Flashing stock roms in Unrooted Mi10 - Xiaomi Mi 10 Questions & Answers

Is there a way for flashing original stock roms(not custom stock roms) in Bootloader locked and Unrooted Mi 10? And if there is , wherefrom Original stock Miui12 rom for Indian version can be downloaded?

1 st ,there is no official stable or beta IN Miui12 roms..
U can try Chinese version...it supports English...
For that bootloader needs to be unlocked...and twrp is must...

[Q] Redmi 3 pro, prerooted?

Hi guys, i'm new to xiaomi
i've just received my redmi 3 pro from amazon, it has italian language and it's prerooted with installed supersu. The rom is 100% stock.
Is it normal that it's prerooted? Can this cause any problem with OTA?
EDIT: just checked i've "MIUI 7.4 by ManhIT" v. 6.5.12, anyone else with this rom?
You should install MIUI 8 v6.8.4, unlock bootloader and then root it by SuperSU package. Anyway I think after OTA update you will not have root.
But it's MIUI 8 v6.8.4 stable or still in development?
'cause i don't want to install a system with few bugs
It's not officially stable, but for me it's working very good.

no man.. unless you have fiddled with the partitions like installing twrp or non-MIUI rom, .. fastboot edl is the safest way. give it a shot
thank you
thx guyz flashed with edl succesfully

go to higher version recovery zip file from rooted miui 8

hi
i have miui 8 lolipop rooted and twrp. now i want go to miui 8 marshmallow with official recovery zip file. what can i do to not locking bootloader again and get rooted ?
if i change boot.img from new downloaded rom with kitchen that will work ? or needs do more other works ?
thanks
Why rush to Marshmallow?
But, if you want to flash it, there is a thread on MIUI forum for Marshmallow Kate ( bootloader unlock, TWRP and root ).
My suggestion would be to wait for a while, and see how the situation with MM works out. No need to rush. It's not that you REALLY NEED Marshmallow in your life.
And whats wrong with MM?
my china dev 6.11.3 is stable and smooth, also inbuilt root
you need cofface or ZCX twrp to flash official ROMs without patch.
also if you have official unlocked BL then you can unlock it as many times you want/need on dev rom.
i suggest china dev, china firmware is better imo and I have tried all 4 variants for kenzo.
you can also flash it through miflash with fastboot ROM, thats how I do it, I got bootloop few times when flashing recovery and I used cofface twrp...

For Downgrade

i have officially unlocked bootloader redmi note 3 sd on miui 8 global beta rom 7.1.5 marshmallow ,flashed twrp zcx, took a full nandroid backup( with out any modifications ).
Now I am on miui global beta 7.1.5 MM marshmallow and want the stable LP back .
Q .will downgrading from MM to LP cause any problem?
Q. can i flash custom rom base on lolipop with zcx recovery? like eu., multirom, epic older version
plese help me...

Help With Pie!!

Hi,
I'm currently using MiUi 10 latest Global stable Marshmallow. Device is Kenzo.
Is there any guide to upgrade to Pie(I'm thinking of pixel experience).I really need VoLTE so any firmware upgrade required or can i jst flash it.(wipe data, cache and flash).
Recovery is TWRP coface 3 installed 3 years ago i think (I lost touch with development). BL unlocked official way.
Thanks in Advance.

If u have already officially unlocked
Then update to latest twrp official 3.2.3
Format data must
Then Factory reset
Flash pie rom zip
Flash gappps zip
Reboot
U will get volte if u use Jio sim. No volte support for other sims
Thanks.
I'll try both of these methods.
