Stable versions and configs for the OnePlus 8.
Features:
Features depend on the GCam and Android version used, but overall:
- Google AWD, HDR+ Enhanced, Astrophotography, Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Timelapse, Motion Photos, Lens Blur, Panorama, PhotoSphere, Photobooth, Motion tracking.
- Video, Timelapse, Slow motion.
How to use:
1. Download and open/install the APK file.
2. Unless there's a "suggested settings" link next to the download link or some settings posted with the APK, the app is ready for use.
- Some versions require the camera fix.
- Feel free to explore the settings, but keep in mind that enabling the wrong options will cause problems.
- Issues? Google for now.

Till now Wichaya's GCam is working great for my Oneplus 8.

I have using these two configs. I use them alternatively. Try it.

I installed the wichaya version with the mentioned config file but now have the phenomenon that I only can take one picture. After that I have to close the app through the app manager. Any idea?

You need to clean install the GCAM. If you have previously installed Wichaya's GCAM, uninstall it and install the new one.

Yes, you can. But I'd be better if you just let it as it is and set Gcams and Google Photo as Default Camera and Gallery

The only issue I had with this gesture is on the lockscreen, otherwise it works fine

For now yes, but it will come. Gcam 8 is only in beta stage, so let's fix the bug before making configs
I have the verizon oneplus 8 I installed the beta 8 app it opens but stays on the opening camera picture and I don't know what to do with the config file

Just download the zip.
Reboot to Recvery.
Flash the zip and have fun.

As many users said that their stock Camera should not be uninstalled, he fixed Panorama with different Base and now you can enjoy sweetness of CameraNextMod with your Stock Camera as well.
Now coming to the Changelog:
1) The Focus Ring's Radius is reduced now. So it looks more pleasant to focus.
2) Fixed Storage Issues. (Some users faced it).
3) Added Touch AF/AEC Feature.
4) Added HDR+.
5) Added Auto Exposure Bracketing.
6) Added Option to disable beeping countdown sound.
Coming to Video Sections:
1) He is also trying to add Camera like denoise, saturation and all those **** to Video Section as well.

Well, I was using it a years ago, I know its good camera app, but I think its need more improvement in focus ring, sometimes AF touch is missed from the object I want to focused, CMIIW. Google Camera or FooteJ is way better IMO

Pic quality is best i had from this device, better than EUI.
Little unstable, but fully usable.

Not working, it save one pic, like photo camera and sound is recorded.
Didn't test on front camera.
Blur mode is working
Panorama didn't test.
I need it only for normal pics and for this is great.
Also always liked blur mode.
For video i'm using footej, have it installed only because of video.

Now if someone can fix video recording and maybe it can be stock camera, like they do on le max 2 on some unofficial roms. Video recording was also problem on le max 2, but developer fixed this very easy, hope that our great @DarknessKiller, @codeworkx, @Lakku, @Rishabh Rao etc.. can fix this, we finally have really, really good camera on nougat.
Latest 1.3 version has lot of developers options, new option in settings which can be marked one by one. maybe is useful if someone wants to play...

Face retouching is for selfie camera, it doesn't work for me, it capture photo, but does not do any post-processing.
Hdr is for main camera.

It is for android 7. Current eui version is 6.0 so it won't work
What Custom Rom do you use with a good working Google Camera port: no FCs, hdr (preferably both back and front), portrait mode?
I tried Pixel Experience... GCam FCs
Then I tried LOS15.1.... GCam FCs
Then I revert back to Miui 9... GCam seems to work

But in stock rom (MIUI 9) it works... With very few FC from time to time... Nothing compared to the 2 custom roms I've tried before...
I have just gone from Miui 9 developer rom, to LineageOS Extended edition (https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=256804) and for me, using the UriKill Google Camera (https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/) - this version - https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/MGC_5.1.018_Urikill_vXXII.apk it seems to be very stable, where as in Miui I was getting a fair amount of crashes, it seems to be quite good. The LineageOS extended rom also adds 60fps video capture support, I tested it yesterday and it does indeed capture 60fps - Video Info app in the playstore reads the FPS, and where as before I would always only get 30fps when I tried to use 60fps in GCam, it now reports 57-60fps.
For slow Motion I can use the Miui Camera - Oreo port - https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962187416754466517 - this one supports slow motion.

Yep, already tried: Pixel Experience (oreo) first and LineageOS 15.1 (oreo) after... both of them with the most popular gcam ports, Urikill too
Always FCs, maybe some port more stable, but never so useful (maybe it doesn't crash for a while... then... when you need it, it crashes losing the last 2/3 shoots)
Now, on MIUI 9.5, it is moooore stable... just an FC here and there...
But I have to find a good rom (with google camera stable) 'cause I really don't like MIUI

Multipro with latest urkill gcam.
Plz download nikita 1.9 or wichaya 3.0 from ceslo's website as they are the best options available right now. Make sure to download snapcam version

Wide (0.5) does not seem to work, image is blurry and no bigger field of view...

We know bruh but this one has more editing options and more AWB profiles, it can enable/disable focus tracking and do many other things too.
Just use a snapcam package or either wait for the modder to update it instead of kanging of a kang camera. Just my 2 cent.
I installed it and tried it out a bit. Switching to Wide lens crashed the app to the point where I couldn't get it to open at all.

Notes:

• Some new interfaces may crash on your device. Don't tell about that issue cause it is device depending. They may also work on some manual device configs (e.g. isOnePlus2020)
• OpenGL Preview now works with Instantaneous HDR+. The only problem is in this way motion photos will cause crash (it doesn't work with both of them)
• Redmi Note 8 Pro supports 64MP only in portrait mode

Latest Nikita works great with nrG XML! Even aux cam, but you will need to download the "snap" apk!

Install Nikita gcam snap version from this post.
And download nrg.xml and add it to gcam folder/configs7
Open gcam. Click on the black screen near the shutter button at your right and restore NRG.xml config

The snap version is a great hint. I only find a NRG.xlm for the 5T, that makes it crash when switching camera's... Guess I need to be explained like I'm five with direct download links ?

You need the nrg from op7... It's actually nrG-OP7--Wichaya-7.3.018-v2.8.1.xml

Use the latest Nikita or Wichaya, but download the Snap Camera one.
All credits goes to Working GCam.
I just tested it with my Nord 2 and it worked like charm.
Edit: Wichaya one is more stable with working Night Sight, portrait and video.
Update: BSG one is pretty stable. Use below link to download.

Hey Ravinder0003 can you confirm which version to download among all the Wichaya ones? Can you post a specific apk link rather than the entire list of Wichaya links? I'm not sure which one to download for it to work with the Nord 2

I had tested latest_ENG.apk of all.

You don't have the viewfinder lag on the BSG version on your Nord 2?

No but stock cam processing is far better.
Thanks for the links, I tried the BSG version but viewfinder is lagging in photo mode (and pretty smooth in video mode) . Quality is nice, HDR+ pictures are much better than the stock app HDR pictures.
Sadly BSG don't work for me with the secondary wide-angle camera, only main back and front

It's always on by default and the switch to disabled is masked, but if you go to the advanced settings you can enable the visibility of the HDR+ switch to disable/enable HDR+ or HDR+Enhanced
Any idea how to get the ultrawide to work with any Gcam version? I checked a few Camera2api apps and the ultrawide is not even exposed to the OS.

Like the review of gsmarena, you have better results without HDR mode, also 50 mp mode is useless it justs increase the size of the photo but not its quality and details.
Gcam has a good hdr, also it doesn't apply some sharp effect on night photos. I think they will improve the stock camera in the future like they did for their other phones
These photos are with Gcam astrophotography mode, and it was 3 am, in the dark, the "dawn" effect is caused by the cities around but it was barely noticeable with human eye

Well, using the ultrawide is come kind of zooming. The app definitely uses the second camera then. Just put something in front of the lenses and you'll see.
