How Does This Work?? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I wasn't sure where to post this question. Is there a way to use my Miracast and surf the web on my phone at the same time? Thanks for your help.

@djd616
If your Android version supports screen casting then I guess YES.

How Does This Work
Thanks for getting back to me. Do you know how I would go about doing this? Hope it doesn't sound too stupid.

yes you can transfer files from your computer to your xda2 via its "stand"
you can use resco file explorer to send files via bluetooth.
you can use Windows Media 10 to play in landscape mode.
the "MAC type" scheme your refering to can be achieve through Wisbar Advance 2
thanks sir alphatrion for that walkthrough ill be searching to study more about it, thanks.
yes sir salaryman, that is also one of the reasons i came here (because of the advanced members knowledge and its courteousness enough to answer any given querry) im still adjusting to using the net and your forum, im also doing some searching, no need to rub it in. thank you for your time.

Media Player Bluetooth issue

Is there a way to make it so when I am using my bluetooth headphones with the remote when I skip a song or hit play or stop the screen on my device does not come on and media player does not pop up? This is especial annoying as I listen to music almost constantly. Thank you for any help I have googled this issue and found no solution.
You should do a little more research!
This was answered very recently in another thread.
Where
I have searched if it was answered in another thread I can not find it. Please provide a link. It is arrogant to point out another persons ignorance and not show them how to fix it. Not to mention rude.
Also if you are referring to the two posts saying to use Mortplayer that is not an option as I use SPB Mobile shell.

So you took the time to point that out without pointing the person in the right direction.
I hope next time you need help and can't find your answer someone tells you to GTFO and find it yourself.
Are you sure?

So I ask again prove your work. It is easy to say you found it in another thread and claim superiority however you have shown nothing to indicate you are correct. I have looked and can not find a real solution only threads saying use something else. So...If you realy found it I as you to pleas share the answer if not do not put on airs.
Try this thread for the fix.

I still want to use windows media player I just do not want it to turn on screen or bring it to the front when I use the remote. This completely removes media player control.

I am interested in this fix as well. I am using a SENSE build -- The Standard builds seem to have these controls working correctly with the touch flo music interface...but I am not willing to go back to the regular touch flo when the Sense touch flo build has so much more to offer!

When is the release-date for xBound or any other news regarding xBound?

Hi!
I ask this here as I'm unable to find the homepage for the xBound, if someone has the right link to it, please post it.
And I'm also wondering if someone have heard of any other release-date or if anyone has been able to hear something about the project in whole?
And for those who don't know what xBound is:
It's a Android mirroring-device that send audio/video and mirror it to the the TV through Wi-Fi to a reciever wich then sends it into the TV using HDMI.
Youtube-video:

Thanks in advance for answers.
Best regards RazerBlader.

Try Googling "xbounds" instead of "xbound". I would also like to know what happened to this; they were saying it would be released by q3, and, well, here we are, waiting patiently!

Is it possible to use Z5Compact as an external cam for your tablet? (like a gopro)

Hi
I was wondering...
If you have an action camera like a GoPro, you can connect it to your tablet and see in life what the camera is seeing/recording. Without internet.
Could that be possible using the Z5 compact? I mean, to connect it in some way (wifi?bluetooth?usb wire?magic?) to my tablet. So in my tablet I can see in life what the Z5Compact is seeing/recording with the camera. Without internet.
Is that possible?
How?
Thanks
(I am not quite sure if this topic is in the right subforum. if not, feel free to move it)
Yup its possible
mmmm... how?
the only way I knew was to be both devices (z5compact and tablet) connected to the same wifi. and then transfer the lifevideo from the z5compact to the tablet via IPcam (or an app call like that)... otherwise... doing like a life streaming online, or a videocall..
but I mean... how can you do it without an internet connection? like you can do with a go pro
if it is possible.... is everyone going to keep it like a secret?!?!?! hahaha
My buddy uses an old phone as security camera, I'll ask him what he's using but I'm sure it's wifi.
yes please. still havent found anyone saying a way of doing that without internet

A quick play store search pulls a couple up. There's gotta be an app for that.
