been using my p40 pro for few weeks now but noticed theres a good few banking apps but barclays isnt there, i also use santander but it doesnt seem to have an app, just directs me too the website? how do i go about using barclays and is there an actual app for santander?

as it stands Barclays I know doesn't work BUT I have the hotlink for it, so It does the job! I have been in touch with Barclays and expressed my concerns however they've said that they are currently looking at getting it to work! so I recon it wont be much longer - Santander I have no idea about!
Pretty sure I remember seeing you can PhoneClone Santander somewhere!
Yeah doing a hot link will be your best bet atm But hopefully, moving on hopefully they work on something soon.

yup Phone clone and then for Barclays use website.
On a more positive and hopeful not - I saw a NatWest Twitter comment saying they were in talks with Huawei to try and get their app functional.

I have a friend with a p40 pro no GMS sideloaded and some how he has NatWest working via the app & I cant work out how!?

That is because you have to be in the UK. Also even if you do have /get the app it checks your ISP before use. If your after UK TV you would probably have to use a torrent .

Someone could use root uninstaller, it retrieves all apks and creates a back up folder.

It nothing to do with root, my TP is obviously rooted and I can DL and use the app because I'm in the UK. So unless you know of a way to Both spoof your country and ISP its not going to work for you ,also the title of this thread specifically says UK Only.

For CM11 you'd probably have to message their team and see I'd they can help us out. I'm sure the version of KK that's released for the Chinese version of this phone could be ported but it seems like nobody can or is interested in doing it. Sadly it just seems like there's no development for this thing at all

Because none of us are developers or know what to do. If I knew how to port a ROM, I'd get CM11 on here ASAP, trust me.

Personally I don't see us getting KK for this device. That would be ridiculous but if they can openly post on their website that other variations of the device are getting it but will not confirm we are then I'm thinking we wont. Hopefully some of the Devs who got these things at the event can port something for us from the Mate 7 or another variation of the Mate 2

That would be really dumb if all their other phones are getting updated except the one phone they sell here. I hope they recognize this.
That being said, I wonder why they just gave out 15 of these to developers. No other company would do that lol. Their Google Plus page even said "custom ROMs are right around the corner" or something like that. Maybe we'll get an official custom ROM, like the One Plus One with its custom CyanogenMod?
Of course I'm just speculating haha, only time will tell.

Doesn't matter to me. GOING IN, I figured from the past look at Huawei, they provided little to no updates to their devices.
So, going in, I knew it wasn't going to get KK. Don't really care! JB4.3 has been ROCK SOLID with no lockups, lags, problems

I got it from at&t for free actually. I had to add a line and just casually asked if their are any deals running atm.. turns out If I "pre-ordered" the phone with a new contract..it'll be free. I received it 2 days after in the mail.

Seems quite smooth from the bit I used it yesterday setting everything up.... But I refuse to use it outside my house until my case gets here tomorrow. It is BY FAR, the most slippery phone I've ever used. Ha

I think you don't have any problems. I use i italy google pay and the app of my bank in italy. You can have a problem, maybe, with a rooted phone.

You won't get Android Auto to work. All the rest you will overcome with tweaks in this forum.
