[Hisense A5 Pro CC] Custom Rom thread - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello I have created this thread to get a list of custom rom avaiable for the Hisense a5 pro cc.
It uses Vision Os, which is particularly made for eink or color eink display.
In particular I have found out that the OS rely on an app called EINK LAUNCHER that is seems to be the stock launcher for eink devices.
It also depend on eink algorythm and color modes. Like Clear Mode, Smooth Mode, Speed Mode and Balanced Mode, so there should also be a file that stock thoose various screen modes.

help, i jut brick my A5 pro CC, i just installed talkback and now my phone is unresponsive the touch screen not work anymore, i try to fastmode (power plus vol up) but command not appear in fastmode to hard reset, some body can find me a firmware (original rom) so i can try to flash via fastboot? thank

try to fastboot erase user data to reset its flash is lock, try to un lock with oem unlock not function, i dont now how to unlock bootloader because my adb is unautorized

[Q] Alcatel OT-990 - Bricked(?)

I'll tell my story.
STORY
I didn't really need to jailbreak my phone to do advanced stuff or tweaks. I was getting a low storage notificationand considering i didn't installed games, only social networks and daily use apps, i though there was a simple solution to move all them to the SD card. I found a mod that allows exactly that but I did my research and i found that i had to do a lot of things.
1.Root (Alcatel OneTouch 990 / Froyo 2.2.2) - I used PdaNet and SuperOneClick 1.9.5 (latest versions didn´t work, more standard root processes neither)
2.Install Recovery ClockworkMod - I Used ROM Manager and Recovery Manager (The last got the work done)
3. Flash the ROM - I didn't know that install the ROM and flash it were different things so i did next without flashing MY MISTAKE
4. install Ext4All fix - I used the Recovery mode of Clockwork. / it said that now i had "a system with steroids" but all i have is a (i hope not totally) bricked phone
CURRENT STATE
I'd like to think is not unarguably dead. PdaNet still recognizes it when i plug it in the computed.
If i try to turn my phone on, it shows Android logo and after that it goes to a black dark screen forever, but the touch icons are with light (i hadn't waited more than a pair of minutes, actually)
If i try a hard reset going to recovery mode (volume up + power) it shows the Android logo, and after that goes to a black screen but illuminated by the backlight, similar to the one that was shown when the cellphone wasn´t bricked.
¿Any idea? ¿Did i lost it forever?

Redmi 3 Pro stuck/bootloop hopeless

R3 Pro (3GB/32GB, 2015817 version) came with some chinese/sellers custom ROM (and locked bootloader). It was heavy and bloated, so I decided to update it. Tried latest global stable (fastboot) ROM via miflash, flash was successful but that's was a lie - it stuck on mi logo...
Then I tried various other ROMs, global and developers, latest and older, some xiaomi.eu, manhit, etc. (for locked bootloader) and all I've got was either just a mi logo or mi logo with "powered by android" animation beneth. I left it for hours after flash and still nothing.
Then I found some ways to flash twrp, did that successfully, booted into it, wonder around in terminal and file manager, tried some recovery ROMs - but the result is the same - just logo or logo + animation.
I can get into fastboot (but it doesn't realy matters since bootloader is locked), download (EDL) mode, that Xiaomi menu (with Power and Vol+, with "shortcuts" to all the modes, hardware tests - btw. everything works there, etc.), twrp, charge battery (with some ROMs phone just gets warm and I know it's charging, there are no LED and/or animation, but in some everything works just like it should), but just can't boot into OS.
And I'm going nuts!
Here are some logs from the last ROM (i don't even know anymore which one is it) - pastebin.com/qaKVzxue and pastebin.com/dM3nEVj0
I'm not so experienced in looking at that but seems like every other thing in there, like cpu, i2c (touch/sensor), sound, battery, etc. is broken/faulty which is not true - everything was fine before update, and everything IS still fine according to inbuilt (xiaomi) hardware tests.
So somehow it seems that all the ido ROMs I tried are wrong for this device? Or am I missing something (quite possibly, I'm tired and pissed off)
Last night I did a backup of efs/nvram and then wiped internal memory/partitions, flashed latest global ROM, restored efs/nvram - phone stuck, but this time not on MI logo but freakin' penguin logo (like here en.miui.com/thread-377870-1-1.html). Same logo is for fastboot mode, no more bunny. Then flashed twrp and phone now shows mi logo with "powered by android" animation beneath, like before...
I don't know how this works with Xiaomi phones, but looks like it worked with some factory/seller special combination of ROM and bootloader. Then I did update and something stuck, maybe differences between ROM and bootloader, or some inside/hidden security mechanism that stops boot process? And because I can't find original firmware and/or bootloader is locked (maybe even updated?) it's now stuck...
Either that or some HW fault, but it would be insane that official ROM update with official tools and in factory download mode with full battery can cause such problem!
Can you go to twrp recovery?
Yes, like I said in the first post. I can do anything but boot android/MIUI. It's either because of locked bootloader or somehow official ROM installed officialy (via MiFlash in EDL mode) bricked phone, which is catastrophic bug i.e. epic design/implementation fail by Xiaomi.
Try this
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-3/help/bootloop-bootloader-locked-options-t3331139
Sorry to intrude, I have pretty much the same problem.
Phone is stuck in bootloop and I can only access fastboot mode and EDL mode (but in EDL the phone does not connect to pc) and when I try to flash a stock ROM (since I know it is a software issue due to an unfortunate update) it says "locked device". So I tried to unlock it via MiUnlock... but phone cannot be verified 'cause "account not bound to this device" and obviously I cannot change any options since I cannot use my phone.
Please, help
it was happened to me about 3 days ago when i play around with the twrp & rooting thingy... tried everything from youtube to various forum solutions... just one link really works when you only have fastboot options and your phone bootloader is still unlocked. just follow the steps in the OP... key things here is downloading the tool to read your phone as mentioned in the OP i.e [TOOL]Minimal ADB and Fastboot [1-6-17]
1) Download Tool -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
2) Follow all the steps in the OP -> http://en.miui.com/thread-277276-1-1.html
3) Enjoy your phone from back from the dead.. LOL!
4) Remember here, the key is NEVER GIVE UP and PATIENT!
NOTE : The Device will start, wait till completion , it can take up to 10 Minutes. -> for me around 15-20 minutes for I have flashed the current beta rom of MIUI8 7.6.8
cheers, guys!
blx-
I had a similar situation.
Officially unlocked boot loader. Flashed TWRP using fastboot. Only got the mi logo and a boot loop on start up.
Could not turn on. Could not boot into TWRP.
When the phone was boot looping I could still get into fastboot mode by holding power+volume down.
I booted from fastboot mode into TWRP by opening the command prompts and using
"fastboot boot twrp2.img"
That got the phone available from windows explorer. I was able to move a new ROM image to the SD card and install from TWRP.
Currently running lineage 14.1 -20190112.
I lost a bunch of **** but my phone seems to turn on for the moment.
Note, I still cannot boot into TWRP using the phone only. I can only boot in from fast boot as above.

Redmi Note4x ebbg touchscreen TWRP failing to display on screen

So this old thread - https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-4/help/strange-problem-black-screen-redmi-note-t3716706
used to work for me. I downloaded the v17 twrp given by highwaystar_ru, and flashed it via adb, rebooting to bootloader, then fastboot flash recovery twrp.img, then rebooting via power+vol up buttons.
However it is no longer working - there is no visual display.
adb devices detects the device in recovery mode
Touching my finger randomly on the screen, it vibrates. I verified that this actually still 'works' on the TWRP menu, so it's definitely the fault of TWRP just not displaying on my screen.
The official TWRP download does not seem to work either.
Any advice and experience is welcome, thanks
Hey can you try these TWRP and tell me if the problem persists:
Dark Recovery Project:
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=746163614322262912
Redwolf Recovery Project:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...t/recovery-red-wolf-recovery-project-t3653704
Twrp Exclusive:
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673956719939833541
Twrp exclusive(this might work for your black screen its for ebbg display so try it as well):
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962187416754473934
If the problem still persists then idk try restoring your phone to stock by Mi kdz files by following this guide if you dont know:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-4/how-to/guide-revive-redmi-note-4x-codename-t3703365
It says bricked but you can use it aswell, and try repeating the proccess of unlocking bootloader(now you can unlock it whenever you want because xiaomi has already given you the permission) and flashing a twrp again.
Hopefully i helped
Flashing all four of those links with fastboot flash recovery, then leaving the phone plugged in and pressing key combination to get back to recovery, do not work.
I have since fixed it. Not sure why it wasn't working, but here were my steps:
Install MiFlash tool.
Go to bootloader/fastboot mode on phone.
Flash an 8.1.11 ROM.
Then everything works from there, and can reinstall the v17 ebbg TWRP as usual.

Lenovo TB-7304F (Tab 7 Essential) - stuck on boot

Afternoon
I have a Lenovo 7" tablet which is sticking on boot...to describe:
tablet off, charge screen working fine (green battery)
can get into menu to select fastboot mode or recovery
fastboot works, at least screen appears!
recovery shows dead android/no command screen - how to access recovery?
booting up, get inital orange logo then a 'bing' and start of boot but then freezes on the second logo
tablet not visible on PC, even in fastboot mode (have installed drivers)
I'm looking to get this going but am a bit stumped. I tried reinstalling firmware but can't get SPF Tools to work with any available scatter files; I would like to install TWRP (I found a potential image file on XDA) but can't do this until the PC recognises it....and I'm going round in circles now....any suggestions gratefully received. :good:
Update
OK, post was maybe a bit premature - I've kinda fixed my issues.
Managed to get into recovery after watching many videos (most of which were wrong, but hey-ho, got me on the right path!). At dead android screen, press and hold in power + vol up + vol down together (there is a bit of knack, turn it on its side with buttons facing up seems to be easiest) - this fires up the recovery screen (android standard recovery).
I managed to get over my bootloop issue by performing a data wipe/factory reset and cache wipe, then restarted fine.
As this was a secondhand tablet (my usual purchases - good condition bootloops!) - once it booted up I got into the set-up screens only to discover a Google lock issue. I ran the FRP unlock from here: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11050483647474832839 using the instructions from here: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f958/lenovo-tab-4-7-essential-tb4-7304f-frp-remove-2322527/ (Voltrans second post, not the original one which has a 404 error on the download site). This removed the FRP lock straight off and now I have a functioning tablet.
I'm probably going to try getting custom recovery on so will see how that goes - I'll post back
and...that's all folks....
OK, despite finding a TWRP recovery online https://twrpbuilder.github.io/downloads/twrp/#441 and downloading it, can I get the fastboot unlocked? no.
Apparently Lenovo locked them all up and threw away the key, so nothing more can be done here.
I tried various iterations of fastboot oem unlock and fastboot flashing unlock, and nothing works, just get an error - and yes, I did put developer options on, OEM unlocking ticked and USB debugging active.... :silly:
So, unless someone can point me in a direction on how to unlock it - I've reached the end of the road with this one

Ways to boot into Fastboot?

Is there any way to boot into Fastboot without booting into OS and using ADB?
E.g. when in bootloop Cox of MAGISK?
Fastboot would at least allow for stock kernel.
Maybe it's stupid question but I can't not into it at all from turned off device.
No problem with recovery tho...
I'm stupid or it wasn't there before. I tried both Vol- and + on OotB firmware (don't remember version) as well as .38 and all I could do is booting into OS and recovery.
Now, .40, Vol+ does nothing, but - boots into bootloader mode,
I love it, as it gives me access to all things - fastboot, "fast" power off, recovery, etc. Similar to how Moto has and as I moved from Moto Z3 Play to X3 I'm in love
Can you tell me how did you go to the fastboot mode?
Hi there https://youtube.com/c/TRICKSTER11 this yt channel about realme x3 and x3 sz
