Samsung A10s non rooted 32GB android 9 one ui core 1.1
Thanks guys!

@Need help very urgent
Moving from Android 9 to Android 10 is an upgrade, not an update. Don't think Samsung offers such an upgrade for free.
If you're already on Android 10, then Samsung offers you an OTA ( Android 10 OS patch ) what can get accepted: it doesn't affect device's user-data, they remain untouched by this update.

So you mean by upgrading to android 10 can cause data loss?

First off good day to you all so I hard reset my galaxy a 10 u and now it won't read any sim card do I need to install an sd card driver?? Thanx for your time [email protected]

Flashing a new rom over a previous one

That might occur ( swiping all internal data ), but not everytime. Hence keep backup of all your data before you flash your device

SDcard problem - for anyone have s3 s4 note 2

hello ,
i have SD card kingstone 32 GB class 4
its quite decent priced and was working fine to my s3 gt-i9300 for 1st year
after a while it started to lag the device on the original stock rom
anyway , after using custom cyanogenmod rom it was fine to me and quick
once i got back to stock it freezed the device then its not working anymore
not recognized on phone nor PC -- not even recognized on recovery programs like testdisk - photorycu .. etc
i lost hope until i searched specificaly in kingstone technical support:
here's the link
http://www.kingston.com/en/support/technical/products?model=SDC4
so i found out this in android 4.2 4.1.2 question FAQ :
*ADVISORY* My microSD card worked in my Android 4.1 or 4.2 device but after a short time, it is no longer accessible and has locked up. How do I resolve this issue?
A problem has been identified with some microSD cards and Android 4.1 & 4.2 based devices like the Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy S4, and Samsung Galaxy Note II that causes the card to become unresponsive after being used for a short time. Kingston Technology has taken the necessary measures to resolve the issue but it is always a good idea to keep a BACKUP of ALL important data. If you are experiencing this problem, please contact our Technical Support department for a resolution.

I am from Pakistan myself and got OTA update about a month ago. What's your model?
Mine is PLK-L01.
Update notifications don´t come at the same time for every country or even every user in the same country.
1- Don't stress out, just wait. Or even better, wait for the first feedbacks from other users about the update. Some are not good enough, i.e. solve some problems while fixing others.
2- Make sure you have HiCare updated. This can be done inside the app itself. Check the "early adopters" section inside the app.
3- Make sure you make a backup full relevant data with Huawei Backup app, into external USB drive (OTG) or sdcard.
4- After update, factory reset, restore from backup and phone is as it was before but updated.

Hardware requirements for upgrading to a new android version

I just wanted to know that what are the hardware requirements to upgrade to a new android version , lets say lollipop..
My phone has 4gb interñal memory and 780mb ram , is that enough to run lollipop (im running on kitkat now) , If yes than how much memory will be left after upgrading to lollipop?
It's not hardware matters, as long as latest ROM available for your device, then go for it. If you're mentioning stock rom, it depends on your manufacturer that releasing firmware upgrade or not.
May I ask what are you trying to achieve?

I don't think that's how it works, System partition different each device, it's not fixed. Idk, but usually it takes 20-30% of internal storage for system partition.
Moreover, unless you already altered your system partition, you shouldn't worry about that.. Lets rom handle system partition automatically. Another option you can use external sdcard for extra storage, I admit 4gb is to small for int storage.

Mi A3 screen won't turn on after finishing a flash process

Hello,
I did flash my phone in fastboot mode to the official Android One ROM and after finishing, the screen doesn't turn on.
What can I do?
Thanks
You need to provide more information.
You need to at least state which android version you are flashing and which android version/ROM you are coming from.
To me it sounds like you have flashed android 10 on an android 11 ROM. This results in a hard brick due to anti rollback.
Please state the firmware version you tried to flash, the ROM/firmware you are currently using and the process in which you flashed it.
I was flashing from a custom ROM of MIUI 12 by xiaomi.eu to the lastest available of Android 10 in order to get back to Android One.
Thanks
Did you have Android 11 before installing MIUI (did you do the conversion to cc9e)?

There's your problem. There is anti rollback in this device so essentially you hard bricked it.
You can't go back to android 10 stock at all once android 11 is flashed.
The only way to recover is flash stock ROM through EDL mode which may require a Xiaomi authorised account or bring it to a service centre for repair
Then my phone is done... There is no use trying to fix it.
Thanks anyway!
Hello.
I'm bringing this up again as I have now more free time in Christmas. I've been charging the phone fot a whole day but nothing appears. I don't know if I need to send it to a repair store or something.
