Best ROM for MIPad 1? - Xiaomi Mi Pad Questions & Answers

Hello All, I have a MIPad 1 with original android. However, I am not able to install softwares such as Google Meet. I need this for normal home usage with games for kids may be. Nothing super heavy duty.
What is the best ROM that I could use? Any recommendations please

Aex 5.8 is the one i am using.
Good stable rom. Just few battery drain issues. Which you have to face on every shield rom

Best ROM for Gaming?

I got my MiPad some months ago only because of the performance and the K1 chip so I could game on it all I want but recently the android version, in other words KitKat is getting in my way to play games as most game developers are now also abandoning KitKat, developing games which only work with devices running 5.0+ or whatever. So yeah, That's all. Suggest me some ROM which is reliable for Gaming. Also, I have a lot of games already on my MiPad so I can't just try each and every ROM which is why I'm asking this. I would like to wipe the system & flash a new ROM just once.
Thanks.
RR N is best for gaming
AOSP Extended

Gaming on Nougat

Hello Guys,
I need to ask for hardcore gaming which Nougat rom should i use, and any other options which i can use.
If I'm being honest, for gaming I'd stick to an older ROM, Marshmallow for example, or even stock ROM. Nougat is not too battery friendly on itself, with hardcore gaming the battery doesn't last longer than two hours. Just my opinion.

None.
Check the replies here. Mostly all gamers recommend to go back to MIUI.

Downgrade to nitrogen os with the latest radon kernel
Yes!!!!, seriously i am a gamer and i use the latest version of nitrogen os with android 7.1.2, and with the latest version of radon kernel, seriously saying pls try this combination, heating issues less than stock miui rom, better battery backup(that was impressive), and to your information i play modern combat 5, which is a top end game, and i play it every time on free time, please give it a try, i play it continously for more than 30 min on daily basis. I actually flashed the radon kernel to test my new fast charger which i invested, and i sticked to this combination, it was excelent, but previous and older versions of radon kernel was just bull****, please give it a try, even on extended gaming there were no over heating, temperature remained 42 to 44 approx, sometimes 45, but dont play while charging, it can go 47. please give it a try and give your comments. PEACE OUT.......:good::good:
Can you please tell me the kernel version and to which profile you have set it ,also by the way can you please play pubg and reply
Radon kernel version 6.3, and default profiles only, balanced configuration, and other default profiles, I changed only the quick charging (2400 ma) , bcoz I flashed just for fast charging support(as I said earlier). I have not tried pubg ever but, modern combat 5 is a game which has new updates and no bugs fixes for smooth game plays, in stock ROM game was making the phone over heated and game was lagging, but I was no encountering these problems now, due to this only I founded that this combination was good, give it a try.

The best custom rom for Z Ultra so far?

Hi guys. I am using Z Ultra for 5 years and i want to install custom rom. Yes i know that there is so much roms and most of them are old but i want to use something stable and i want the phone to be a little more snappy because sometimes is a bit sluggish. Good battery life is a must too. I am using mainly Chrome, FB messenger lite, Gmail and a couple of games (Titan Uprising and Asphalt 9). My phone battery life is somewhere around 5 to 6 hours of screen time (sometimes 7 hours if im more carefull). So i did a little research and i have selected those custom roms:
1. HybridRom Concept EditioN - stock based rom and i can use Sony goddies. Also support UB and LB but i think UB + custom kernel is the best option.
2. LineageOS 12.1 - current security patches. How is battery life?
3. ResurrectionRemix 5.8.3 - possible problem with touch but i can use the fix.
4. RXSW Z5 Experience [v14.00]
5. Nimadroid Rom
6. Other suggestions?
I need stable rom with minimal bugs because i am using my phone a lot.
Thanks in advance!
Ive used nimadroid rom, he is my frined actually, its very good, fast and no lag, but battery is a littel drain than stock

Thank you for tips, do you know if screen mirror and hdmi over usb works reliably in nimandroid and not by occassion as in sony rom ?
Me too - I need a new update for my Sony ultra z. But I worry I'm not able to use banks app with custom rom as some banking apps and e wallet apps are really picky once it knows the phone has been rooted.
My gps navigation is very sluggish to start too - every time I go to a new place I had to stop on the roadside as gps signal either lost or not connected.
Count me in as well. I've got two kids and we give our old phones to our kids after updating them You are not alone
I've tried https://www.getdroidtips.com/custom-rom-sony-xperia-z-ultra/ Android 9 Pie, but i don't seem to get touch working
I seem to need a different kernel to get this to work. Anybody got Android 9 Pie working with touch working? Any tips to share? Thanks in advance

Cell Standby Problem

Hey !
I have a problem with cell standby thing and it is sucking up battery like really fast. I don't know what is causing it, I'm using ROM - HN Gaming 11.0.7 and Kernel - Seshtation 7.1.
If someone knows a quick fix about it, please do help, cos it jumps up whenever I use Youtube or play some games. Even with WiFi the problem is same. Please help or tell some tricks on how you keep it low.
Sup bro. Search for corvus rom. Best ever. I use the 4.5 version.
Use better established ROMs like PE, LOS, crDroid, Evo X etc rather than some build by random dudes on the interwebs. I personally use crDroid and it delivers great battery life.
