backup it will obviously improve in next update. Still it gives as an average of 4plus hr of SoT
Does any pie rom have support for exfat or f2fs sdcard?

Well I did yesterday I found only one really annoying bug: sim detection error randomly appear during reboot - other reboot is not a fix, it found my sim after rebooting without it, insert it after the rom started and try switch on and off airplane mode.
But everything else is forking fine, charging speed is great with stock kernel so no need of a third party one.

Thanks man.
I mostly use my device over bluetooth paired with speaker system in my pocket so idle drain is crucial right now.

The idle power usage is excellent, I would say the best, but my device is 2 years old can't really say about the sot, it feels a bit of power hungry to me. Maybe because of the animations.
Device: Redmi Note 3 3gb Kenzo.
HavocOS 29/11/28 build is great, 5hrs SOT, no crucial bugs here. For sure usable as daily driver.

i dont think there is an issue with that. The slider moves in real time, it's different from oreo, it works on latest havoc.
Im using Havoc OS latest build since the release day as main rom and it's doing really good, battery-wise too, gaming wise aswell, better than most oreo roms.
Best roms for me are Liquid Remix and Havoc. Both has almost same features, but brightness on Havoc is more precise. Maybe on new update Liquid adjust it. Battery is better than oreo on both, but I did some changes on stock kernel. I set up big cluster to Max freq = 1305 and Min freq = 883. Little cluster to Max freq = 1401 and Min freq = 691, changed governor to ondemand and Max gpu freq to 550. I've disabled ZRAM too. Everything works very nice, no lags, no random reboots and 7-8h of SOT.
