Adds a configurable Energy Notch around the camera notch indicating current Battery level. Dive into the various configuration options, not only you can quickly glance and get the battery info but, Energy Notch adds an accent to your phone's camera notch.
Got a full charge? The Notch will be wrapping the entire curve of your notch like an arc.
Battery depleting? So will the arc of Energy Notch.
Out of the box features:-
✓ Energy Notch can be configured from a width of 1 pixel to a donut thick ring
✓ Energy Notch puts almost 0% load on CPU, as it wakes up only to reflect any change in battery level
✓ Energy Notch direction can be configured as left/center/right
✓ Energy Notch can hide on fullscreen content (apps, videos, images, games etc)
✓ Energy Notch can be configured to change colors automatically depending on the live battery level
✓ Energy Notch could have a mono color/multiple color segments/gradient (pro)
✓ You can literally assign any color in the world for your favorite configuration
✓ Energy Notch has a number of cool animations whenever a power source is plugged into your device
All that is cool! But what about Energy Notch consuming Battery?!
This is one of the most exciting question for me to answer. Energy Notch more than anything understands that you need to utilize your battery efficiently (after all, that's why you installed the App, right? .) Energy Notch sits on the screen silently putting almost 0% load on CPU, if battery level changes, Android wakes up Energy Notch. Once awake, Energy Notch quickly updates itself and goes back to sleep. And to be that extra efficient, the Notch goes on deep sleep when you turn off the screen, meaning it doesn't even read changes in battery level when the screen is off.
Accessibility Service Requirement:
Android requires Energy Notch to run as an Accessibility Service, to be able to display on Lock Screen. It does not read/monitor any data, whatsoever. This is especially useful for people who have disability to read numbers and work better with visual data.

I downloaded the appropriate version and then installed it. I set it up according to the wizard and it's done. Works well with OxygenOS 10.3.4.
So you can shut up.

Where does it say that? Can't find any information on android version.
And yes, android 8.1 because I didn't like pie and wanted xposed running. Never tried 10 but I'm fine with oreo because everything works like expected.

Aham. For everyone works with android 10 (10.3.3, 10.3.4), just not for you. And the error message is not compatible...So, just think...
Anyway, developers are no longer paying attention to being backward compatible with outdated android version (new programs)

I am fine with that but there should be at least a note for the minimum android version.
I am also running a samsung galaxy from work and it is a newer device and it is also on oreo and I can't do sh** to update that device. This is android... Google is not able, willing or just to damn stupid to implement a proper update system. We all know that, so there should be a small 10+ in the xda thread because we are able to read more than two sentences.
Edit: I would be thankful if someone would upload the apk because I could test and give feedback.
Edit 2: Nevermind, I found an alternative here on xda that is working on your so called outdated android version.

[UMIDIGI F1] Android P customizations, dark theme, gesture navigation

The Umidigi F1 is supposed to come with stock Android P; however, it seems that some features have been removed or disabled.
I can't find how to enable the Android P Dark Theme.
I can't figure out how to enable full screen gesture navigation or how to swap the back and recents buttons in the navbar.
I'm sure there are other things as well.
Can I use adb to enable those settings?
Is there some other way to re-enable these basic Android P features?
Swapping the back and recents buttons are in the Smart Assistant option in Settings. There you can also find the Umidigi version of navigation gestures.
As for Dark Theme, I have no idea, myself. The option's for sure not there by default.
I'm hopeful that someone will develop some custom roms for it, myself. The stock rom is not as smooth as I know vanilla Android is, and you can't turn on the battery % on the notification bar. Screen size is not adjustable, either.

I've randomly experienced a kind of dark mode in the notifications and volume control but can't consistently replicate it. It seems to be triggered by a dark wall paper. I have a dark wall paper and have dark volume control, but pull down notifications/menu are still white.
Download a cool little app called Powershade from the store. You can style your notifications/menu to whatever you like. You'll need to enable Powershade in Duraspeed to prevent it being stopped.
The stock Pie pill gesture isn't there, only 'slippy' gestures which constantly kick you back the home screen when typing (aka Sloppy gestures). This could easily be fixed by reducing the active area to one pixel, it currently sits over the space bar.
That, along with:
- Not supporting launchers
- Issues with photos being completely messed up (masses of low resolution duplicates)
- Constantly backward facing GPS indicator
- Unable to send images via whatsapp
- Power and earphones plugged in creates unbearable interference
...have made this phone unusable for me. Updates are too slow to depend on them and have so far just caused even more issues. Its such a shame, it could have been a great value for money phone, but turned out to be too good to be true.
I'm returning mine to Amazon. For a few pounds more I can get something I'm not constantly battling with.
Took this from an Umidigi forum, it works
:As for quickstep issue, all you guys have to do is to remove the package and it'll work flawlessly, even with custom launchers(I'm using Nova).
This is only temporarily until you factory reset OR OTA update the device.
1) Download minimal adb fastboot package from here: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962187416754459552
2) Go to Settings > System > About Phone and tap on "build number" about 8 times. You should see a message saying: "You are a developer now"
3) Back to the previous menu and you should see now a new item called "Developer options", go there, find and enable "USB debugging".
4) Now connect the phone to the PC via USB and select "Transfer files" on the phone.
5) Open a command line and go to the directory you extracted the adb tools to.
6) Run the command "adb devices", your device should shown. If not, you need to check the drivers.
7) Run "adb shell"
8) Run "pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.launcher3". It should show "success".
9) Reboot the device and you will be able to multitask until either factory reset OR update.
I just got two of these yesterday. Getting mine setup this morning. I have no problem with the phone charging through USB and playing music out my headphones- the audio is perfectly clear. I also installed whatsapp and had no problems sending a photo to a friend, and she got it. I see my gps on google maps just fine and it seems to work as intended. I've not tried any other launchers, yet, but I REALLY like this phone for the price point. Sad there isn't more activity on here from folks who have them.

That would be pretty nice to have, but I think phones that support DT2W have to have hardware support for sensing the taps while off like most LG and HTC phones have. I'm using Glimpse notifications to get the screen wake for notifications like every phone should already have stock Yes, even though it's not AMOLED, it's got a 5150 mah battery FFS! 5 seconds of screen on a few times a day won't cost anything noticeable. And it hasn't either for 2 weeks I've been using it.
I too wonder if they'll ever get any kind of theming going though. That would sure be nice!

I have just installed it and I did not encounter that issue. I had Google Play Store open, moved the phone to landscape and back and the ring moved with the whole app but bounced back to the camera punchhole.
My question is, what about the display burning in? I know that it only works when the screen is on but this question might fall from other and this is why I have asked.

Since, the phone's screen is likely to be off the majority of time, would like to avoid any potential unforeseeable issue with screen burn-ins. So yes, wouldn't like to add such a feature for now.

Hi! Please refer to the notes added to the bottom of App's listing on Play Store in specific.
Another suggestion - can you make little 12 6 3 9 ticks on the Ring Origin so its easier to get the 12 position. It's minor but might be a nice touch to have these ticks for reference.
Is it possible it only make it show up when charging and not all the time?? Thank you.

Everything looks fine to me from the details, Energy Ring should align well on your device as well just like it does for others. Please verify that you have downloaded the App from the link in the first post. If you still face issue, please share me your Telegram/Skype ID via pm, I will send you special version to debug the issue, cheers!
Hi - Yes I did download the app from the link. Don't send me the debug version - I don't use Skype or Telegram and, to be honest, I am still finding the limits of the phone without adding more apps (one or two things I need OnePlus to investigate and fix).

Does this not cause burn in on the oneplus 8?

Hi,
nice apps, it works even if I had in the beginning problems to find the button for activating .
One question about the colors. I tried to use white (FFFFFF) but one thing it is hard to activate because a kind of frame around the color is missing to activate it and second it seems that the other icons in the status bar use a different white. Does anybody know the hex code of the white code which google uses in the status bar?
I wander how this would work along aod notify app ...... Has anyone tested them together ?

✓ Energy Ring's direction can be configured as clockwise/bidirectional/anti-clockwise
✓ Energy Ring can hide on fullscreen content (apps, videos, images, games etc)
✓ Energy Ring can be configured to change colors automatically depending on the live battery level
✓ Energy Ring could have a mono color/multiple color segments/gradient (pro)
✓ You can literally assign any color in the world for your favorite configuration
✓ Energy Ring has a number of cool animations whenever a power source is plugged into your device
The App in action on a Galaxy Z Flip, Fold 3, Pixel 5a: (Looking for photos of your device, please attach them!)
All that is cool! But what about Energy Ring consuming Battery?!
This is one of the most exciting question for me to answer. Energy Ring more than anything understands that you need to utilize your battery efficiently (after all, that's why you installed the App, right? .) Energy Ring sits on the screen silently putting almost 0% load on CPU, if battery level changes, Android wakes up Energy Ring. Once awake, Energy Ring quickly updates itself and goes back to sleep. And to be that extra efficient, the Ring goes on deep sleep when you turn off the screen, meaning it doesn't even read changes in battery level when the screen is off.
Accessibility Service Requirement:
Android requires Energy Ring to run as an Accessibility Service, to be able to display on Lock Screen. It does not read/monitor any data, whatsoever. This is especially useful for people who have disability to read numbers and work better with visual data.
Download now from Google Play Store! And if you like, please leave a rating.
Can't seem to download this on Google play store, it's taking forever, I want to try out this app.
for some reason the ring is not aligned around the punchhole cam of my 9s. its thicker in the top of the circle and thin on the bottom
It's not quite alligned correctly. Is there anyway to manually reallign it??
Thanks.
Great idea for an app and great execution! :good:
However, I too have the same issue as the guys above. It's misaligned on my Note 9s/curtana.
Made THIS video to show it better, it's very evident at 1 pixel thickness.
Only installed it a few minutes ago but it's a nice idea and looks to be working as described.
I also had another issue. Let the app stay overnight but just now I noticed it wasn't working. It was enabled in accessibility options but for some reason the ring wasn't on and the app was telling me I did not enable it.
After I forced closed it and opened it again it started working. Phone is brand new and I haven't done any meddling with it.
Great app. No battery drain but the position is bad. It is slightly above the punch hole. Hope to get fix soon. Thanks
Working perfect, love this

Hi!
Thank you for your interest, I am looking for testers to calibrate Energy Ring for this device.
What would consider an ideal tester:
#1 Have sufficient free time, say at least 30 minutes.
#2 Have a hell lot of patience, the calibration takes some time, might be frustrated in adjusting the sliders by pixels.
#3 Have another phone/camera to take a physical photo (not screenshot) of your phone.
If you meet the above requirements, please share me your Telegram/Skype ID.
Cheers!

Yes, but no telegram/Skype here, are you ok with email/zoom/hangouts?
New version from today is much better, thanks!
(But it seems to me that the center should be one pixel lower? Maybe it's just parallax)

Use this guyz untill he fixes the issue
Working on crDroid with Sphinx Kernel.

Nice app.
Would be nice to have a function to disable the stock battery indicator from miui 11.
it says not compatible, I´m on Corvus rom
Evolution X (Android 10): Playstore shows it doesn't support. Someone please upload the apk
After Last charging option ‚left‘ isn‘t working any more. Only center and right. Choosing left is using right side orientation.
Please fix @jagan2
Thanks
MIUI 11, 11.0.9.0, works fine Thanks
says turn on energy notch in accessibility settings......its not even there !. miui 11.0.5.0 .
edit: found the option and now its working but it would have been nice if it worked with screen off to get a rough idea about battery status.
Pls give download link
You can find it guys thru apk mirror, because Google doesn't detects it as compatible.
Tried it on Global Stable 11.5, works perfectly..
@jagan2 The people on some AOSP ROMs complain about "not compatible" because the device name/fingerprint on their ROMs is that of a Pixel device (ex. Corvus, Pixel Experience, etc).
User side fix: Change your fingerprint to Poco fingerprint. Warning: may break pixel extras. You can do so with a Magisk module.
Dev side fix: Add Pixel fingerprint/device to allowed devices in Google Play and specify it is to run Pixel Experience ROMs but still needs to be run on Poco to work properly. To be clearer, you can rename it or put info in description so people would read it.
For the lazy ones who don't want to search in apk mirror, here's the apk latest version EN1.2
