Root s9+ (g965fxxsbetg8)
Hi. I also have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ with latest basedband [G965FXXSBETG8] one UI Version 2.1 and wished to ROOT it for bloatware removal. There are a number of sites that offer the various methods to ROOT your phonew and I have tried in the past to ROOT an S7+ and an S8+ but spent an awful lot of time trying, following all the various guidelines but to no avail. I finally went to oneclickroot.com and for a small charge they ROOTED my S9+ perfectly. One of the reasons for going to them was that they guarantee rooting your phone or your money back and they don't take your money until ROOTING is complete and your happy with it. I've now debloated loads of "useless to me" apps etc and my phone is running beautifully smooth and fast. Of course it's up to you and I know that at XDA Developers you can find a way to do this yourself but at least you know where to go if you are in doubt doing it yourself. Regards.

Thanks for your reply i just had a look at oneclickroot.com they are charging $40 to root the phone however the reviews are not that great do you recommend any other website offering root services. I am bit worried it might stuff up the phone or if there is an malware.

Rooting S9+
Hi Kevin. As I stated in my original post at least oneclickroot.com do guarantee that you don't pay for it until it's done. Following the EXACT spec for your phone they guarantee to root it or no cost to you. They do offer support for so long after root if you change your mind too. I only got as far as oneclickroot.com before deciding to "give them a go" as I've used them before in the past without any problems or malware etc. Note: I do not work for them in case you are wondering. Regards.

Need help Recovering Audio files

Hello guys,
First off I would like to say a short disclaimer that I have very very little (none) experience with rooting phones or such and am completely at the mercy of your expertise.
So having said that I accidentally deleted a number of audio files (voice recordings mostly) which are very valuable to me and realistically to my business are quite crucial. Upon looking through and checking my options (as I didn't back these ones up yet and didn't have them uploaded to cloud) it looks like a root and then file recovery attempt is my best bet.
Now I have tried to root via kingo and a couple other programs with no success and everything comes across as root failed; and the last resort for me is to pay this one software program company $40.00 to have them root it. But that is just as good as me doing it in my books with the right program.
So my question to guys is, is a samsung SM-g925w8 galaxy s6 edge rootable when updated to version 6.0.1 and what are some good programs for doing so?
I am not confident enough to do the whole flashing thing and manual method of rooting and really have no idea what that would entail and am looking for your guys' opinions and expertise to help me out on this one. In my (limited) experience with this community you all are very helpful and work together to solve issues for others.
Please advise
Thanks!

US Unlocked Phone And Root

Greeting Guys, I am really new to this Forum (first post YAY) so plz be easy on me!! ^_^"
i have Bought the galaxy s9+ from Microsoft store like week ago, after 4-3 days I saw on the internet about all the advantages of the root thing, But I also read that if I got that modle i wont be able to root anymore.
It's true? there will be root for this that will come after all the models? or there is other way to neutralize the root blocker?
Cheers and thanks in advance!!!
Hey Man welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately only S9+'s with the Exynos processors can be rooted. When I pre-ordered my S9+ from Samsung the places that had Exynos ones were very VERY expensive. Im assuming you're in the States, yes? If you are, then Im pretty much certain that you dont have an Exynos S9+
But not to worry! I was also excited about rooting, but what I did was look into de-bloating the S9+ and just enjoying the ride. From what I have learned from reading the forum, if it ever will be possible to root this phone it will be a long time from now.
Good luck

How to root Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge, step-by-step guide for beginner?

I found these threads, https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...overy-twrp-3-1-0-1-samsung-galaxy-j3-t3573607, https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...uide-painless-root-samsung-j3-emerge-t3573551, and https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...ide-twrp-magisk-boost-mobile-samsung-t3740646. I am so confused. When I jailbroke my iphone years ago it was all so simple. I am just trying to download to my phone a single root-exclusive app I desperately need.
Those posts are from a year and 2 years ago, I heard using outdated software with your device can cause it to brick so I don't know if it's safe to use these software anymore. Plus both of these threads use so many terms and acronyms that fly over my head. I also read SuperSU was so sold to a foreign company so it's not to be trusted anymore? The third link seems a bit more understandable but it mentions something about stock, which I know is an official Android release or whatever, but why is it telling me to return my phone to stock? If I was following the guide, wouldn't I already have a non-rooted phone? So why is telling me how to revert my stock phone back to stock... Unless I'm misunderstanding something which is highly likely.
Can anyone give me a clear, concise guide to how to go about this? Please help, and thank you.

Sorry to ask thid here...

.....but it seems they are soooooo ignorant.arrogant over on the V50 forum.
Weeks ago i posted a simple question asking in the V50 can can be rooted (UK) Hundreds have viewed buy zero answeres.
Seen as thoguh I only recently gave my mother the V30.....can u pretty please let me help me out and any ideas if v60 can be rooted?
thanks
Matt
You may want to be more clear on what you're asking for... you mention 3 phones in your post, so I'm not sure which one you're askign about, really. I assume it's not the V30. That said, the V60 shows very little ROM development, which makes me think it's not rooted. Lack of ROMs generally means there is no root.
The V50 has a few ROMs, so that implies it probably does have root capability...
That said, I realize the principles that people have regarding rooting... I was once in that camp myself. But these days, I find it's hard to get it... and it really may not be necessary. I gave up root on my current S10 for this reason, even though it can be rooted in specific situations. For this reason, I question the real "necessity" of it.
i wan to root my V50 just for the sake os system app remover and titanium backp.
thanks
Matt
As I've learned on my new S10, TiBu hasn't been updated in many years and doesn't quite work as well as it used to either. People have had to find alternative apps to do those tasks. In Samsung-land, Samsung Switch works pretty well for this purpose, and doesn't require root. There are others.
Similarly, you don't need root to remove system apps on the S10 either - you can remove them via ADB these days. I'm guessing you can probably do the same on the V50. However, IMO you don't need to remove system apps as much these days because phones have lots more memory and Android is more efficient in dealing with background apps.
To each their own, but the old ways of doing things may have been superceded... so you may not need root anymore... not that you can get it as easily either.
