Orange State Warning Remover - Lenovo K8 Note ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other

Code:
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
This can be flashed to remove Orange State warning and 5 seconds wait time.
Tutorial from https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-31664.html was given to me by @chinmay888
Used Android Script Creator to pack it into a zip.
Additionally I needed to remove "=> device unlocked" message as it started popping up after I removed orange state warning and 5 seconds boot time
Just flash Warning_Remover.zip in custom recovery, the warning will be removed.
lk.img of OMB27.43-70 was taken to apply the changes. It is advised that you too are on the same version of stock, if you are a custom rom user make sure that you were on that version before flashing the rom.
If you want to revert back to the original lk.img, flash Stock_LK.zip
Don't Lock your bootloader after flashing Warning_Remover.zip it will brick your phone.

Bro, I was on stock OMB27.43-70 and just flashed Warning_Remover.zip using TWRP and it bricked my device. Can you please suggest something. I can only see LED blinking while connected to my PC rest is just black screen.

[Q] Need help to revert to stock state

Hello guys,
So i've flashed my phone with void rom via custom recovery by thunderG but then i noticed that my phone has a hardware problem ( short or definitive signal loss while in conversation). To use the warranty i must first bring my phone to a stock state, so i thought i should flash the original firmware via KDZ and reinstall the original recovery as described on another thread on xda ( can't find it now, but it basicly tells you to use Terminal Emulator and write a command that would install an original_recovery.img from the sdcard root then reboot).
I fired up KDZ and it finished the process without any hick-ups, but after reboot the phone shows the lg logo, then the stock lg logo animation with all the blue and magenta things happening and finally the "VOID loading modules" logo, at which point it gets stuck. For what is worth, the computer recognizes the phone when connected via the usb cable, because it plays the specific notification sound.
At this point i don't have any idea what to do next , so if anyone has any suggestions or better yet : a step by step minitutorial for bringing the phone back to a stock state allround i would be forever in debt. I think there are a lot of guys out there like me ( noobs android-wise, without any IT knowledge) that would be very grateful for such tutorial.

[Q] Could not upgrade from update.pkg

I have tried to follow the below link to upgrade my dell venue to 2.3.3. I have downloaded the 408 version and renamed it as update.pkg.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19968194&postcount=45
Until at step 13, I selected 'SW upgrade from update.pkg' in my phone but there is no response. no new screen prompt is coming out.
Now I even could not start up the phone..... would anyone could give me some advices on saving my phone, please?
Thank you.
Did you select
Code:
2. Software upgrade via Update.pkg on SD Card
from the menu with 4 entries or the one with about a dozen entries?
If you did from the long list you've bricked and there's no way to fix it.
Those two are entirely different things and all the latter one does is brick devices
The list has three choices
- factory reset
- sw upgrade from update.pkg
- power off
if i choose factory reset, it did reset the phone but it only shows the dell logo and without moving to another step......
in sw upgrade, no reaction....
is my phone bricked?
Thank you.
I cant recall if the menu had 3 or 4 entries on the V, but if you used the menu you mentioned you might still be ok as that's the safe one.
Try going into recovery mode without an sdcard inserted, if it loads up it might be choking up on your sdcard.
How to go to the recovery mode? you mean factory reset?
and how to solve the problem that it cannot load the upgrade.pkg in my sd card?
Thank you a lot for your help.
I have tried to upload the update.pkg to the sd card through the adb
D:\Downloads\Fastboot\Win32>adb push update.pkg /sdcard/update.pkg
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
error: device not found
what is the meaning of device not found? is it the source of error?
Thank you.
You can only use adb after android loaded
same problem - urgent
i am having the same problem! no response from phone when i select sw from update.pkg! pther options factory reset and power off works! help me out!

[Q] Helpppp bricked my phone I think >.>

I followed the instructions from Jamjet (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1889438) and everything was fine until I got to the wire trick. It just doesn't work for me, and the phone is stuck with the JuopunutBear on. I can't restore anything, it all goes to this screen. What do I do? Is there no other way to set the phone to s OFF? helppppp
* * * *
two hours later, I fixed it. I stripped three different wires @[email protected]
I see you worked through your problem, but for others that think they are stuck, you can recover from the backup the wire trick program made when you first ran it. Click on the link to troubleshooting and scroll down to ROM / Data Recovery.

So I already had unlocked bootloader and twrp 3.0.2-0 with a older rooted stock rom, followed steps 1-6, all three flashed 100% and it looked like it was booting fine until google logo appeared. Screen went black like the battery was pulled and now it seems like its hard bricked and cant get it to do anything. I have tried holding vol up + power, vol down + power, vol up plug in usb to my computer also vol down then usb and nothing happens, no vibration and pc doesn't detect my phone, adb reboot recovery error: no devices/emulators found. Time to buy a new phone?
If you're still under warranty you *can* ask for a warranty replacement, but if you don't tell them you bricked it, you're technically commiting fraud. I can't suggest that you commit fraud. You could use your insurance. If you're out of warranty, I think you should be able to jump. Don't know how a bricked phone influences that for sure, I know for normal damage like a broken screen, they make you get a replacement first.

I went to the t mobile store and told them I tried to do a software update and the phone stopped working and they said it is a common problem with LG devices and its under warranty so I got a refurbished one 2 days ago. Came with 20L, just rooted with the dirtycow method with magisk su, once I install xposed i'll be happy. Is 20L the latest version?

Fingerprint sensor lost after unbrick

Hi, long story short, I bricked my phone due to a mistake from my part trying to install TWRP. I was on version V12.0.3.0.RFQEUXM, I have magisk installed and thus no access to OTA update. I saw that the V12.0.5.0.RFQEUXM was out, so decided to update. Before that, I had the bad idea to say to myself that I would take a backup with TWRP, and kabaaaam, I probably made something stupid and bricked my phone.
Luckily, plugging it to my computer showed me that it was in EDL mode. And thanks to the stupidity of Xiaomi at the end of 2020 when they bricked phones with the Android 11 update, I came across the guide of @nullby to unbrick it. Maybe I should have looked at this into more details and only use it to reflash the boot, but I flashed everything.
I followed this guide, except that at the end instead of flashing the repacked service ROM, I directly flashed the V12.0.5.0.RFQEUXM.
Hooray, the phone is unbricked, I reflashed magisk and everything is back to normal. Almost everything I should say, as the fingerprint sensor is not active anymore. Nothing happens when I try to add a fingerprint, so I suppose that it is something like a driver fault. When using Droid Info, I also see no reference next to FOD.
So now, how to resolve this ? My best guess would be to flash the latest firmware found here. It's only 69Mb and by looking at what's in it, there are definitively things that are not included in the full fastboot rom. But before I try, I prefer to ask for some advice instead of bricking it again…
Also, seen my last experience with TWRP, may I flash it with FK Kernel manager instead ? I've never used it, but from what I read, it should work.
Any ideas or suggestions ?
Thanks a lot.
I'm replying to myself in case anyone has the same issue in the future:
Enter the phone dialer and enter the following code: * # * # 64663 # * # * then press on the 3 points above and go to FingerPrint_C.
Press on start, then it will ask to put "FLESH_FLAT" you need to put a white sheet on the fingerprint sensor, in daylight and launch the test.
then you will ask to put "BLACK_FLAT". then you put something black and opaque on the fingerprint sensor and launch the test. Putting the phone upside-down on a table also work.
If you have the "performance_test failed", try again.
When successful, restart the phone and enjoy the fingerprint again.
