Hello, i still don't own S20+ but i'll buy this phone next days that why im here on this forum but nvm.
About xiaomi power bank, i have Xiaomi mi power bank 2C 20000 mah and i buy this one last summer i highly recommending xiaomi power banks to my friends/family. I'm very satisfied from this power bank i can charge my phone (note 8) 4-5 times for sure from 1-100. So this newer version of xiaomi power bank must be very good also. GL

I have an iniu one. Charges up quickly via USB C and will activate the fast charging function on the S20+, I have one for work for when I'm away from mains sockets for a whole day.
It's compact and not very heavy at all. I also bought a smart phone pouch for a £5er to keep it in top condition. It's 20000 mah and has charged my S20+ 5G up several times, can't fault it.

I got the iwalk which is pocket friendly and can be easily carried with you, can charge the phone to 70-80% when u need the juice the most

I have an Anker 20000mah one and absolutely love it. I also have an unbranded 20000mah one I bought for my raspberry Pi as a battery backup, model TL-66 which is also really good as it can charge and be charged via usb C where my Anker one can only be charged via USB C.

Huawei car-charging option

Hello everybody
I bought a Huawei Mate 10 pro and I love it! My previous phone was a Huawei P9 lite, so it's a huge upgrade...
But... I don't know anything about electricity or chargers/cables so I need your help!
I used my old huawei P9 lite as a GPS (Waze/Google Maps) in my car. I used a normal, cheap micro-usb to usb cable and a usb-car charger to charge my phone while using it as a GPS. But with the SuperCharge-option from the Huawei Mate 10 pro I'm lost... Can I buy a normal usb-c to usb cable and plug the phone in on my normal usb-car charger or do I also need some special SuperCharge-items? And what is the cheapest/best option to buy (on amazon.de)?
Many many thanks for all the help!!!

You can use a MicroUSB-to-USBC adaptor to charge it at a somewhat pedestrian rate (~4 hours for a full charge) - this is what I'm doing at my desk because I already have a 2.1A standard USB charger here. This should suffice for just keeping the battery afloat whilst driving, but if you need to be able to give the battery a good bum-kick in your car, you'll want a SuperCharge adaptor for the job.
I ordered one of these genuine Huawei SuperCharge car chargers through AliExpress - not particularly cheap at ~USD$30, but in my opinion a worthwhile investment to save getting stranded on a multi-day trip when you might not have access to mains power.
I got a genuine car Supercharger through ebay for about AUD48 and it works well. From memory it went from about 30% to 85% during a 30min drive to work. The charger didn't get anywhere near as warm as a generic car charger I used to use for charging my old S5 in the car.

Hi guys,
I'm very excited to replace my magnet style car charger with the Xiaomi Wireless car charger.
Unfortunately it's not in stock yet and it seems to have big reseller markups right now.
If someone manages to find a good place to buy I would love to know! Also if someone who already has it can share if you're able to remove/insert the phone without it having power, please share!
As soon as I have it I'll let you guys know my findings.

Yeah but there is a lot of price difference right now. I'm not sure what is closest to the actual retail price. And it's not a first for me that they are selling stuff on aliexpress without having actual stock, so they might essentially be preorders.

Just looking at the expected delivery time (if it's about 18-25 days is ok, if it's 40-60 days, mostly the stock is not available).
My 20w wireless charger (the desk one) also ordered from AliExpress and reaches me in about 16 days.

Anyone managed to get one of these yet? Just looked at the link and it says pre order so no stock yet
Mine is already dispatched. I Received my Tracking Number. But it says "will arrive on 27. Of March". Totally fine for me, my Mi 9 wont arrive within the next week. So.... Okay to me.
Btw im thinking of opening the 12v charger and Install this unit permanently in my car.
Hook IT up the Main Power supply and hide all the cables. This Thing Looks to bei a Safe Bet for at least 10 years.

The charger has not been released by Xiaomi yet, so no seller has it in stock. This is the best Price I have found and I ordered both the car charger and desk wireless charger. I have already received the desk charger and the car charger will be shipped as soon as it is released.

Just received it,and its really great.
The automatic locking mechanism works fine.
Locks and unlocks instantly.
It comes with a power adapter and it chargea in turbo charge.
Great buy!

I received mine too! The only issue I have is that bumps on the road vibrate the phone enough to constantly activate raise to wake (I assume) and turn on the fingerprint icon, although charging shows a little car icon (drive mode?).
Drive mode should disable raise to wake, hopefully this is fixed in a later update. I'll test some thing later, like manually activating drive mode before I take a trip.
Other than that, this is a nice piece of tech. It charges fast, comes with a sticky piece so you can place on windshield I assume. Sadly I don't have a sturdy enough spot to use the clamp.
It charge my phone by 2000mA, which is half of 20W, but not bad.
The opening mechanism work fine, it is not very convenient because one need to start the engine before mounting the phone in the holder.
I don't like to put the phone on the air condition vent as it force me to move my eyes from the road. So I successfully merged it with MPOW windshield vacuum holder arm.
My Xiaomi 20w car wireless charger blasts 3700mAh and my phone displays turbo charge
2nd. opinion after 3 weeks.
After 3 weeks of using this charger, seem, as it is not my best buying.
When it work it work fine, up to 3700 mA in very cold weather, and full air-conditioning forward strait to the charger. Yet if the temperature exceed 25 degrees, or it was left in sun light at parking, then it charge for few minutes and stop. Then even freezing it by air-condition for few hours will not convince it to return to work. If temperature exceed 30 degrees than the arm stop moving.
So seem that this charger is usable only in cold zones in the winter.
Does it come with a 27W QC 3/4/ or 4.0+ DC charger...? I ask because I don't even think Xiaomi sells that thing on its own... Can someone take a pic of the dc charger with the ratings ? Thanks.
The Xiaomi 20w Wireless Charger works very well with this Baseus Charger if using the PD Port! Using the PD Port directly with a USB-C Cable to the Mi9 will not enable "Turbo Charge".
What is the standby consumption? I've nowhere found this information, and since my car outlet is always on, it is a bit of concern (2 LEDs & proximity sensor always operating).

Re: Other Phone Brand's Charging Brick Compatibility?

Hi there,
Currently using the OnePlus 7T-Pro and will be using my carrier's upgrade service to switch to the S21 Ultra by the end of January.
Since the S21 doesn't include a charging brick, I'm wondering if it's safe/compatible to use non Samsung branded power brick with it?
Furthermore, would the 30W charging speed of the 7T-Pro brick be equalled on the S21?
Any feedback is appreciated - thanks in advance

You have to try it. It's safe, yes and it should charge the s21 faster then Samsung's standard 25W charger. Am not sure if OnePlus uses a proprietary USB-C cable, but you'll get the cable from Samsung as well.

Really helpful...thanks mzsquared
One Plus's Warp chargers will charge other phones very slowly as some of the charging circuitry is built into the phone. I mean like REALLY slow. Just plugged a warp charger into my S20 plus at 71% and it says 10 hours 23 minutes until full.

Hi BladeRunner,
Good lookin out, as they say...sounds like I'll have to go the proprietary route after all.
I'll also update this thread in a couple weeks after testing out the OP charger on the Samsung.

Yes, try it out first and w/ different cables too, the USB 3.0/3.1/3.2 supposed to be all back compatible, but there are many pos* manufacturers who cut corners.
*("profits-over-standards")
You can also try just plain using a cord between your PC and the phone. Really, I've seen fairly decent charging performance this way. Technically USB 3.X has support for some pretty heavy power modes so if your PC can do it then the phone might charge pretty fast. Yes, that limits where you can charge potentially but it might be a decent option for at home or work.
These super fast change my S20+ at maximum speed. I assume it will also work for the S21 series

Update:
The OP charger works but at standard speed, with a description of "Cable charging" when in use.
A properly compatible 25W brick & cable from Amazon, nearly identical to the ones linked by hehfahq above, effectively have the "Super fast charging" speeds.
Thanks to all in this thread for contributing your feedback & guidance.
Same results for me, using Oneplus 5 and 5t power bricks. They charge my s21 Ultra slowly.
My OnePlus 30W brick also charges the S21 at a snails pace. In general, I'm finding charging to be really slow on the S21 compared to my previous OnePlus 3. Granted the battery is 1000mAH larger but the charging times are more than double using PC charging via USB.
Anyone have experience with this charger: Link
You have to look after chargers with Power Delivery system with equal PD generation that is used in the OEM charging brick. And yes, cable could be misconductive aswell so it´s highly recommended to use OEM or similar PD cable with it.

Question Sony xperia iv charger help

Hi Guys
I have just purchased this phone it gonna come in around 2 days or so.
My current phone is the oppo reno x10 phone and i have ad this for about 3 years. My wife has the realme x2 phone.
Both these phones itilise vooc/dash/warp chargin techonoloy and i have a bunch of these plugs around the house.
Would it be safe to use these with this phone. Granted i may not get the fastest chargin possible, but is it gonna be really slow?
Also for this phone, the fast charge is USB to USB C 30 watts, so would i get fast charge with a regulat USB to USB c on a 30watt plug?
Any advice would be appreicated
I use baseues 65W GaN charger mostly but works fine with some 65W from xiaomi and 120W from oneplus.
Though, I'm nut fussed about how fast it actually charges, mine is set to battery care
Yes you can use those chargers, I have been using an Oppo Find X2 Pro charger with my handset; it charges in a couple of hours from zero; also it learns charging habits ie overnight charging
So it's perfectly safe right?
But I don't want it taking hours to charge. I suppose it will be half an hour slower than the dedicated fast charger
it depends what option will you choose. But unlike with other brands, it is your choice.
I'm kind of retentive when it comes to complying with warranty requirements because down the line I don't want to hear any excuses from Sony about something not being able to be covered under a warranty based upon my own negligence. Even though I'm quite sure a non-sony charger can do the job I decided to go ahead and get the official Sony charger. Ironically the only place I could find it was on the official Sony website. I could not find this charger anywhere else.
I bought the official Sony charger from eBay, but I was using my Oppo Find X2 Pro charger beforehand and that was okay
The official Sony charger is available at Amazon UK for £29.59 or thereabouts...
I jut purchased some 30w plug. it was much cheaper then the sony one. Charges fast perfectly.

Question Best charger for the S23 Ultra

Just decided to buy a S23 Ultra as a upgrade for my Galaxy Note 8 and I need a new charger since my current charger is probably slow.
The price doesn't matter, since I just paid 855Euro for it after extending my phone contract and traded in the Note 8. However the charger should be from a reputable brand.
If it's possible, post the name and model of that charger or Amazon EU link.
Thread here.
45 Watt Charging
Does the Samsung S23 Ultra ONLY accept Samsung Genuine 45 watt charger for Super Fast Charging 2.0 aka 45 watt charging ?! BTW does anyone know any good 5A cables ?
forum.xda-developers.com
Personally I have always liked Anker brand wall warts and USB cables because of the quality. But that's just my preference (even with their bad security practices)
I've been please with the UGreen Dual USB C port charger. Does do the Super Fast 2.0 charging. Does some kind of very low trickle charge when the device 100% so the phone is actually cool in the morning when left charging overnight. https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Charg...28344&sprefix=ugreen+dual+port+,aps,59&sr=8-5
I like small, easily portable, and dual port chargers. I can charge two devices as once. And the one seems do it very well. You can definitely find faster chargers, but it fits my criteria very well.
I recommend official Samsung 45W charger, it comes with 5A cable. I use it and it workings as it should. From 30% to 85% of battery charging takes 20 minutes.
I got 4-5 Baseus chargers at home....GAN chargers with multi ports (100watts) are excellent if you've got many devices from different brands. It charges my Macbook at max capacity and same goes for all Samsung devices.
I've been using the nothing one charger I bought separately when I had nothing phone. It supports fast charging upto 30w and it is fast enough for me. It also looks a lot better than samsung's charger
