Hi
I have a Dual SIM THL W8 phone and i use the second SIM only for 3G Data.
since the phone runs low on battery very fast, so when I'm at home and tunning on WIFI, i'll like the second SIM to be disabled automatically.
Is therre any way to solve this problem?

I have jio sim. I used it in redmi 2 first, it was working fine.
Now that i have put the sim in my honor 5x it shows signal but internet is not working. I tried the same sim in oneplus two and it was again working fine.
Can anybody tell me what should i do to make it work?

Remove both sims, turn it off, place jio sim and turn it on. Make sure LTE mode is on for the sim.
Go to mobile networks, and choose accesspoints, select loop or jionet if seen.
If list is empty, click menu, create, name it jionet in first to items, click save. and select it. see if it helps.
Mine was having trouble, so i flashed Krexus rom, it's connecting now.

i flashed cm13 and it is working now. but i wonder whats wrong with emui?
and can you suggest me any app that kills all background task on screen lock?
jio sim is working fine,
no volte though

Which model of Honor 5X are you using ?
Indian Model (KIW-L22) Supports Jio sim. Other country models might support Jio sim if it is configured for Band 3 (1800Mhz), Band 5 (850Mhz), Band 40 (2300Mhz).
Mine is L24, it supports Bands 3 n 5.. i got JIO signal too but No LTE data even after creating APNs with EMUI. Only after changing to CM/Krexus, data started working. Tried APN jionet and www none worked even after restarts.

You should contact JIO customer support if the issue persists.
I have KIW-L23 which supports only Band 3. Still I get LTE data after setting up the APN as jionet
dont worry, this happened to me too, just do this,,
remove sim card,
make sure you insert jio in sim 1
reboot
and this is important "SELECT DEFAULT SIM CARD FOR DATA" in settings
reboot,
you should be all set now,
For me, somehow Jionet apn did not work.. apn www worked fine.
Have few queries.
In Settings -> Dual SIM settings
Have you set the 4G/3G slot to the JIO SIM slot?
Have you set JIO SIM slot as default for mobile data?

are you on lineageOS ROM?
Recently i flashed the resurrection remix 5.5.9 on my s3 neo
Everything is great and i really love this rom but the only bug i really hate is the sim2 bug
I have 2 sims one is for calls and the other is for 3g
When i put the calling sim in slot2 its stock on the same ringtone and i tried every possible way to fix it but nothing works
And when i put the 3g sim in slot 2 the data goes automatically to sim in slot1 which i put it there to get my ringtone back
And when i go to sitting to select sim2 for data its back to sim1
The only way i could solve this is to turn off my phone and put the 3g sim alone and turn it on then turn it off again and put the calling sim and turn it on
But every reboot the problem back and sim1 take the data
If there any fix for this please replay soon
Suddenly since yesterday, my calling function of my JIO sim is not working in my phone. Same sim works perfectly in other phone. Other jio sim does not work in my phone. Other operators sim is working in my phone. Any help ?
Also, internet and SMS are working fine. If someone else tries to call me, he gets notification that my phone is switched off.
In JIO sim, menu to change network preference is also jot appearing

Change your SIM..this happens all of a sudden sim stops working in one Phone but works in other Phone.
My jio sim keeps on disconnecting. The service goes and when i restart, the network comes back but again suddenly after sometime goes off. This keeps on repeating.
Anyone please help me.
