Custom image of the system based on RETEU_9.0_PPHS29.59-51-13 Stock firmware
Prerequisites: The bootloader must be unlocked, installed new and clean stock firmware, TWRP is installed.
What's done?
- the system passes the SafetyNet test, the device is certified (in Magisk settings, activate Magisk Hide function, on the Magisk Hide tab, give permission for Google Play Services, reset Google Play);
- cleaned and made the system easier;
- built-in system color accents;
- built-in and updated to the latest Moto App and GAPPS (Play Market, Chrome, Google Dialer, Messages, Contacts, etc.) firmware, but nothing else. YouTube has been removed because I use YouTube Vanced ( Magisk Module );
- installed Nova Launcher (I recommend using it as the main one), RootExplorer, Asus File Manager (for simple tasks), Asus Gallery, AdAway ad blocker, Moto Command Center 2;
- installed weather widget and live wallpaper from Moto Edge+;
- replaced desktop wallpaper, system sounds, ringtones, notifications, alarms.
Installation
1. Extract from system.img archive, copy to SD Card. Copy Magisk installer archive, Disable_Dm-V_ForceEncrypt archive (take it from TWRP Installation Instructions post).
2. Reboot in TWRP, go to the Wipe tab and do a cleanup of Dalvik, System, Data and then two steps back perform "Factory reset".
3. Install the image of the System. In the "Installation" tab in the lower right corner, click on "Install img" and select system.img. A window will open in which you should select the System Image section in which the image will be installed. Swipe for confirmation.
4. After the installation is finished, go to the Wipe section and perform the "Factory reset".
5. Install Magisk, Disable_Dm-V_ForceEncrypt. Reboot to the system.
6. After of the boot make the settings.
Enjoy! :victory:
Download Google Drive

Will it work on devices for other regions? I think so. But it needs to be checked.

Sometimes when I use my Zoom, I have a problem of some apps in the background being killed. I think this has more to do with Low Memory Killer than 4GB if RAM - my previous phone, had 3GB and when using a some type of AOSP ROM, this was less likely to happen. Could you tell me, if Low Memory Killer values can be adjusted - or maybe in current android versions this is no longer the case and they replaced LMK with some other solution?

I can't tell you. For example, I have 10 applications running in the background and nothing is deleted.

What Is It?
Aroma App Package Creator is an application for those who flash new rom's often and want an easy way to create a flashable zip to reinstall apps. This utilizes Aroma Installer for more customization, allowing you to choose which apps to be installed instead of installing all of them. I made this tool for myself after seeing strawmetal's Flashaholic Essential Packs and wanted a way to produce the same results without editing multiple config files for each "pack" I make. I hope everyone else will find it useful as well
How To Use: Click Steps For Screenshot
1) Download the aroma-app-package-creator.jnlp file and run by double clicking it
You must have Java 6 or higher for the application
You will have to accept a security warning. This is normal for all applications using Java Web Start
2) Click the + button under the Group Names list to create a new group
3) Add an app to a group by selecting the desired group, then click the + under the Apps list
If you don't select an apk file then there will be an empty folder in data folder of your created zip with the Apk's name where you should place the .apk manually
4) Choose your device from the Calibration drop down menu and then click create to build your zip
If your device isn't on the list of preloaded calibrations then choose CUSTOM and input the calibration data for your device. See below on how to get this data.
Send your device name and calibration data via email or pm and it will be added to the list of preloaded calibrations
5) Flash your zip like any other in recovery
How To Get Calibration For Your Device
1) Download the calibration.zip from here
2) Run the zip in recovery like any other and when prompted to use alternative touch select no (usually using power button)
Nothing on your device is changed by running this tool.
3) Follow on screen instructions until your calibration data is displayed in a popup
When asked to tap the circle sometimes you may need to tap and hold for a few seconds or tap it multiple times. It should work eventually
You will get to test the calibration, if it is not good (not picking up finger, choppy, etc.) try running the tool again, but instead selecting yes for alternative touch

Free Xprivacy permission/privacy manager

"XPrivacy can prevent applications from leaking privacy sensitive data. XPrivacy can restrict the categories of data an application can access. This is done by feeding an application with no or fake data. There are several data categories which can be restricted, for example contacts or location. For example, if you restrict access to contacts for an application, this will result in sending an empty contact list to the application. Similarly, restricting an application's access to your location will result in a set location being sent to the application."
more info on the original xda thread, or github. The authors describe how it is better than other privacy solutions.
xposed installer is a framework for modules (such as xprivacy). This has the potential to allow tremendous customization of your ROM without having to flash a custom ROM.

Basic Info
1. requires xposed installer (which requires root access) before installing xprivacy (i.e. both files need to be installed)
2. files are designed for Android 4+, but there is a version that works with Gingerbread (android 2+)
3. will work on almost any android ROM. Works on my locked, stock, 2.3.4 sprint ROM.
How to install:
First step for everything you do: Create a nandroid backup and make sure you know how to restore it!
For the framework:
1. Download XposedInstaller.apk (for the corresponding version android ROM you have) and install it
2. Launch the Xposed Installer, go to the "Framework" section and click on "Install/Update"
3. Reboot
4. Done!
For any modules you want to install:
1. Download <module>.apk and install it (get the version for your corresponding android ROM)
2. Launch the Xposed Installer and go to the "Modules" section
3. Enable the module by checking the checkbox (verification stage)
4. Reboot
5. Done!

Requires root?
If you have a Sprint stock, locked rom, how were you able to load this program without root access?
armoredsedans said:

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
The bootloader is locked, but the ROM is rooted (i.e. has superuser privelages).
There is a new xposed module (backported to gingerbread) that fixes an android "master key" security hole.
Its nice to be able to get security fixes like this since Sprint/Motorola no longer support this device.

[MOD] Media/Volume NavBar for TouchWiz In Car Installs

With the help of 7786 and lots of time spent to fix the code on the IronRom's NavBar, I have finally finished the Media/Volume Navbar for the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 for TouchWiz.
This mod not only enables the NavBar, but it is modified to change Volume for those installs where a Volume Knob is not an option like mine. Also has the Previous, Play/Pause and Next Playback functions. The Google Logo opens the Google Search when held for a second. I for one really don't care to have a Search Engine taking up valuable space on my Screen (despite the ScreenShots [emoji14])
On Certain Launchers, for example Apex Launcher, The Navbar is Transparent. I don't know what other Launchers are like this But it looks great.

How to Install Mod:
1. Download Zip 2. Enable Soft Keys 3. Restart Into Recovery 4. Install Zip 5. Clear Dalvik/Cache 6. Enjoy
How to Enable Soft Keys:
Section 1: Pre-requisites
You need to have root access on your device.
Install Root Explorer or ES File Explorer or any file manager with which you can access the system partition. Below steps are given for Root Explorer.
Make sure your device is at least 70% charged to avoid complications during the process.
Section 2: Procedure
Open your preferred file manager and mount the system partition as read-write in stead of read only. Grant superuser access when it prompts.
Go to the system folder present in the root of file system. i.e the path- /system
root explorer
Now open the file “build.prop” in any Text Editor. For Root Explorer users, long click on “build.prop” file and tap on “Open with Text Editor”. (Before editing this file, for a safety, copy this file to the external memory card and save as a backup.)
build.prop
Now add the following line to this file at the end:
Code:
[CENTER]qemu.hw.mainkeys=0[/CENTER]
Save and Exit.
Now reboot your device.
Voila! You now have soft keys on your device!
If soft keys are still not enabled, please check if you have typed in the exact line as above. There are some apps which do this for you with a single click. But these apps may cause boot loops. Happy Androiding!

Introduction
microG GmsCore is a FLOSS (Free/Libre Open Source Software) framework to allow applications designed for Google Play Services to run on systems, where Play Services is not available. If you use your phone without GAPPS this might become a useful tool for you.
microG GmsCore is one of the two core components of the microG project. His job is to replace the Gapps (you'll continue to use the PlayStore), thus giving you a longer battery life and performance without loss of resources.
This is not software developed by me, I'm just sharing the file.
Note: Only use crDroid/BeanStalk or Xposed (Use this module Fake Gapps and ignore item 3 on guide)
GUIDE – DO NOT INSTALL ANY GAPPS PACKAGE!
1. Install MicroG.zip via TWRP
2. Reboot system
3. (User of BeanStalk ignore this item) Go to Settings:
→ crDroid Settings
→ Miscellaneous
→ Allow signature spoofing (Enable the option) (Look!)
4. Open the microG Settings
→ System grants signature spoofing permission (Enable the option) (Look!)
5. Close the app
6. Open PlayStore and add your account
7. Enjoy
XDA:DevDB Information
microG GmsCore, App for all devices (see above for details)
Thanks: MicroG.org (Official site the MicroG Team)
Version Information
Status: Beta
Version: 0.2.4

Other ROMs work as well, but Xposed is not compatible with Nougat, so it is impossible to use the module to enable Fake Signature.
Already installed gapps, how to uninstall?
I already have open gapps installed, do I need to uninstall it before flashing this? Or do i have to clean wipe again?
Found the answer (incase others have the same doubt):
You will need to (from Recovery - In the order listed):
Manually wipe (format) your System partition
Flash your ROM
Flash The desired GApps package(microG package)
Wipe Dalvik & cache
Reboot
NOTE: You won't lose any of your data or application settings using this method.
Add this to the OP, just incase!
I can not sync contacts
