What is root and how to your huawei devices (from4.0.0+to7.0.0) - Huawei Developers

Why to root?
Well any way when we purchase our mobile. We not have full access to use it. Some services like hidden installation, modify installed apps, modify ROM,delete system apps, modify internal root memory etc are not allowed. That's why some apps don't work because mobile security don't allow them to serve special services .But when we root our mobile ,we can give them permission to do special services. These permission are managed by the rooting app.
Be Aware!!
If you are not a developer then use your root access properly .Only give root permissions to the apps which you can trust .If you give root permission to unknown apps, they can steel important data ,release viruses, encrypt your mobile software so be carefull but if you know how to manage it then can costimize your mobile amazingly by different apps.

You need to have superuser and busybox installed. You can get both off the market.

A common misconceptions it that unlocked=rooted. This is not true. Once the device is unlocked, root access has to be properly configured. The majority of custom ROMs properly configure root access but I'm sure some don't or there are bugs/issues with a few.
Personally, I prefer to troubleshoot root permissions issues at the lower level where I can view the specific permissions.
The easiest way in my opinion, biased of course, is to use my application, Root Checker Pro. I provide a free link to it off XDA (99 cents in the Market...).
If you could post the results up, it'll show which files have the correct/incorrect permissons and allow us to more specifically resolve the issue.
Some general approaches would be to reload Superuser apk from the market, uninstall/reinstall Superuser apk from Android/Market or install the Superuser apk file through a .zip from the custom recovery.
These method should do a mass reset/reconfigure on the permissions and resolve the majority of issues.
Hope that helps!

I don't think so. You need to root it again, if your device is unrooted currently.

No, root access is global. You can however use Superuser or SuperSU to restrict root access to only one app, if you want.
Out of curiosity, why do you wish to unroot, yet retain root access with one specific app? What exactly are you trying to do? If you want to unroot because a certain application (such as banking/payment software) won't work if your phone is rooted, you can install the Xposed framework and use RootCloak on a per-app basis to trick the app into thinking you're not rooted.
Thanks you,:good:

This is good idea,
But i supposed (in Linux) if an App has Root access (777 permission) and Root Owner, the App is able to do any thing!
so what is wrong? what is different if an app has (root permission/root owner) or not?

Q: How to root LG X Screen

Hi I'm new here so not sure if posted in the right place.
Does anyone know how to root an LG X Screen? I tried to google it but I wasn't finding anything useful.
Thanks.
Use One Click Root apk
To root your device you can use KingRoot app, which can root many devices without PC. If KingRoot doesn't work, you can also try with Kingo Root app or Framaroot app.
Try use kingroot app
Nowadays, Root is very easy. If u do not know how to root your device then just try to use one-click root apps. Lots of root apps available in the apps market so PC is not mandatory to root your device. I can suggest you few one-click root apps such as Kingroot , Framaroot if those tools not work then u can try magisk manager or iRoot.

If your device has root access, you can remove King root with other applications or from the King root settings. Uninstall the application with link2sd. If you can not delete the application, you will have to install the stock rom.

Thanks , but after three dots -> i have option to uninstall OR convert to user app.
Under both i get the same error:
"Link2SD could not obtain root access.
Maybe as i formatted my phone, i am no longer rooted and hence the error.
Also, i tried disabling Kingroot from phones builtin "Applications manager" and yes it seems disappeared from my App list on phone, Is it safe to say its no longer working on my phone even in background ?

The application that you deactivated will not run again, but if it really was malware, it probably installed other malware applications. I recommend you to do a complete analysis with several antivirus programs starting with Dr. Web.

Grant root privilege to app not requesting it

Hi,
I've checked around and couldn't find anything that explains a way to give root access to an app that doesn't actually request it. I've rooted my phone with Magisk and also Magisk doesn't offer any way to grant root to any app you want.
The app does have some features that are enabled only when it has root privilege but somehow I can't make the app request the root privilege so I'm stuck on this.
Any help would be much appreciated.
