Confusing ROM Versions on Redmi Note 9 Pro - Redmi Note 9S / Note 9 Pro (Indian Model) Question

Hey there!
I recently bought a new Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. It's a great Phone and I like using it. Today I saw that there should be MIUI 12 be available for EU Phones. As I bought mine in Germany I have QJZEUXM. Installed was 11.0.1.0 and it says no new updates even with receive early updates on. So I manually searched for a Update and saw there is already 11.0.3.0 so I updated it via recovery in my updater app. But now I can't even find any updates available for my phone..
Could someone explain me why I didn't even got the 11.0.3 ? Why did I need to manually update it? Could it be that I'm now no longer able to receive the MIUI 12 via OTA ?
Thanks in advance for every help!

Ota updates are never lolled out at all phones the same time, A lot of phones took the update automatically, if you had waited you would also received it, if someone don't want to wait updates manually.

Well, and the MIUI 12 ROMs are just in beta state and not rolled out for our phone OTA at this time.
For your phone with the EU ROM version in the title the 11.0.3 is the latest one to get OTA. Have the same version and 11.0.3 was the most actual one before I flashed the XIAOMI EU ROM manually... ?

since i have the same model QJZEUXM is that a CURTANA or JOYEUSE or EXCALIBUR.?

Curtana has the 48MP Cam, Joyeuse the 64MP Cam + NFC.

CPU-Z says for my device "board: joyeuse"

Xiaomi fvcked its branding by making confusing names. The only way to figure out what device are you having is thru the boardname/codename. "Curtana" RN9Pro India/Redmi Note 9S, "Joyeuse" RN9ProGlobal, "Excalibur" Redmi Note 9 Pro Max (which is only available in India).
If you are going to be long term Xiaomi user, you should get used to call your device by its "boardname", rather than its device model. This is to prevent accidental flashing or installing something that is not meant for the phone, for ex. You flashed a thing from Redmi Note 9 Pro India (Curtana) to Redmi Note 9 Pro Global (Joyeuse).
QJZ**** is Redmi Note 9 Pro Global "Joyeuse". We dont have MIUI12 yet. Redmi Note 9 Pro of India has received it recently, but it cant be used for Redmi Note 9 Pro Global because they are different.

[Q] Redmi 3 pro, prerooted? OTA when?

Hello all,
i just receveid my redmi 3 pro (eu version with preinstalled play store) from amazon
i have 3 questions:
- is it normal that it's prerooted? i see supersu it's installed by default
- does this preroot have influence over OTAs ? i've never received any os update yet
- when will be available android 6 for redmi 3 pro?
Even I need to know when MM is coming to redmi note 3. Also when is the official release of MIUI 8.
Coming to your question, Yes it 's pretty normal for vendors to install EU rom and have the phone rooted in regions where the phone is not officially available.

I would say that pre rooting a device before it is even shipped is far from 'normal'.

As per my knowledge, the Xiaomi phones are not officially sold in all regions. And usually vendors who import the phones from China install custom roms on the phone. This is purely on my reading of various articles on the web.

Is this a good version of the phone?

It claims its a global version ROM (sd625) and that it receives OTA updates .
Is it true? It has the exact specs of the 4X but its actually the regular Redmi note 4 global version

Redmi Note 4 Global is basicaly Redmi Note 4x with extended LTE band support (B4:1700 and B20:800)
Thank you. So assuming it comes with global rom there is not reason that this phone wont get OTA updates right?

What will happen to 4G in Redmi Note 3 in Indonesia after update MIUI 9?

So I'm from Indonesia and I'm very excited about MIUI 9 release. But as some of you already know that 4G in Indonesia in Redmi Note 3 is a bit tricky and that makes us use unofficial fix. I just wonder if this problem still persist after the update.
I'm new in here btw..

Updates & ROMs

Why xiaomi didn't update the Redmi Note 9s to MIUI 12 yet?
For instance, my old Redmi Note 7 already updated.
And why there aren't any really stable custom ROM for it yet? I remeber when i got both my Redmi Note 4x and my Redmi Note 7, their XDA forum already had plenty of options of Official Custom ROMs to choose and i am not seeing it with this phone.
I've also noticed that at least 2 ROMs had their support cancelled last month. Should we worry about those facts?
AOSP by sooti is stable enough for me.

Redmi Note 9S testing has not started and MIUI 12 will come in september for this device maybe.
Talking about custom ROMs the development for this device has just started and all custom ROMs will be available soon.
There is Unified AOSP builds are there for Curtana called "miatoll" builds. Try it.

Question Firmware for Redmi Note 10 (Sunny)

Hi,
Which firmware should I download and install for my Redmi Note 10 (Sunny) not Mojito? I know that Sunny is a global version and Mojito the Chinese version. But on the xiaomi download firmware site there is only Mojito mentioned https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/mojito/. I would not like to commit mistake choosing the wrong firmware. Do you have any experience at that point?
At all: should I do this if I have already installed the latest Havoc 4.9?
Sunny/Mojito is the same thing , Redmi Note 10 doesn't have a Chinese Version.
You should pick always the latest firmware but only if the developer/builder specifies it
Thanks!
