Normally, the kernel is shared across all 7 devices. But as the hardware ia different and the ROM is not tested on the 7T Pro, I don't think that it would work and I wouldn't do it.
Your only chance is to build it yourself or ask the maintainer if he wants to support the device.

Wouldn't think so because the phones have different partition layouts.
And why would anyone ever want to flags memeui?

Sorry for the of semi-off topic question, but how do you build a ROM yourself? Are there decent how to articles you recommend? (By build, I mean, build/port one already made to your device)

[Q] MIUI Rom possibility?

I was wondering if anyone knows, if the MIUI rom can be used with our phone, and if yes, if it can be used with SafeStrap as well.
Here is the link for it http://en.miui.com/thread-9785-1-1.html

Not that one, if you search the development section you'll find a 4.2.2 build of MIUI that kind of worked... definitely won't work on Safestrap. Best you can do is run Chaos ROM that has some MIUI elements built in as options in Aroma.

You could compile it from source for this device: https://github.com/MiCode/PatchRom
I would do it for you but I'm not the biggest fan of MIUI and plus my bootloader is locked.

I am not going to ask you to do it just because it is something I want. Plus, I am using SafeStrap and it sounds like I wouldn't be able to use it with that anyway. Oh well...

3g ram can't use foxy kernel

:crying::crying:mipad with 3gram can't run foxy kernel in los 14.1and los13,but remix os(jide co ltd)could run well
i think it is on kernel configs and stuff, modifying the kernel to support 3gb ram will help you, try asking the developer of foxy kernel about it.
2.3的内核支持了,作者关闭了zram,估计是这个东西的问题。
Hi, there's a guide on how to upgrade RAM? Is the new module still avaiable on online store? also for those who are out of china?
I've done a rapid search but found nothing.
FOXY-2.3以后的内核都能使用了
Can you please find who built Remix OS for MiPad1
I think the person is from China so I posted here

I wish I would have know a little bit of Chinese
Can you ask him from which device he ported it or how he built it?
It will be very helpful if he can join MiPad development now since Kernel source is out.
Thank You

What's next, our beloved developers?

Since wileyfox phones are no more 'officially' supported, which also means there will be no more updates in the future, are we going to see any stable ROMs based on Oreo for wileyfox swift 2(x/+)? perhaps Lineage OS 15? Would be awesome to hear some good news from you guys!
UPDATE: Wileyfox is back, oreo will be available soon (within 3 weeks)
You need to wait for the official release of Android 8 for Wileyfox Swift 2/2 Plus / 2 X and the kernel source code. And then see what happens)

I'm guessing you missed the news that Wileyfox has gone into administration. Official Oreo builds are seeming unlikely at this point, at least for quite a while.

Yes, I only recently found out about this. if officially Android 8 does not appear on this device, then we will have to tight.

I wanted to say that without the kernel source code, it will be hard to do anything. Just I use online translater.
I love my WF but WTF?!? There are a number of developers on this forum who have already approached them directly, perhaps one of those might have some leverage to at least find out what will happen on the development front? I'm going to be a very unhappy bunny if my shiny phone is now a shiny brick

A Lack of updates won't really turn your phone into a Shiny brick, also there is a way more active rom community over on 4pda
Ii myself have been trying to do a port of the newer version of MIUI in my spare time too, then you got VBCerobil who was working on an Oreo build for the Swift, but he has been busy and has not been very active here recenlty
These are the Nougat roms that are over on 4pua
Dot OS
ViperOS
Resurrection Remix OS 5.8.5 (x64)
Mokee 7.1.2
AOSP Extented
crDroid Android
LineageOS 14 arm64 by vm03
LineageOS-14.1 (experimental version)

So you're saying that to keep my phone updated I can use third-party unsigned ROMs containing potentially all manner of trojans and backdoors? No thanks.

[ADVICE] Installing Rom

Hello everyone,
I've been using the Pocophone F1 for quite some time now and really like it but I'd like to install another rom because I don't want all the bloatware.
I did already watch some tutorials which explains how to unlock the bootloader but where do I download the right TWRP version? (I think I have the international version of the Pocophone)
Also, Pixelrom seems very good or would you guys recommend another rom?
Thanks in advance!

Each ROM has its own uniqueness. What may be the best ROM for me may not be the best ROM for you. Once you try a new ROM for a few days, try changing ROMs. You will settle for one that you like best. Some ROMS will have Battery life, some have performance, some are pleasing to the eyes, some have additional features that you may like, some may have features that you don't use at all. So asking which is the best ROM is not correct.
Try different ROMs, the Opening Post will tell you its USP, decide and go ahead.

Thanks for your reply, the main issue I have with the stock rom is that it comes with so many bloatware.

No yet.
Something new about this?
There isnt a LineageOS rom
Well, For the time being, There's no Custom ROMs for A02s. However, It does have treble support which means that you can install a GSI ROM on it.
Speaking about running 64-bit ROM on it, It would require a custom vendor which doesn't exist for this device yet.
So, the only thing to do is wait for someone to make one for it.
Someone please make one
