Bluetooth showing "no media" with Hyundai car radio - Redmi Note 9S / Note 9 Pro (Indian Model) Question

Hello
I'm experiencing this issue for a few months now: whenever i connect my smartphone with my car radio (Hyundai HB20) it shows the message "no media" and i need to reconect or turn off and on again the audio streaming in the bluetooth device settings. I need to do this everytime I turn the car radio on.
This happened with my old Mi A2 and now with the Redmi Note 9s. Tested some Motorola and Samsung devices on the car and works fine, also tested my phone on other cars (same model and year) and the problem persists.
Already reseted the bluetooth settings and tryed to change the bluetooth codec in the developer settings and didn't solve the problem. Also tryed to factory reset the Mi A2, no success.
What else culd i try?

Motorola S9

Its a very nice bluetooth sterio headset / hands free.
Usual pairing, finds device - but says code is incorrect, and wont lock the device as trusted, any ideas?????
I use these with my HD no problem.
When setting up the pairing are you using four zero's "0000" as the passkey.
have done the 0000
with no luck - says wrong code...
having major probs everytime i switch the headset back on....
My BT experience is limited.
Are your S9s are paired with anything else, laptop maybe? If connected to something else when attempting to pair to your HD, maybe this would throw up that error?
I had a similar experience trying to connect to my laptop, I didn't realise they were still connected to my HD in the other room using the same headphone profile.
mmmm!....
nope, not paired anywhere else
If all else fails perhaps a factory reset?
I read this.
- Turn the Bluetooth Headset on
- Connect it to the charger
- Disconnect it after 5 seconds
- Reset is done.

S9 headphone
I used my S9 with my blackstone a few times and had no problems.
You should pair the headphone first through
Settings\connections\bluetooth with headphone profile and passkey 0000
If you put in passkey just in the application (e.g. coreplayer) then the device is possibly not paired and you have to put in the passkey next time again.
The S9 can save a device list of 8 devices and connect automaticaly to on of them if it found one of them working. This worked very well at my headphone.
Best regards Wolf_munich

Motorola s9 handsfree
how to open it any idea?
I have the s9 aswell and ive had no problems pairing it with my hd though one time i didnt have a problem pairing it wih my computer i tried everything on the forums about reseting it and that didnt help. What i found to work was pairing the device with another bluetooth handset (xda orbit in my case) then trying to pair it again with the computer and that worked fine.
good luck with it and if all else fails you could always phone up motorola and get a replacement if its still in the 12 months.
keep us updated

Bluetooth issues - connected (no media)

i am facing this issue when i connect my bluetooth headfone BlueAnt it shows as connected but with no media..in setting i tried to check uncheck media option and reconnected and even restarted the device but to no success
Any guidance is appreciated
i tried it on Oreo Roms as well as EUI both giving
this issue
Heyyo, reading up on it? It could be related to A2DP.
I'd recommend going to other Bluetooth devices your BlueAnt is paired with and disable media on them and then try pairing to your Le Max 2 again as it seems to be more of an issue with the BlueAnt and other devices causing issues. I've seen on Google that others note for devices with A2DP that Bluetooth car audio tends to be the main culprit.
I tried the same device when it was on stock chinese 13s rom and then it was
working properly...
i then flash different roms ... and then when i settled down for the one
i liked .. this issue arrived... BlueAnt headfone has no issue with my MATE 8, only
it shows no media for a few seconds and then it disappears and then i can
normally use it.
Will try your advice

Bluetooth stability issues?

Hi folks,
I bought a Honor 8X last week, and until now I'm very satisfied, except for one thing: Bluetooth stability.
I use Bluetooth earbuds and speakers on a daily basis, and on all 3 devices I use, I'm encountering regular drops and stutters during audio playback.
I'm using the same devices with my previous phone, a OnePlus 3T, and I didn't get those issues (well, not BT related issues, I had other ones with that phone )
I'm also regularly having troubles to connect to my Anker speaker.
Anyone else is having this issue?
I use BT headset most evenings watching TV etc no pertic brand just cheap ones and not noticed any issue also had my 8x a week nearly

I am facing same issue. Device paired but media audio and input device are disabled. Only showing device is paired
I don't have this issue, it's probably because of the software. If it's not solved with an update, then who knows what's causing the issue.

I don't have this problem. It may be related to your bluetooth device. What is the bluetooth device you use?:○

Well, he said that the bleutooth device worked perfectly with OP 3T, my guess is that the current software of the 8X is the issue.
I fixed this by changing the bluetooth codec used in the developer settings.
1. Enable developer settings
2. Change the Bluetooth audio codec to SBC from aptX to SBC

When I go to developer options, bt audio codec options are grayed out. Can't change anything...
honor 8x cannot find or detect sony wi c300 bluetooth headset...although honor is very good when using it...i am very satisfied but i only regret in terms of connecting bluetooth headset.
I have no issues with bluetooth, the range is better than my previous huawei P8 max and it doesn't randomly disconnect.
What case are you using? Metal bumpers may look cool but they kill bluetooth and cellullar signal.

Hi
I have the same problem and I'm happy to know I am not alone, on French websites I have not found this topic. So my bluetooth headsets are a model called Fozento, Version Bluetooth: V4.2.
And my speakers are Ultimate Ears Boom.
With both I have the same problem and that is very very annoying.
i have the same issue with my bluetooth devices (Bose, JBL)
Hi! I´ve got a weird Bluetooth problem, i hope someone could help. I´ts about data transfer. I tried to send some photos to my work PC from my new 8X. Did not work, it sends a few percent of the photo and then I get an error message "BluetoothStackserver crashed" or something like that. New, up to date PC with the newest drivers, Win 8.1 64 bit. Well, I tried with different other devices, Galaxy S9plus, Honor 7x, Note 10.1 2014, and even my old Surface Pro (also with 8.1 64 bit) it works with everything but my PC. (And my PC works also with all of them). I brought it home, added to my wife´s PC (older but high spec laptop) and also doesn´t work but this time without error messages. I tried to connect to her phone (some LG) also works perfectly. Sending, receiving. I literally tried everything, newest drivers, reboot, but nothing seems working. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Same issue with mine. APTX stutters and is unusable. When I pair headphones that use APTX, I have to turn off APTX and revert to SBC to enjoy listening to music (which is an inferior codec). Something wrong with the software and APTX codec. Hope Honor fixes this in next update.
I am facing the exact problem with honor 8x. Usibg avantree tws 120 and Changing to sbc seems to disable the issue temporarily till i reconnect the buds and forget to revert to sbc as it automatically sets beack to aptx. Worth mentioning i have another galaxy phone which doesn't manifest the problem.

problem with Parrot car kit anyone?

So all my other phones work fine with the Parrot MKi9200. Except the ROG.
I'm going to try describing my experience as best I can. Wanting to see if anyone is having the same issues (with other asus phones even) and has found a solution.
First time I tried connecting, the bluetooth code popped up, I entered the default code and attempted pairing but the Parrot has too many paired devices so it was rejecting the ROG
so i cancelled the pairing and went into the Parrot to delete old devices
Tried pairing again but this time, it no longer asks for the code
The pairing appears to be successful on the Parrot, the phone says it's connected but when I try playing anything, there is no sound at all
I've tried forgetting the connection on the phone and then pairing again. and strangely enough, it no longer asks for the code, which is abnormal
The Parrot has no record of the ROG as a paired device so there is nothing I can do from that end
On the phone I then tried clearing bluetooth cache
setting org.coreaudio something bluetooth to not be optimised for battery
tried pairing a random headphone with the phone and it works just fine

BT problems with MiUI 10.3.1 ?

Hi there,
i noticed that my BT is not working properly after the update 10.3.1. My Sonys headphone are now detected as a SBC device and not a AAC. Tested on an iPhone the headphones are detected correct as a AAC device. Now the first connect take longer as before. If i connect a Headset it normally takes 3 seconds to connect. Now up to 20 seconds ...
Any tips except a factory reset ?
