No you can't. Though Realme 6 and rn8 pro has tge same chipset but RN8 Twrp never support in realme 6. But There is a way to rebuild twrp for realme 6 from note 8 pro. I am trying to rebuild it but for this i need realme 6 stock recovery.img file. I searched in web everywhere but never find the stock recovery. I downloaded RM 6 stock rom. Ozip file and extract it but there is no stock recovery.img file.

What do you mean by rebuilding? Do you mean from source? That's what I actually meant in my reply to this thread. If you mean porting, you can extract the boot.img with ADB. If you want to do that, I might be able to help.

No bro... I am not a programmer and know nothing about it. But somewhere in web I found a video showing that mixing stock recovery Ram_disk file with same chipset model twrp will allow us to rebuild recovery... Thats all..
does anyone have any idea on when pixel experience or any other custom ROMs are gonna come to realme 6

my note 4SD/4x is coming within 3 days so im here to ask question so that i know what im doing.
lets just say i dont know what note 4 i got if its 4SD/4X
so my questions are:
1. how to tell if its note 4SD/4X?
2. what apps to use to tell if its SD or MTK?
3. so there are different types of camera sensors, what apps to use to tell what sensors does i have? and which is better?
4. also there are 2 types of fingerprint scanner FPC and Goodix, what is better and why?
5. if my phone has unlocked bootloader can i use OTA updates without problem?
6. if rooted can i use OTA update?
7. if my device is note 4SD can i use this stock rom? Redmi Note 4X Global (http://en.miui.com/download-321.html#474)
8. if my device is note 4x can use this stock rom? Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm Global (http://en.miui.com/download-309.html#468)
9. if i have TWRP recovery and custom ROM installed can i use the process above (question 7 or 8) to restore it into stock rom?
10. if my device have a tampered/vendor/unofficial ROM can i restore it to Official Stock ROM? then how?
sorry for many questions this is my first xiaomi device and im confused between note 4 and 4x also the process to go back stock rom if its the same with samsung devices..

1,2,3. Install AID64 app from Playstore and you will find what you need.
4. Google is your best friend:good:
5. Yes
6. Not sure but mostly a yes unless you have installed some custom recovery like twrp
7,8. Both are the same. Better to flash fastboot version instead of flashable zip. Use google to find the fastboot version rom
9. Yes but you need to modify the flashable zip before flashing or else you will end up with a locked bootloader. Those flashable zips have a script for locking bootloaders automatically.
10. Device gets tampered only if you mess around with its parts. To restore to stock using fastboot version rom ONLY. How to flash the rom? Once again google is your best friend.

I'll help some questions since someone already answered all your questions.
1. There is 3 versions, Redmi Note 4 (MTK), Redmi Note 4x (SD 3/32 and MTK 4/64), Redmi Note 4 (Global) (All SD versions) (same as 4x just different bands for global market). Easy way, look at your box.
2. That easy, some apps will do, or you can look at your about devices. If octacore SD, decacore MTK
3. Yes, there are 3 different camera sensors, Sony IMX, Samsung s5k, Omnivision OV. You can see *#*#6484#*#* which one better? Idk, some people like the sony one.
4. For custom roms, FPC better.
Just remember the code name, If you have SD version the code name is "mido" and Mediatek "nikkel" so you wont cross flashing roms.

Just install a treble ROM. Its not great but you will get root access
Yes realme 3i can be rooted . I tested with Android 9 but have patched magisk boot IMG file for android 10 too since my device hardware is making an issue I cant test it..on android 10 c14. If anyone want then I will share.

First , how flash twrp bro . There is no twrp for realme 3i (i have checked official and unofficial ) . No file for realme 3i in orange fox too .

Then plz help me root my device, i don't know how to flash custom recovery ,as i have tried flashing tons of unofficial twrp file for realme 3i with no positive result.

How to root rmx 1827? I tried many twrp for realme 3i rmx 1827 (Android 10) . But the problem is I can't enter recovery mode ,Tried with every possible keys. But when I do with adb "adb reboot recovery" then it's only working and taking me to stock recovery mode. Need help!

This should be possible thanks to the Mediatek SoC. You can use SP Tools to do so. Just follow some guides on YT.

Of course. You can root realme 6 but first need to unlock bootloader then flash recovery like twrp and install magisk to root. But unfortunately there is no official twrp right now for realme 6. It wil be come in next months. Wait till then.
