[LG GPad v490] Unable to root/install Google Play (LineageOS) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello. I will begin with my root problem: I need to install newer (than stock 5.0.2) android on LG v490.
I installed the LineageOS (android 7.1.2), rooting with KingRoot -> using Flashify to boot into TWRP -> installed LineageOS.
During that whole process I was unable to boot to see bootloader (it was just normally booting) using adb. Now it also looks impossible.
Now I would like to install Google Play Store: downlaoded the package and the instructions says (because it's not just .apk file) to isntall this using TWRP. I cannot boot to TWRP. Last time (with stock ROM) i booted into TWRP using Flashify, but Flashify requires root from me. I am using Kingo Root, KingoRoot (and something else) both for Android and PC and every time it shows me "fail" or "Unable to root".
What can I do now in order to install Google Store?

@Morales1235
In order to install Google Play Store phone's Android must NOT got rooted.
You install it manually.
How-to:
Download from APKMIRROR these 4 APKs matching your phone's Android version:
Google Account Manager APK
Google Services Framework APK
Google Play Services APK
Google Play Store APK
Install the downloaded APKs in exact this order
Google Account Manager APK → Google Services Framework APK → Google Play Services APK → Google Play Store APK
to get the Google Play Store working correctly.
Finally re-boot

Thank you! Let's see, but...
How can I know which version of Google Play Services is proper for my android version? This is the only APK that has different numbering than android.
@edit
Ok, I downlaoded the latest version of Google Play Services for android 6.0+. After installation in given order constantly I get error that Google Services Framework stopped working. Wrong version or what?

Read here.

Buttons for clearing data and cache for Google Play Services are unavailable :/ Tried to just force stop Google Play Services and proceed with the others (as says in the link provided) but after reboot and running store I am still getting this error. No help in comments in provided article.

Anyone knows which version of "Google Play Services" (and then Google Play Store) should I choose for Lineage OS 7.1.2? I Suppose Play services keeps stopping because of wrong version.

You mix up Google Play Services and Google Services Framework: these are 2 different things!
Google Services Framework is used to update Google apps and apps from Google Play Store. This component provides core functionality like authentication to your Google services, synchronized contacts, access to all the latest user privacy settings, and higher quality, lower-powered location based services.
The required version of Google Services Framework depends on phone's model and Android version.

1. Acc manager: I found version 7.1.2
2. Services Framework: found version 7.1.2
3. Play Services: Numeration is different than android version! (eg. 20.26.14)
4. Play Store: Numeration is different than android version! (different numbers than above)
How should I determine which version of Services and Store I need to install?

@Morales1235
You still don't get it. :crying:

Hence the Google Services Framework ( GSF ) you installed is not compatible!
FYI: The Google Play Services ( GMS) contains the individual Google services and runs as a background service in the Android OS.
BTW: I no longer participate this thread. Have a nice day.

google services framework installation

I tried to install google play using this tutorial: patchworkoftips.com/install-google-play-store-unsupported-android-phones/1624/ (my device is a jxd p200 and not supported). It worked but I also needed google play services. When I tried installing that is said: google play services incompatible with other applications using the same shared user id.
So I read somewhere that I need to delete google services framework, install google play services and reinstall google services framework.
But I coudn't reinstall that, it just says: not installed.
So now I am stuck with a not working play store and I still cant install google play services or google services framework.
What should I do?
(my device is already rooted, and I googled the problem but coudn't really find a solution.)

Update Google Services

Can I update the google services? Lots of apps I want to use require the google services to be updated.
A lot of Google apps scream that they want the latest Google Play Services (GpS), but in reality will function with any version of GpS, and sometimes even without any GpS at all (just a dummy one), see this thread : http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=550506
In reality, just install these versions of google stuff as per instructions into /system/priv-app :
Google Account Manager 4.4.4
Google Play Services (GMS) 7.0.99
Google Play Store 5.5.12
Google Services Framework 4.4.4
And create /system/app/com.google.android.gms-1.apk folder to block GpS from updating.
Whatever app cannot work without the latest GpS for real, just find an older version of it, install it into /system/priv-app, and create an appropriate folder in /system/app (as above) in order to block the updates for this specific app.

Could be worse, could be CHINESE
Anyway, there is not much to it, other than people disabling GpS via that dummy app and then trying different gapps to see if they work.

Android Device does not support Google Play Services.

I'm using Samsung Galaxy Trend 3 SM-G3502U, having android of version 4.2.2
Since this is a Chinese device, so it was normal to be shipped without GApps. So, I tried to to install the latest version among the versions which are compatible with Android 4.2.2 of the following apps from APKMirror:
Google Play Services
Google Play Services Framework
Google Calendar Sync
Google Contacts Sync
Google Account Manager
Still, no luck, since when I tried logging into Snapchat, a pop-up "popped" out, saying that google play services is not supported by my device.
Also, when I installed and opened the latest version of Play Store among the compatible versions for Android 4.4.2 from APKMirror, it showed "Error retrieving information from server RH-01" which meant that I didn't have the compatible GApps installed.
Now, are there anymore ways to try out for me so that my phone supports Google Services Framework, or I am left out with installing a custom ROM?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!!
And wait, there is one more information I can give you if you find it useful.
Having all the apps listed above installed, I installed the "Device ID" app by Evozi. It couldn't show me the GSF. The space for that was left out empty instead.

An Android device must NOT be rooted to install Google Play Store on it. Use Google Installer v3 to install Google Play Store. The Google Installer v3 comes as an APK which you can directly download and install on your device. Fortunately, this app doesn’t void warranty as it isn’t performing root or modifying the system files. Once the Google apps have been installed, you can uninstall this app.

So when the Google Services Framework keeps stopping then you know there is something wrong with one of the Google Apps you have installed on your phone. Either Google Services Framework, Google Play Services or Google PlayStore. Picking out the particular app responsible might be tasking so it might be best to just clear the data and cache of ALL three apps and also remove or log out of your Google Account and log back in and finally re-boot device.

Install the downloaded APKs in exact this order

Waiting for Anyone give me how to install it.
I'm also waiting for a solution. The closest for me was the below.
pixelstech.net/article/1580640179-Install-Google-services-on-Huawei-MatePad
The API which lz would intercept is no longer present on our devices. Currently there is absolutely no way to get Google services working. You can only get Vance YouTube which spoofs a Google API and allows you to log in to YouTube only.
Hi. Has anyone somehow managed to install google play services on the matepad 10.4? I can't believe there is no way to do it. Does anyone know if the google apps can be installed even though the google play store? I have seen out there that there are people who install virtual environments but I do not know if that will slow down.

Tried the virtual environment - it's not so good. I could not rotate the screen to watch Youtube in Landscape/Full screen.
I have tried numerous method, in the end, it is always the Chinese backup software not recognizing the Matepad that fails.
I've tried this method as well: pixelstech.net/article/1580640179-Install-Google-services-on-Huawei-MatePad still the same outcome. I have already downgraded my firmware in order to use Googlefier, but it is always this application that cannot work.

Googlefier - Install GMS on Huawei/Honor
Wecome to Googlefier, After a successful tool for LG G2 and LG G3 owners (AutoRec), but after a long pause, here is something new and I hope useful Googlefier is a simple tool, designed to help you install GMS on your Huawei/Honor device...
forum.xda-developers.com
How far is it, I have no idea. I have tried numerous methods, they always fail on this LZPlay. As long as this app prompted an error, then most likely you'll never succeed.
Hi guys hopefully there is a better solution I've found last night tinkering trying so many different methods. My matepad 10.4 is brand new factory sealed and just to make sure I hard reset it when I opened the box.
So was on the first firmware ending in .118
Tried using benders method but can't make Lzplay app to activate or even load past the error screen in chineese saying device not supported.
Only working methods I've found is to download an environment like vmos pro, dual space and gspace. I'm currently using gspace downloaded from the app gallery still on .118 firmware and no updates done on any apps.
Someone mentioned to download both gspace and gspace32. They work but the play store icon disappears. So I've left a few apps I don't want like WhatsApp on the tablet etc so when I click that, I press back on top left arrow inside playstore, then can browse the store. The play store icon disappears, but can still browse if you click any app inside gspace but never install that app. Obviously this is like second space and I'm not using my main Gmail account through the gspace app.
So hopefully a more robust way of using play store will become available instead of a virtual environment.
Is there any update?
Nope.... this tablet appears to be an impossible device to get Google on to.
This is the first time I've gotten an Android device that I could never figure out how to get the Play Store working on...
Is it possible to re-flash this device with another version of android?
Unfortunately Android without the Play Store is quite difficult.
I think there's currently no way to install natively GMS because since Googlefier doesn't support anything over 10.1.0.150 and that the Matepad 10.4 doesn't have any ROM that is under that version so I hope that maybe someone could find a way to install GMS with > EMUI 10.1.0.150
