[Q] Tried so many roms, I need this in my daily driver, help me find it - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

I could just say "immersive notch" on the title and ask for it but it wouldn't be true to what I expect from it.
Tried many roms, maybe I just didn't find the settings for it or maybe there is a way to use a magisk mod for it, I haven't found.
I'm on BlissRom, used to love it but the current release has incredible touch lag for me so I cannot use it, unfortunately. However I'm sending a print of what it has and all the other roms should have imo. Making the huge notch less disturbing while still using the small space around it. I get it that there's an option on developer settings to just make a black line over the notch and use the phone like the notch is just part of the bezel, I also get it that there are roms with "immersive" notch but they make another cut out to keep the rounded shape, wasting even more space...

Please, if you are using a rom that makes this possible, tell me how and which rom

For immersive notch is possible. You need a magisk module called "notch killer" (be carefaul and use a modded version because the official version dont have a last security patch and cause a bootloop). After flash this module via magisk manager you go to dev settings and set display cutout for "notch killer" in last option. After this you have a fit fullscreen in notch size. I use too a xposed module called "perfect color bar" (use 1.5.2 version, because 1.5.3 make a bootloop) for match same colors navbar with status bar. This two mods make a perfect immersive screen in pocophone.

I don't really understand what you want?
You want to remove the status bar in the notch/navigation panel? (Immersive/fullscreen mode command via adb)
You want to make the notch adapt to the apps color scheme? (crDroids default setup for the notch)
Think it's best you try crDroid i noticed it has 3 settings for the notch - normal(blends the status bar in with the app), immersive (like the one you've posted) and hidden (looks like a notchless phone).

I've tested cdDroid's immersive, it adds a curve to the display after the notch that I dislike. I'll try to reflash it just so double check and even print, maybe I'm mistaken. Thanks for the help!
I'll also test the mods on the comment before and will post here the result.
EDIT: CRDROID WORKS! There's an option to reduce the radius right after the immersive notch option under the crdroid specific settings, you just need to make the "radius" value bigger than 0 and then put it back at 0, maybe it is a bug but regardless, it's an easy fix! Thanks for the suggestion!
The mods worked to an extent, it takes some time to load after rebooting so it doesn't feel natural.

Sense setting questions?

Hey so i'm a die hard AOSP/AOKP user. but the roms running for this system are quite hard to get super stable because we don't have the source kernel to tinker with. So i thought i'd start a thread about some things i particularly like about AOSP and see if we can bring them to Sense and then maybe we can get some converters. (like me if we can get this right haha)
1. I like the AOSP lock screen i like the fact that i can have 7 different apps i can unlock to. As well as weather. is there anyway to get the AOSP/AOKP lock screen on. Or atleast be able to change the sense lock screen so the icons are something OTHER than what you have set on your rosie bottom bar.
2. toggle in notification windows. i'm a one handed user. So the quick settings just isnt cutting it. I'd like something that is smaller easier and faster as in on the main screen of the notification bar. Like CM9 or AOKP.
honestly after that i dont really have that many complaints. not sure if anyone has anything we'd like to add so maybe we can make a AOSP/AOKP -esqe Sense rom.
Sorry if this feels like a gripe. I think i'm just slightly tired of waiting for AOSP and hoping that a sense one can take its place with a few mods.

I just joined so I can't post links yet but for your points:
1. Try Widgetlocker out. It's not free but there's always the 15 minute refund window.
2. Widgetsoid allows you to put toggles in your notification tray. There's a free and paid version of this in the Play Store.
For the second request you could also check out "Power Controls".
I find that indispensable.

[Q] [REQ] Transparent status bar?

Hi, so as the title says... Just want to ask if there will be a transparent status bar feature?
It would be really nice to see it there, even in beta testing...

Good Changes! :good:
Saw that it arrived yesterday with an update, however the levels of transparency seem to be a bit broken.
If you select full transparency it doesn't seem to work, and just defaults to full black. (At least on the MotoX, anyway)
Additionally, if you select 'always show notification bar', the transparency option disappears entirely. (is this because it becomes adjustable within the widget setting instead?)
And finally, the transparency seems to have a forced gradient effect at all times, will there be a way to change this?

Hi,
Our team are still working on full transparency settings, as we want to make sure that the features will work 100%. So yes, we understand your frustration, but hopefully within the next update we'll include full transparency and gradient toggle support
I know there's a way but I don't know exactly "where" since I don't even know how to create a theme so maybe a theme maker knows?
This one have transparent default

This one doesn't have statusbar on default
But you can pull it down which is exactly the look I'm after (until you do anything at all and it dissapears again)
So I've tried everything in settings
Which only makes it black
But there's obviously a way to make it persistent and transparent through the theme itself - how?
EDIT: Aha just unlock the widgets and longpress the statusbar and voilá - seems to be persitent (although I have a bunch of xposed modules that alters the statusbar)
Good!

[Workaround] Bring S-View back (xposed, dashclock)

First of all, video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9axQHQ8ZXLU
Solution is not from android programmer, rather geek
Hi there... so, i was pretty dissapointed with lack of S-View functionality on CM13, S4 Mini. It was great feature, that was doing really good job with magnetic cover.
If you tried to do something with it, you probably experienced some problems with magnetic sensor (or you were smarter than me). It prevented to turn on screen with power button on any custom lockscreen from market, that was better than cm's stock one. In terms of 'better' i have in mind a lockscreen... that has f*** clock in right spot for case's window I was trying to bring it back with various results, but finally i achieved (i think) the best possible solution, turning lockscreen into S-View screen.

What it does right: showing time and basic info about battery, calls, msgs, next alarm, notifications (from gmail, fb messeger - that part is actually very customizable).
What it doesn't do at all: doesn't let you pick up calls, turn off your alarm via window and do any stuff that requiers touching via window. Magnetic sensor basicaly turns off that feature when case is closed. Showing info about playing track is not worth activating (because of space).
So, we need xposed installed and then download module: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.ssrdroide.lockscreenwidgets
And the widget we are gonna use is dashclock: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.nurik.roman.dashclock (or you can use more advanced alternative: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kk.widget)
Step 1. First thing you wanna do is to configure widget the way you want - download some extensions for it (like battery info). I highly recommend to use DashNotifer to get notifications from custom apps like fb messenger (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.umang.dashnotifier It's already there in KK Widgets). Test it on your homescreen for now and find configuration that suits you.
Step 2. will be add widget to lockscreen via xposed module. This configuration (http://i.imgur.com/iiJMK7w.png) will keep your widget in case's window, when owner info will be out of it on same time. There is also something to mention - if you will not turn off notifications on lockscreen they will move your widget little higher (depending on number of notifications).
So... 1. If you wanna keep your notifications on lockscreen, set container 'y' translation to something around -150. Widget will stay in window regardless number of notifications.
2. If you wanna remove notifications for that cause, set container 'y' translation to -175. Widget will be in perfect spot for the whole time.
That works for standard DPI.
And that's it. It works perfectly with magnetic sensor.
For better effect you can change your wallpaper to black (worth it). That's however will change when you will listen to music, you can turn this option off or use this xposed module to paint it black for good: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.generalbrus.brightlockscreen
Another thing is alarm. It happens that Timely has clock in perfect spot when activated and can be controlled with physical buttons
I'm super happy with result. It's not exactly what you could achieve with real S-View, but it does good job
If you have better solutions share it in thread!

[App] Energy Bar - Curved Edition for Samsung Galaxy S10/e/+

Many of you who have a Windows Mobile past like me, might have instantly recognized the thin colorful line(s) in the above image. And for the new Android generation, introducing Energy Bar - a pulsating Battery indicator!
Energy Bar puts a thin line on top of your Status Bar whose length corresponds to your device's current Battery level.
Got a full charge? The line will cover the whole width of your screen.
Battery depleting? So will the length of Energy Bar.
After several iterations (thank you for the feedback, early testers), the App is now feature packed:
Energy Bar can be configured from a width of 1 pixel to cover the entire status bar
Energy Bar puts almost 0% load on CPU, as it wakes up only to reflect any change in battery level
Energy Bar's origin can be configured as left/center/right
Energy Bar can hide on fullscreen content (apps, videos, images, games etc)
Energy Bar can be configured to change colors automatically depending on the live battery level
Energy Bar could have a mono color/multiple color segments/gradient
You can literally assign any color in the world for your favorite configuration
Energy Bar as a cool pulsating animation whenever a power source is plugged into your device
There is something about visual over numbers that keeps you and your device's battery level in sync with just a glance. You may find it intuitive/effective/stylish way to read the battery level, let me know what you think

Hey this is cool, I was considering making a similar app around the camera cutout... might be something you consider adding to this project! "Energy ring"..
Doesn't really translate onto the screenshot well tho:
Looks good. I did notice that the charging animation restarts when opening/closing the Energy Bar app. Did not appear to restart animations in other apps though.
It adds a corner to the top left of the screen that is visible in screenshots but doesn't appear anywhere else.
Screenshot attached for others to see.
Hi, great app for my s10... Thanks
Hi, Good Afternoon, I would like to install your App, but why is it asking for so much permissions. It says it wants to read my messages & other personal items. If this is an App to show how much power I have left, why does it need all those permissions?

This is a very good idea. I wish I knew how to create apps

Question Loving this phone and aodNotify, what other Apps do people use to enhance the phone experience?

Long story short, coming from a long time Huawei fanboy but now have an S23 Ultra. From a thread on here I’ve discovered aodNotify and love it. That got me thinking, what other apps do people consider essential to enhance the phone experience?

This lets you put a battery ring around the camera punch hole to make it useful. It also allows me to clear up my notification area and not have battery Icon/percentage there.
I just think it looks cleaner:

Just tried it, can’t get it to align on my S23 Ultra
Also, in case anyone is wondering, you can remove most of the icons on the Status bar:
Install Good Lock: https://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.samsung.android.goodlock
Launch Good Lock and install QuickStar
Enable Quick Star
Tap Visibility of Indicator Icons
Select the Battery Slider to disable it (as well as any others you want)

Not sure what to say here... I followed my instructions and was able to position it just fine.
One thing I can say is if you message the Dev, he's very responsive (he's even here on XDA (https://forum.xda-developers.com/m/jagan2.1884109/)) so you can message him and see if there is something he can help with.
I'll keep poking around and see if there was anything else I can think of that I did. I'll uninstall and reinstall to see if that can replicate what you are seeing and what I did to fix it.
Found the issue, my screen resolution is set to FHD+ and not WQHD+
If I change it to WQHD+ it's fine. I'll inform the dev.
Cheers.
