I couldnt use them after unlocking bootloader. Didnt have time to find out why

So, how's your experience with using Google Pay NFC after unlocking bootloader?
Does it work, do you use Magisk Hide and some extra modules? Any problems with SafetyNet?

Honor 10 & Google Pay

Hello folks,
Did anyone besides me try to get Google Pay (and its "payment in stores"-feature - NFC Payment) to work?
The bank/card I'm using supports Google Pay but as soon as I'm finishing the adding procedure of the card, there's a notification saying I won't be able to pay with it in stores.
Now after I've talked to my bank's support and Google Pay support (who give cryptic answers though) it seems like the Google Pay App just doesn't want to work with the Honor 10.
Which is why I would like to know if there is someone who got GPay to work in their Honor 10.
Thanks in advance for suggestions or sharing experiences!

Check for playstore certification .
If its uncertified its the issue.
On my Honor 10 it works perfectly even with Magisk installed.
In some reviews I heard that in the Chinese version (6gb ram) Gpay did not work.
If you have chinese version - you have answer.

Wow okay, thanks for the answer! Which Google Wallet App did you use though, I thought it was substituted by Google Pay?

There should be a default "wallet" app that comes with the phone, when opening it it shows up as "google wallet". However i did notice that when trying to search for it on the play store it doesnt come up.....maybe your right and it was substituted, but i know the "wallet" app came with the phone.
If you havent uninstalled it, then launch that and give it a try, if you have already uninstalled it then i'm not sure what options we have available.

Hey, thanks again.
The only Wallet app that was on my Phone is the Huawei Wallet – which doesn't work for me (in Germany as it seems). I can't add anything there, it'll give me an error instead.
Also, could you maybe describe what exactly didn't work for you before and what does work now?
And do you have the COL-AL10 as well? (mine is the 64gb / 6gb China version – there is no 6gb global version, is there?)
I was now able to add the card to Google Pay successfully so it even shows the card in the Payment ("Zahlung") Tab in the App.
But I still can't get the contactless payment to work. It always says it "Wasn't possible to configure the card for contactless payment in stores".

Mine is the COL-TL10. (6gb 128gb version)
The way the issue would occur for me is, i would go click on google pay, and it would just keep trying to load.....forever, one time i managed to get in then as soon as i tried to add a card it crashed again.
But as mentioned this was all fixed after opening that wallet app (i assume the first launch of it installed something in the background that prevented the crash), how google pay loads up and works perfectly.
It seems we have different phone versions, perhaps that could be why there is the difference with the wallets.
Sorry i couldn't have been of more help
I am having this issue as well on my honor 10 from China
reset to factory your phone, and install these gapps, one by one. SKIP GMS-ONLY INSTALL GMS IF YOU ENCOUNTER GMS ERROR.

Okay, thank you.
Have you personally had this issue and fixed it this way?
No, but i have this package installed and i have no problem with payment and google play is certified.
Do you have COL-AL10(C00)?

Yes I do have that version of the honor. Okay I will give it a try. I am not very savvy. I just don't know how to find those files once I factory reset.

1.reset
2. remove all chinese bloatware
3. get the archive form above, unrar, put them on the phone via usb and install. Skip the GMS.

Phone tells that I have a newer version of Google Services Framework. I didn't find this app. So now there are 2 apps that I couldn't install - gms and Google Services Framework. What should I do?
Install the rest of them, and all should be good. Did you reset?

Yes. Reset - delete chinese apps - install gapps. But Google Services Framework is unable to install. Didn't install gms. After that I tried to add bank card in Google pay - and the card is unable to be added into Google pay.

Google Pay doesn't work after removing stock Apps from MIUI

Hi all...I have a little big problem...
Yesterday I started to remove the applications that come by default in MIUI and can not be uninstalled...I did it using MTKdroidTools. The fact is that I started to delete Apps like a crazy man and now I find a problem...I do not know what I uninstalled and what not, but now Google Pay does not work for me. The App is apparently perfect, but when I try to pay it's as if it doesn't work. It's not NFC because I try with other App Bank and I can make payments, but with Google Pay (in which I have another card) does not work. It's as if it didn't detect that the mobile wants to pay.
Do you have any idea what service or app I could uninstall that doesn't work?
The truth is that I don't have the slightest idea what it might have been...
I suppose that if I don't find a solution I will have to restore the phone from the factory...I hope that way all the services and default applications will be reinstalled. I don't have my phone rooted and the bootloader is lock.
Greetings and thanks.

How to enable Google Assistant on phones with lower resolutions

As you know, Google rolled Assistant for more Android phones but the limitations on resolution are still there (>720p)
Is there any way I can enable it on my 540p phone? it's rooted (Magisk enabled)
Thanks in advance.

Do you mean Open GApps? How does it differ?
To be clear I can install Assistant from the Play Store but when I launch it says you don't meet the requirements.

Yep I mean that
Well it try to install Google apps by force on your device

If I find any other way I should tell you
But ask your Dev or other people at your own mobile froums too
