Black glitch when rotating screen - Redmi Note 9S / Note 9 Pro (Indian Model) Question

Does your device suffer from this issue? When you rotate the device on the left side there's a short black glitch for .5 second. Is it a hardware problem or a software one? It goes away after the screen has rotated

*bump*. Anyone has this issue? its urgent as i can get it replaced if its not normal on all phones

[Q] Sensor issues?

Hello there,
Recently I had my digitizer replaced and since then, I am having very weird thing with the screen turning off as soon as I am making a phone call. I thought it was a light sensor but in winmo it seems to be working fine, makes the screen brighter or darker depending on light. I hope I was able to explain what the problem is.
What could it be?

Doesn't that basically mean your proximity sensor is working correctly?
The proximity sensor turns off the screen during a call when it senses something close to the sensor.

Have you checked your battery contacts (pins) when the battery is removed? If they are bent, they could lead to weird screen/phone shut-downs.
Did you replace the digitizer by yourself? Or did you have someone else (like a professional) replace it for you? Something might have happened to the electrical wiring, or there might be some small piece of dirt/object that got stuck in front of the proximity sensor.
Best wishes -- I hope you get this resolved.
Hi,
Digitizer had been fitted by technician, I said the same to him that its some sort of physical issue causing the screen to go off whilst making a call. Bathe suggested its a software problem. However, if somebody came across with this sort of issue please let me know how to fix it.

I've been having this issue myself for a while now, after first installing the latest norwegian rom straight from htc, and now using the energy rom. I haven't had any hardware in the phone replaced tho.

Touchscreen problem anyone?

I'm not sure if this is a software or hardware problem, or maybe just the screen protector. Sometimes the area triggered isn't the one I touched. So if I touch the bottom of the screen, it will be recorded as the middle of the screen. Very annoying. This doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen often. It will go away if I just quit the current application.
Is anybody else experiencing this problem?

[Q] Xperia Z Ultra Screen Problem

Hi all,
A couple of months ago, some sort of a ghost image started to appear on at the bottom of the screen (I don't know if it's a hardware defect or a software related issue)!
However, few days ago that ghost image started to occupy a much larger screen real-estate, which is quit annoying especially if you are using the device in landscape mode!
I've already restored my device, refleshed but it didn't help!
So my guessing is it's a hardware problem (please refer to the images below)!
Could anyone please advice on this?
I would guess part of the ribbon for the LCD has come off

If so, does this require replacing the screen?? or is there any other way to fix it?

Lg v10 H960 Backlight

So today I encounter a problem about the backlight OF the Mainscreen.
So I tried the test code of LG, in the display test, I see some backlights(like 0.5mm of lights) of the mainscreen went off right under the front camera.
Anybody got this problem??
