ODIN stuck when trying to flash AP to Samsung A10s (A107F) - Samsung Galaxy A10 Questions & Answers

Hello all I hope someone can help me out here?
I am trying to install Magisk on my Samsung A10S A107F device. I have got a stock set of firmware, which I have used with ODIN 3.14.1 to recover the phone after a couple of errors that I made during my learning process, so I know that ODIN and my stock F/W works. The stock F/W is Android 9.
Here's my problem, whenever I try to flash a Magisk patched AP to the device, ODIN stops at RQT_CLOSE!! and does nothing else. No success or failure, just stops there. I feel like it I am doing something obviously wrong but cannot figure it out. After around 5 minutes, it does timeout and then show a failure.
I've Magisk patched the whole AP file from stock and also extracted the boot.img only and patched a tar or that as well, but exactly the same result.
I've watched a number of videos on the process but can't see any difference.
Is there something security related that's being tripped in the Samsung F/W to prevent the new patched boot/AP flashing?
The OEM unlock option is on and greyed out in my phone's Developer Options menu.
After ODIN fails/stops, the phone can be restarted and is just the same as it was before.

Did you try another USB port or another USB Cable?
If yes, then try another ODIN version.
Final resolution is to try to flash from another PC or laptop.

Help unbricking my 4.0/YP-G1

Yeah so I had some terrible luck today. I was flashing a stock rom with odin, and then my USB cable attached to my player got caught on something, thus causing my phone to fly in the air and the battery to fall out. Basically, bottom line is that my battery was removed while flashing something in Odin.
Now every time I turn my player on I get a picture of a cell phone on the left, attached to a computer on the right with a giant caution sign in between them. I can't seem to boot into recovery or download mode. Odin doesn't seem to recognize my player either. I'm worried my player is bricked for good, but if anyone could help me prove otherwise, that would be amazing. Thank you.

Thanks for the response. It turns out Odin wasn't recognizing my device because my USB cable wasn't plugged in all the way (genius, I know).
I flashed the stock tar though, and now I'm getting a bootloop. And yes, I made sure not to re-partition.
This is the stock package I used: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41424020&postcount=384
Never mind. I got it! Thanks for the help, simple as it was.

The pics are too small to see, but the last post I read about this type of problem was internal memory failing.

So was it a standard boot, or did you do some modding first?

I tried to
-->ODIN Root66 stock VRALJB 4.1.1 12/2/12- ,voila,it
-->FAILED and I switched on the phone it was stuck in boot,
-->then I ODIN Official VRALJB 4.1.1 but it
-->failed at sboot.bin
and then Finally I tried to
-->ODIN Official VRAMC3 4.1.2 5/5/1 and it
-->PASS but when I switched on nothing happened,it's stuck in this situation. Bootlooped.
Then I went to recovery to factory reset but saw this.No such file exists etc etc.

I am thinking of trying this. Is that a good idea?
Good Idea, I would try and odin back to life as a last resort too.
Looks like the download links are all dead?
Might be able to find some files here. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=developers&did=77

KDZ/TOT Flashing Fails, Bricked due to bad 47A flash

Hello, I am trying to return to stock for Miitomo/Android Pay to work on my G3-VS985 from CM13 nightlies with the last LP radios and boostack of 35B
Essentially what happens on all flashing methods is it fails to install the mtp drivers, and fails to connect regardless of OS bitness and version (Win10x64 and Win7x32 tested) and does not change the COM number on the phone's screen,
on one of the flashes it deleted the bootloader flash partition, and i re-flashed it in TWRP3, alongside all the 47A partitions except system and recovery, blaming possibly dead partitions of previous flashes, in hope to fix the flash mode
and here i am, stuck on just 47A flash mode which doesnt seem to respond enough to flash a KDZ or TOT
in the flash mode's status box it states "VUSER B60"
How likely am i to get this back up and running? and if so, how would i go about this?
THIS HAS BEEN FIXED, BAD CABLE
Glad you solved your problem! In the future, please put questions in the Q&A section. I'll notify a mod to move it.
You can also edit the title of your thread in the Advanced edit view, and put "SOLVED" in the title.
Edit: Also, are you sure your HD2 is dead? Or just resting? (Sorry, Monty Python reference)

I got some good results with no-verity-opt-encrypt !
Installed TWRP and installed that file now it is booting up again so for the next one who got this problem just try it and maby you will succeed.
Now installing and going to check if i manage it to install official rom without TWRP
I manage to install other firware for G950F but at device info it still says G950FD (D for dual sim......) my pc shows it as normal F version (Single sim)
How can i fix this?

Try to repeat the procedure, sometimes it might happen that odin get stuk, restart odin and get back to the download screen on your phone, you should be able to try again. If it keeps happening it might be that is the wrong version for your phone, I would suggest searching the original firmware on SamMobile and use odin to install that back.
Hopefully this helps, I'm no expert, just run into similar problems recently
