ATT OTA tripped flash counter!?

Well, anybody or devs who can explain to me why the official OTA would trip flash counter for noob like me?
I did flash CWM 5.5.0.4 via ODIN that caused counter to become 1.
Then flashed Super User v0.87 (now updated v0.93) via CWM, and counter stayed at 1.
I did not get into download mode after that, nor flashed anything via CWM.
No custom Rom installed yet.
Installed insecure boot using Samsung Tool Kit V1.0 by Mksip (great tool):good:
Then OTA update this morning.
It downloaded fine, and after backing up Google search by TB, I tried to install.
I went into recovery automatically, and gave me "installation aborted. unverified signature"
So I went into download mode to check, and it shows flash counter now upto 3.
And shows as custom binary, and custom Rom.
I know I did not install any custom ROM yet, why does it think as custom rom and binary?
Is it because of insecure boot I installed?
Any light to this is so much appriciated for my learning for android.
Thanks in advance.

Can't Install Custom Recovery - STuck in Download

Note 3 Running Android 5.01 from Sprint.
I've had both OC5 and OH! (I think is the new one from August)
Both Firmware I try to install CWM or TW via ODIN and its unsuccessful. When I try to get into recovery it reverts to some errors while in Downloading.
Most recent attempt I re-installed stock firmware OC5. Ran OTA upgrade to newest firmware. Used CF to root and again ODIN to install CWM. Still same thing.
What am I missing here?
FYI if I use ROM Manager to install CWM it says its successful but can't book into recovery. It will just loop the bootloader so I have to use Odin to reinstall the firmware.
What ver. Of Oden you using?
Originally I used 3.07 but aftrer coming across this issue I've wiped and reinstalled the firmware and tried again using 1.85. Both versions had no luck.
Try Oden 3.10
Missing root. Try to reroot via odin, and try twrp via odin. If no go...put stock via odin and select nand erase. You may get stuxk on sprint logo when boots, go into recovery and do wipe. The reboot stock will load. Then root via odin, and install twrp or cwm via odin. This fixes all my problems...even when i thought phone was dying

RS988 Viper4Android and Asgard 6.4 possible solutions

So like other owners of the RS988 I had plenty of issues getting V4A and Asgard 6.4 to work on 21c , first V4A.
Download and flash this, you can choose any version of V4A in the aroma setup, but be sure to enable ALL the the other installations for flashing tho, that worked for me. https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/sound-mod-biohazard-android-infected-t3373888 Mega credit to the gentlemen there, this was the only V4A that worked for me on 21c. As for Agard... after flashing 21c complete go ahead and flash the boot loader zip from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/development/stock-rs988-21a-rom-flashable-zips-imgs-t3616188, boot up to complete installations then boot to recovery to flash the kernel, if you are already rooted you may not need to root again after kernel flash, I didn't need to. It worked for me.
Did you install the latest Asgard kernel? It can be delivered without V4A?
Yes, to run Asgard tho as I said and still recommend to flash 21c complete, then flash the bootloader zip in the second link provided, root if you haven't, boot to install, reboot directly into recovery and flash A6.4, should work, works perfectly for me everytime.
This might not be the place to ask this but does Google Assistant work correctly with Asgard 6.4 using this method?

Updating twrp recovery file gone wrong. Lost root access.

i rooted my android few months ago but some root requiring apps were not working so i thought may be i should update twrp recovery file so i flashed latest version but before that i had installed twrp official app from play store and created a backup. after that using same app i wanted to flash latest version of .tar file but my phone was soft bricked i installed stock rom and it became alive without data lost but lost root acccess so i then reflashed latest version of .tar file for my phone using odin it said success i try to boot in recovery mode but only red exclamation sign on top left corner and samsung logo nothing else happened. i reinstalled stock rom and my stock rom works fine but now i cant root my mobile or flassh twrp.

Having problems with magisk

Hey guys, so I tried flashing the latest Magisk version like a week ago and it worked perfectly, I downloaded Viper4Arise and flashed it but I got stuck in a bootloop and I didn't have a backup at the time, to fix that I installed the stock rom back and flashed old stock Recovery, I got Android 5.1 anyways, I re-rooted using kingroot, flashed TWRP Recovery using Flashify app, then switched ro SuperSU from Kingroot, now, I try flashing Magisk with no luck, it gives me "Space running out" error but I have like 23 GB free, I uninstalled Magisk, and everything went back to normal, I lost my root but I recovered it easily by flashing it since I already had TWRP. Can you guys please help me here? I need MagiskSU ASAP. Thank you.
I suspect your /system partition is running out. of space. I have no experience with migrating your root manager but I'd try unrooting the device as fully as possible and flashing Magisk in TWRP after that.
