Google Play doesn´t work - Xiaomi Mi Pad Questions & Answers

I bought mipad 4 last December. It works properly till February that google play doesn´t work properly. When i try to doenload an app , i got the error"download pending" or similar.
i tried to clean cache, data,.... but no way. I installed apps throug BlackMarket. At last i reinstalled the rom, an new one, xiaomi.eu but the result is the same. I tried with other account but nothing. my google accounts work properly in other smartpahone.
What can be the problem? Is there a method to look at the logs or the log registry of the tablet? what can be the solution? I prefer play store to black market.

It seems to be a problem witrh kind of network. If the network that I use is WIFI ober FTTH it works, but if i share my mobile data connection from my mobile it doesn´t work. i sue the same google account in my tablet and in my smartphone. the speed is more or less the same and it ´s enabled to download app using any kind of network.
is there a restriction in mipad for using this kind of connection in mi App Store?

Can't download/update apps from Google Play via wifi

I've just flashed the stock rom on my gs2 and now i can't update or install new apps. i was using litening rom before and for a week or so i couldn't managed to update some of my apps, so i flashed from sammobile and the phone's working. But when it comes to updates or installs from google account, they doesn't work.
I've tried all the advices i could find but none of them work including wipe, factory reset, clearing data and cache.
If someone knows what's the problem, please post. I'll be deeply grateful.
Just noticed that i can't do that only via wifi. so it's an isp problem or something else?

Did you manage to fix your problem? I had similar problem. I could only download from the Google Play Store using wi-fi.
I managed to fix it after I deleted my APN proxy and port settings.
Then I could download from Google Play Store using my phone carrier's network. Strangely, I found that after I re-inputted the APN proxy and port settings, it still worked!

try deleting ur google a/c, then reboot ur phone and connect to play store after configuring it with ur google a/c and see

I got the same problem...
After i've done a factory reset to my phone (btw, it's HTC Desire C)
I am unable to update/download new apps from the Play Store over WiFi.
Actually, i was able to install Dolphin Browser via the Site, but after i tried to install Go Backup the same way, i was unable to download it.
I switched to 3G/H and it's was ok, it started to download it without any problem...
This is strange, i have this problem 2 days now.
Also, i did a factory reset to my router in case it was blocking my phone or something, but thats not the issue as i was thinking.
Thats STRANGE!
Any ideas?

I have updates for:
GMail, YouTube, FB Messanger, Google+, Go SMS Pro, SoundHound and some other ones...
I managed to update almost everything exept the Google's and Top Developer Apps...

Downloading not done over Wi-Fi
Hi everyone..
I am using my first android phone Galaxy S II from past 10 months. Model no. is GT I9100.
Now one problem come up from yesterday that when i connect my phone to my Wi-fi at home, i can open internet, youtube and the google play store.
But when i try downloading something from the play store, it just shows be the downloading bar but does not download. Now if i do the same with my mobile internet, the app downloads perfectly well. However I am able to download anything on my laptop and my other Nokia mobile. Some of the persons suggested to clear data and cache of Google Play Store that I have done. Even I have also selected uninstall updates of Play store but the problem persists.
Can someone please help.

I have this problem on my Sony neo L I thought it was the ROM and the WiFi modules that caused the problem and I tried GB,ICS and JB ROMS with no change in the problem then i tried the Google DNS as well still it dosent work!!!!
SOLVED!!!!!!!!
I was using connectify to share my wired internet connection with my other lap and my phone but then I changed the version of connectify which I was using and that's what caused the problem now I am using a different version and the problem is gone I can download apps from play store and use the other gapps.

Clear cache of playstore
From app manager>Force close to google play store , google play services and google services framework
If there just some apps u can't updated..just unmount ext-sd card and update the app then mount it again
If u r use freedom app ..open the app again & make sure u r stop app
If nothing help maybe the problem in host file ...try install adblock and hide ad then restore the default

This worked for me I had same problem and i couldnt upload images or videos in apps like instagram facebook magito. but now it works fine
Not a single thing works .it worked before a day or two and i also installed nothing.. please help me.

I'm having the same problem with a Galaxy Nexus... some apps download, other not. Problem only over Wi-Fi...
I'm having the same problem that just showed up yesterday. I have three Android devices that will not download or update an app from the Play Store on my wifi. If I use mobile data - everything works. I went to a public wifi and everything worked. Came back home and still can't download /update.
All other google services work with no issue. Checked router settings and nothing blocked. Restarted router and modem but still not working.
I was having the same problem, until yesterday... that it just started to work again on his own. =/
Maybe it is a problem from our ISP?

You must be right, because after two and a half days it's all working again for me. Kind of a pain since I tried troubleshooting so much.
Change DNS
I was suffering form this problem. I was not able to download the application via wifi. Downloading was working fine with mobile internet.
At last, I have changed my DNS to public Google DNS (via router) and its working ..

market enabler cant fake my provider anymore

so i was using market enabler 1.8.5 for about a year now and everything was going great until just last night when i tried going into the US market and the play store 3.10.10 still displays my local market ... I've tried installing market access , market unlocker and even newer versions of market enabler with no luck... also tried using the droidVPN app but no luck there either .... cleared the cache, cleared data , rebooted ... ive done everything and nothing is happening and the play store still displays my local market
i wish someone could help me with faking my provider because its really driving me crazy ..
update :
i tried restoring a nandroid backup back when the market enabler was working, and guess what ?!
STILL not working .. i am going crazy here !

I have the same problem. I thought it's only me and my device. I didn't find solution even that I tried everything you wrote. So, I am also asking if somebody know any solution for this.

Same issue happened with me, when I saw my region I was surprised as to what happened and checked again, when going to final transaction it shows US. but still, it's driving me nuts. Google Play Services might be responsible for this, it tends to update itself
Same problem... I thought it was only my phone.
I used it to fake to Japanese market, so it is not a region problem. Market must have updated something :crying:

Happening to me too. Started two days back. Tried all methods. different versions of market enabler, market access and market unlocker. Tried downgrading play store to 3.7.XXXX. Doesn't work. Automatically upgrades itself to 3.10.XXXX, a few minutes later. Tried different ROMS, not working. Tried ViperX, CM10, icecoldjelly on my HOX. Restored to a previous time when market access was working, doesn't work no more. The only possible explanation for me is that google has blacklisted me, or blocked me, or whatever. Maybe using a different google account might work.
3 different apps (MarketEnabler, MarketAccess, Market Unlocker) not working for me anymore either. The weird thing is that Google Play Store from the browser still sees my phone as T-Mobile US i9100, but I don't see the buy button anymore.
I guess google changed the way it's fetching relevant data from the phone... any fixes yet?

Same here. It just stopped to work half a day ago. Clearing market data, rebooting and reverting to 2.6 market doesn't seem to help. It's really annoying since I live in China...
I heard that VPN/proxy may solve this problem but I don't have an VPN or proxy to try it out.
Besides, since many people are having this problem in these few days but not all at once, maybe this has something to do with our account/credit card/purchase history or something. Anyone tried to use another account, or maybe use the same account on another device?
OK I tried it myself, flashed a new rom, got a new Gmail account (without CC), reinstalled market unlocker and it didn't work. Removing SIM card didn't help either. Guess we have to use VPN/Proxy.
PS: It seems that market unlocker works with PC play store though.
Guess we are stuck like this. People who live in us or gb, or someplace where the play store doesn't suck, are really very lucky. This is driving me crazy. Not being able to download top free apps and games........ not even temple run 2.....root explorer......nothing... why cant google let us select a region, then at least the cool free ones will be available to everyone. yeah...ill keep dreaming

Same issue here and I did all the steps you mentioned still didn't work .. but i see all user who got this problem there posts are new to 10 FEB 2013 so that mean may google did updated something ... i hope somebody could find the solution ... i tried both market unlocker pro and market enabler but none worked ... we will be stay tuned here untill a solution comes

Error 927 Google Play.

I am having some issues with Google Play giving error 927 when updating/downloading apps.
This happens both on wifi and cellular.
Both on my Note 2 on Sammy rom and Desire on 4.2.2.
Is there anything I can do?

I have faced a similar problem long back.. I have done the below steps to recover..
Uninstall updates for Playstore
Clear data for Downlaod manager
Keep the phone connected to internet and reboot
after reboot wait for couple of minutes so that Playstore update will be installed properly.. Then try updating your apps..

Problem is all of my purchased apps are attached to gmail with 927 error. Someone please help. I'm desperate!!!! I have Verizon Galaxy S4. Doesn't matter what I wipe, if I'm rooted or not, or if I try using my account on my wife's S4... All give me error 927!!!

I'm actually having this same exact problem on my Note 3. I tried changing my Google password, but continue to have problems. I pulled a logcat and posted it here in case anyone can interpret it.

What version of the play store are you running? Also, do you have the background restricted for the play store?
Try the newest Play Store if yours is not up to date. I remember the issue in my S4 and newest version solved it after wiping data and install update.

Setting -> Data Usage -> Menu -> Background Data
May have slightly different way phone by phone. Also check the app under Data Usage for play store, see if background data restricted.

Ok I checked and background data is not restricted, and I have the latest play store version.
It is a issue @ Google, nothing you can do on your phone to fix it. Contact Google support. I have a support case there, and need more people to bug them, so they have to fix it.

Ok so I called Google Play support, and they said was they are aware of the problem and have no resolution and I should try to search the web for others having the same problem and see if the found a fix. WTF....

Yes its the same account I've had going all the way back to the first Android phone. It has gotten better. I ODIn'ed back from a 4.4.2 ROM to a custom 4.3 ROM and my market works most of the time. When it starts actign up I usually have to clear data/wipe caches, restart and wait a bit for it to resync my account. Kind of a pain, but working most of the time is better than none of the time.

How are the Play store on the web working for you when signed in with the account you are having issues with. For me I have trouble loading in anything @all. Especially the top list, and my purchases.
I believe there are issues with older accounts that did not get updated/patched with new settings after ICS update, or the 3.0+ update of their store when it became Play Store and not Android market. When I use my other account all is ok, but there I have no purchased apps.
If you want you can find the 2.3.6 version of Market and replace the Play store and you will find that all issues are gone. Now I use Legazy Play store witch can be used together with normal play. Just need to push it to system/apps on 4.3 or system/priv-apps on 4.4.
Use all this advise at own risk.

I just recently started having this issue on a stock GS4A on at&t. Maybe a week ago could not get updates and wrote it off as a busy server then realized this weekend I could not get anything new.
I tried every fix I could find on the forums and even a fix that the 2nd tier Google tech suggested (no different from the forum fixes other than including turning the automatic date/time on and off). Every method was a band-aid at best: one or two apps can come through before I get the 927 error or the DF-BPA-30 error. At least the error codes are consistent...
I honestly think this is related to the age of my account. I have had a Gmail account since 2007 or so when I believe it was still in beta. I am surmising that older accounts are on an older server or something that is having issues. I made two dummy accounts and could download anything I wanted, so there is nothing wrong with my handset or connections. The temporary work-around I am using is adding a secondary gmail account and adding any apps through it, while still using primary for mail, contacts, and calendar. I am not a heavy user, so it works, but I should not have to patch it together like this!
So- anyone who is getting this error; how long have you been a Google user? Anyone else tried "old vs new" for a cause of the error?

Ask to get your case transferred to apps division. There I got real help. They are really good. And have helped me a lot.
There are two possible methods to solve error 927 on android:
Method 1:
Go to settings>>”All”>>Select “Google Play Store”
Now Force Stop>>Clear Data>>Clear Cache
Now again try downloading or updating the app
If the above didn’t work, go to settings>>”All”>>Select “Google Play Store”>>Uninstall Updates
Again, from “All”>> Select “Download Manager”>>Clear Data and Cache
Rerun Google Play Store and install/update your app or game
Method 2:
Go to system settings>> Accounts>>Google>>remove your Gmail account
Now from settings>>Apps>>All> Force stop, Clear data and cache for Google Play Store, Google Service Framework and Download Manager (like in method 1)
Now again go to settings>> Accounts>>Google>>Add your gmail account
Restart your android and then accept all the Google terms and setup Google settings
Rerun Google Play Store and update or install your app.
How to Fix Error 927 in Android
Free Some Space on your device
Clear data and cache files of Google Play Store
Stop or Uninstall Google Play Store (Updates)
Add New Gmail Account

Missing apps from my apps list in play store.

I've just looked at my apps list in the play store and there is loads of my installed apps missing they are installed on my phone but not showing up in the list. Could someone please tell me where they have gone and how to get them back.

This has happened to me as well. I think I started after Google Play was updated to version 4.3.11.
I have like 120 apps installed. The "Installed" tab under "My apps" now says I've got 9: Barcode Scanner, GTasks Key, K-9 Mail, Official XBMC Remote, Pure Calendar, Pure Grid Calendar, Soundhound, Superuser and USSD/MMI Fix. If I flip to the "All" tab, all my apps are still there. From there I can view information about the apps, but those that are not among those 9 will say that they're not compatible with my device.
My device is a rooted HTC Desire Z (called G2/Vision in North America), with some "EliteMod" 4.0.4 ROM - which have been working perfectly for well over a year. I was thinking it was some kind of Apple-style scam by Google to force users of old, rooted devices to upgrade.. xD
When trying (and failing) to figure out how to tell a living person at Google that 90 % of my installed apps and probably 99 % of the apps in Play Store are missing, I discovered the following added comment here:
"We’ve heard of some users suddenly missing apps under the My Apps section of the Google Play Store app. This is a known issue that we are currently investigating, and updates can be found on our Known Issues page."
I found no updates on it on the "Known issues" page, though.

I wonder when google will fix this problem. I guess its something to do with their framework services.

I've fixed it today, I'm not exactly sure how, as I tried a dozen different things I read online. Including uninstalling Adfree, removing hosts-file, clearing app-data for some Google Service-apps, flashing gapps one more time, etc.
But what I did just before it started working again, was to remove my Google account (the one used on Play Store, you can remove it from "Accounts/Synchronization" under Settings), restart the device, and then re-add the account again (in "Accounts/Synchronization"-settings). Then everything became as perfect as it was.

Thanks trollsperm. I will try that today. BTW, I have observed one more thing. The playstore works just fine after a new flash on Wi-Fi, but it goes back to the no working state as soon as I switch from Wi-Fi to Mobile Network. Have you encountered that?
I have tried your suggestion of deleting the account and re-add the account. This was the outcome
1.The play store started working fine and app sync was flawless. This was on Wi-Fi
2. I switched to the mobile internet and the play store worked fine until I rebooted the phone. The play store stopped working and apps were missing after the reboot with the mobile network on.
3. I then cleared the play store cache and data and switched on WiFi. Opened play store and voila the play store worked normally.
4. I did the same process on the mobile network but it didn't work out.
I guess the Google location services are kinda screwed up on the mobile network and not on WiFi.

Then I'm afraid your issue is different than mine. For me, the result have always been the same, whether or not I'm on Wifi or mobile. I can now browse Play Store both on Wifi and mobile, and rebooting changes nothing.
When I experienced the issue of "empty" Play Store, the Wifi-connection icon in the upper right corner were always gray (instead of blue) - something that's usually only happening if I'm connected to a wireless network, but the router isn't connected to the actual internet.
My conclusion is inconclusive, I'm just happy that it's back to normal..

I'm facing the exact same problem as rahulananda.
In my case, the play store running on my Galaxy S4 and also on my notebook, is empty - searchs returns nothing and whey I access directly an app page, it says the app is not available in my country (Brazil).
For me, play store works fine over when mobile data (4G) is enabled, it doesn't work at all on wifi.
I also have a Galaxy S3 which is working perfectly on wifi and also mobile data.
It doesn't seem to be related to play store version, as in all my devices it is currently on version 4.3.11 - besides it is also not working on my laptop.
But, indeed, this is an issue to determine the location - for some reason, over my wifi, and rahulananda's mobile data, Play Store is unable to determine the country.
I found this on Google's Known issues: support.google.com/googleplay/known-issues/1319135?hl=en reffer to issue 8324410.
Hope they fix this soon, this is driving me crazy!!!
Let me know if you find a solution!
Its a simple fix as long as you have root.If you do look at this:
1. Navigate to the Build.prop
2. Find these 2 lines:
Code:
ro.build.description=
ro.build.fingerprint=
3. Delete everything in front of the "=" sign
4. Download a custom rom for another device that has great compatibility with apps(htc one, sgs4)
5. Copy those lines from its build.prop to yours
6. Reboot and Enjoy your market:good:
Well, my problem has been solved after applying the latest CM10 nightly update.

Google Play Store is downloading and updating over WIFI only!

Hello Guys,
I have Note 4 N910C running Android V5.0.1 and few days ago I started to face a problem while downloading new apps or updating existing apps from Google Play Store through mobile data as it only stuck on "Downloading...." and it never goes to Counter or Installing phase and while everything else is working very fine on mobile data so I tried to use WIFI and it works which is very weird... I tried a lot of things in order to solve this issue but I failed... I cleared cache, data, uninstalled updates of play store, google play service and google services frame work and I forced close them and I removed google account and restarted my phone but it didn't work with me... I also unchecked all devices from google play settings on the web and checked only this device but it didn't work too... I removed devices from devices and activity through google account settings and it didn't work.
The only way worked with me is after I wiped data and factory reset the phone and I really don't wanna do this again... Any suggestions please??

I am facing this problem again... Any suggestions guys!?
Check play store options and iff auto update apps on wifi is checked uncheck that I maybe wrong but its worth a shot
