And cloud sync on your favourite Custom ROM .

Who wants to try custom ROM but stucked due to MIUI services and apps not available for ROMs.

FYI i can use backups of titanium back and forth on both Custom Rom, MIUI8 and MIUI9 flawlessly lol
It crashes for me in a Redmi Note 4 (mido) running an unofficial RR rom.

No, without mi cloud infrustruchion.
But you could sync contact with Xiaomi's carddav feature.

I flash and work perfect.
But
I return for MIUI.EU 8.11.15 because i have a great problem. After flash MIUI.EU based ROM, when i return for MIUI Global based ROM i dont can charge region. Only China is avalaibre in options.
And with this, i dont can active facial unlock. Only work in Índia, Indonésia, Hong Kong, etc.
I try various ways. I return para OREO, I flash old version Global Beta, I retired MIUI account from device and nothing fix this.
Now, i only can use MIUI.EU based rom because dont need charge the region for facial unlock work.
Someone can help me?
You can flash new EU rom againt. You can't change region in Global rom.
Now i can fix! One friend send me a zip called region fix. Now i can change region in Global again.
How can I install this update from twrp?

Hi guys, yesterday I flashed Viper Os and then RR during the setup I accidentally encrypted my phone When I decrypted it there was no fingerprint and Face unlock
I have made sure that it is not encrypted now
And then I have flashed MIUI 10 and the fingerprint is working But I want to use custom rom

Sorry, I had lost my account's password so I had to create a new one. I'm Undead6687.
I have tried it It doesn't work.
And also I have flashed latest MiUi and the Fingerprint works fine.
The Fingerprint works on MiUi but not works on any Custom ROMs.
I have flashed different treble and non-treble recoveries. And I have also tried Viper Os and RR 7.0 with latest gapps.
I was using Viper Os and Fingerprint worked fine until I encrypted my phone; Which is now decrypted.
pls help i'm facing the same problem using pixel experience pie
I even tried flashing the goodix lag file which i found on the roms and kernals page

I'm using Redmi 5 (rosy) and i have found the solution
U have to update your firmware for Redmi 5 i found this after a lot of struggle

It worked I flashed RR 8.1 then flashed Viper OS 9. 0 and my fp just worked just like that.... Hope this helps everyone:laugh:

installed on redmi k30 4g with unlocked bootloader it is localized with google services working as expected and normal battery life

china rom is bloated , and no google apps , therefore the answer is simple eu rom
Stable rom has some bug, unable to boot, phone automatically boot in mi recovery,
Then again try with developer rom and successfully boot xiaomi.eu
So I installed on my China variant Redmi K30 & I can confirm all function works like it should. Just waiting for the BL unlock was a pain lol. Oh yes, just the call video wallpaper doesn't work for now maybe it's just a software bug idk but other than that it's perfect! The benchmark score also a bit higher than CN Miui ??
Edit :
And I also got a way to make magisk work on this rom. You just gotta pull the boot.img & patch it using magisk manager app & install the patched img using fastboot. Works flawlessly as for now ?

You can manually download actual version of your version, put it into the folder downloaded_rom and flash it with the inbuilt updater ?
Actual version should be the 11.0.4.0, as far as I remember...

The "EU" version of the OFFICIAL ROM does NOT have call recording! And that is the version that was mentioned in the starting post!!!
The "XIAOMI EU ROM" has call recording, but that is an OTHER FIRMWARE! It's not an official firmware, it's a custom ROM!

Yeah, I only thought that should be clarified before the thread starter only updating cause he thinks he will have call recording then.
As far as I understood from starting post, he wrote about the official global and EU versions... ?

No recording in EU ROM. I have installed true phone app and I have call recording if I open the speaker during call, other solution bootloader unlock and flash EU rom. I did the first all stock all working fine, no need for root.

To have no misunderstanding, the other way would be to unlock bootloader and flash the XIAOMI.EU ROM, not the official "EU ROM". Cause as already written, official doesn't support call recording.
Xiaomi.eu is custom ROM.
