Ampere rating on default stock charger for poco f1 - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hello Friends,
My Charging cable gone bad, so I had to buy new, I have bought 3 Ampere cable, but I am not sure if it is actually 3 A.
When I am connecting it with the charger, it is showing at max 1490 mA.
Can anyone please confirm what is the charging speed they see in ampere app when they charge their phone with stock charger.

Max current should be greater than 2.4A. The best I have got is 2.7A with the stock charging cable.

To gain max charge speed your battery temp should be below 35°c.

To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the Xiaomi Mi A1 can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.

It's not support fast charging
So does it or it does not support fast charge?
M1 A1 has no fast/quick charge, anyway, charging duration is acceptably quick with Xiaomi power adapter 5V -> 2A charger.
for me about 2h
2hours charging time
IMHO, To extend battery life, I can live with slower charger. The xiaomi 5v 2amp charger is consider too fast for me
I usually use 5v 1 amp for normal charging. It takes about 3hour to charge
I only use 5v 2amp if I need to be fast. I usually don't fully charge with it thus not sure about charging time
Less Than 2 hrs
Near than 2 hours

Charging Speed with Android Oreo
Yes it support Quick Charge, but you need Charger that support Quick Charge 3.0.

More than 1:30 hours. Not fast, but not terrible bad.
Fast charge working with 2A, but it miss the QucikCharge 3.0 (sw disabled, but the chipset is cappable to)
Hello,
I have a quick charge charger and my xiami mi a1 64gb global doesn't support quick charge it's the same with one plus 5t charger and s8 charger. So don't trust gadget it's not because xiaomi provide a new charger that the mi a1 is now compatible. Also even with the 5v 2a xiaomi charger, the MIA1 charges more quickly with Oreo that's it.
I bought the Mi A1 64GB Special Edition (Red) about a month ago. I didn't expect much but when the screen is off I get about 70% charge within an hour. That is with the charger that came with the phone.
My phone actually charges in about 2 hours and 40 minutes - 3 hours, I think that it is slow, when I test the amperage with Ampere App, this says me 900 mAh, I want to buy a fast charger (Qualcomm certified 3.0) to see if this time improvement
With original charger I got with phone, it charges about 1 h 30 min from 2% - 100%
i am using the nexus 5x charger and normally it charges 1% per minute. but didn't say "charging rapidly" like the nexus 5x. it just say "charging" on mi a1, but also not showing "charging slowly"

Redmi 5 Plus supports QC (3.0 to be exact, as it's Snapdragon 625). Apps measuring charge rate won't show you real current, it's only approximation.
I've tested my charger, which supports QC 3.0, my 5+ uses 9Volts at almost 2Amps (when charging from 15-20%). Measuring software won't show you voltage that you are using to charge so you may not see the difference. But doing quick math - 5V*2A=10W (standard charging brick) whereas QC charger will use 9V*2A=18W. That means you are charging with 80% more power.
Keep in mind that charging with QC will get your phone a bit warmer, so phone will start to throttle the current, meaning that you won't be charging from 0% to 100% at full 18W
Yes. It charges with 9v and 1,7 amp max. (9v is static, amp is variable, that means it has only QC 2.0 mode.)
Its way faster than standart charger. I have Tronsmart QC 3.0 charger. But you can go with QC 2.0 charger.

Question Xiaomi Slow Charger will give any problem to Mi 11x?

Hi Guys,
I know we always have to use the default charger but this is also a fact that the fast charger is not always good for the phone's battery life. We can use it sometimes when we are really required fast charging.
I have a Xiaomi original charger 5V, 2A. I use to charge my device 20-80% with this charger. My phone will not get heat up like it compared to the situation when I charge with a fast charger.
Please tell me, is there any problem if I'm not using the default charger that comes in the box with the phone? I'm using that cable but with the Xiaomi slow standard charger. Will it be safe for both the phone and charger?
Thanks,

I didn’t face any issue …but never use fast charging while playing high graphics demanding games.sometimes while playing games if battery low then i use 18 watt powerbank to charge while play…
yeah thanks for the reply.
sometimes, in the case of need, I will use the fast charger otherwise I will always go with standard 5v 2A charger.

Question Wirelessly charging Edge Plus (2022)

Who's been able to wirelessly charge their phone above 3 or 5 watts?
If so, Motorola's charger or another brand?
I have 3 charging pads and a stand (various brands) and built-in car charger, and none charge more than 350 or 450mA according to Ampere app. Tested at 40-70% battery.
Best charge was from 50% to 57% in 1.5 hours.
Note: Wireless chargers charge Pixels and a Samsung at higher rate as expected.

Poco F1 not charging fast.

I have 3 chargeing adaptors. One is 10W and the other two are 18W. But my poco F1 charging very slow with 18W chargers. I checked on ampere app with 10W charger it is receiving approx 1700ma approx but with 18W chargers it is receiving only 700-800ma.
I also tried one of my friend's charger(22.5W) and with this getting the same speed of 700-800.
So, What is the problem??
Why my phone not supporting fast charging.
