[Advice] The screen of your phone can easily pop out, please, take care - Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Guides, News, & Discussion

I dropped my phone (probably for the first time in the 8 months that i'm using) from a 0.5m heigth or something like that, and my screen just pop out of the phone, i can feel that there's a magnet trying to hold the screen but it's just too weak that it can't hold anymore, i don't know if it was part of the fall damage, or if it was happening for a while, and i just didn't realized cause my case had been holding the screen on the place (cause it can hold it still now).
It's a weird problem that i've never seen before, but everything still works normally if i use the case or don't turn the phone down. Maybe in a future fall the cable that connects the screen in the body breaks, so i'll try to be even more careful

Edit: I took it to an service center and they put a glue on it, they said that sometimes it happens with different devices, so maybe it just was bad luck

I don't know if it's coincidental but it appeared after my timer went off.
I have pulled the battery but it doesn't correct the problem
looks damaged to me :/ you sure you havent droped, lent on or put pressure on the screen while its been in your pocket?
No sir, was fine, I put it on the charger in my car, the timer went off and I couldnt clear the timer cuz of the screen going haywire. I restarted the phone and it was fine for a moment but as soon as the screen timed out and I attempted to turn the phone back on the problem appeared again.
Recovery mode and factory reset .
Take to a service centre if not fixed .

Thanks, tried a factory reset and still no good.
Sending it back tomorrow
Defective screen. Just take it back.. Sucks hopefully it will be taken care of!

Touch Screen Issue

Hi guys,
I had a look around but i couldn't find anything helpful. I got a really annoying issue about the touch screen. My Atrix has a sort of dead area corresponding to the center of the screen.

( that red rectangle is the dead line )
The point is I can't even enter the application menu or write a message ( infact this "dead line" makes also unusable the upper side of the keyboard in landscape mode ). My phone is completely out of order.
I am sure this problem has gotten worse during this last week, but i can't realize what caused it.
Thank you for your time.
Did you search the forum at all? This is an extremely common thing, already explained many times.
Your digitizer is dieing. It will need to be replaced. Sorry. On the bright side, if you don't mind replacing it yourself, a new digitizer is only about $30-$40.

My 800 USB flap keeps falling off when it's open!

Hey guys, I've got a Lumia 800 and I love it. Apart from one thing: My USB/Charge flap keeps falling off when open, i.e. when charging. It literally falls off if you turn the phone upside down.
It's been doing this since I took it out the box from new (about a month ago). Also when it's closed it doesn't sit flush with the rest of the body but rather sits slightly pronounced
I've watched a few of the "How to replace Lumia 800 USB flap" videos but everyone else seems to be able to take off the flap by pulling hard and then replacing it by puching it back onto the pivot softly until it clicks. Mine doesn't click, and if I were to push any harder it most certainly would break.
Has anyone else got this issue or should I send it off for repair?
I've attached some pics just to see iv it varies from what a normal "functioning" flap looks like.

It is not normal, you should send it off for replacement.

[Q] Yellow spot on Display [warranty?]

hey guys, i got a yellow spot on my display that is kinda growing slowly.
does anyone know by what this can be caused?`i guess it might be a heatproblem but i am not sure. yellow spot is next to the volume buttons.
my idea is, that it´s the gpu or cpu or something heating up, that might caused the yellow taint, but this is just a guess.
i know it´s a hw issue. so what is the best that i can do now?
writing the reseller? (i am in germany, bought the phone on gearbest)
or
contact xiami? is it even possible?
did anyone else experience the same?
suggestions are welcome
edit: is it enough to just put on a custom rom if i´ll send it in or should i flash miui?
here a picture of the display.

Happens sometimes when water gets in between the screen. (some glue got removed, there are lots of things)
There is nothing to be done. A screen is cheaper than sending it back to china

Question Moisture detected ?

I'm nearly sure no water has gotten near this charging port, what happened was I tried to use another charger and it would charge for me, then I put the old charger back in and then this message popped up, iv used a hair dryer for like 5 mins on it, and still showing up
I can remove the message by force closing Android system, then I reset phone, and still the same,
Any clues? Or just wait it out?

Defective brick or cable? Use the one that works.
The Samsung 25w brick/cable are cheap and long lived. Using them makes troubleshooting much easier... I have three, the oldest is will be 4yo in October, still A-OK.
When It happened on my device it was because some dirt or fluff got lodged in. I used straw, in absence of canned air, to blow it out
