[Q]Can we add Lockscreen Music Control and Other Lockscreen to Stock 2.3.3 ROM?

The tittle say all
Can we add Lockscreen Music Control and Other Lockscreen to Stock 2.3.3 ROM? I don't want to use apps like Widget Locker
Please help me if you know , Thank you first
I don't know. I guess it's a feature only available in Android 2.3.5-2.3.7 and up. Try installing Root Toolbox from the market. There is a feature to install Cyanogen apps from it. Maybe it has what you are looking for.

The Root ToolBox just help you to install the DSP Manager and some other things but not the Lockscreen Music Control and Other Lockscreen , If you want the Lockscreen Music Control and Other Lockscreen Styles , you have to Decompile the framework-res.apk of your ROM and Modify it... That's All i know about Mod the Lockscreen , but i don't know how to modify , i just know to decompile , edit xml , blah blah....

Changing default apps, including browser/sms/etc is it possible ?

I read in a review that this isn't possible to change defaults for some important apps, in redmi 3. Is that true or not ?
In installed apps there is a defaults button. You can set...
Launcher
Dial
Messaging
Browser
Camera
Gallery
Music
Email
Video
No option to change the app store sadly. Think we'll need a global rom to remove the Chinese one and have Google play installed. I think if you root and then freeze the Chinese app store it has the same affect.
But removing the Chinese app store atm sends the phone into a boot loop.

I tested freezing the default app store with root permissions and I got bootloops as well.
So my advice is you live the app store alone. And wait for global ROM ?

I didn't experience bootloop when I froze the Chinese app store. I'm on stock ROM, rooted with King root and froze it without a problem. I was annoyed because Chinese app store opened up when I clicked on Google Play store links.

I flashed this ROM with MiFlash : http://en.miui.com/thread-228503-1-1.html.
No problems when freezing apps with titanium. (browser, file manager, video etc.)
I just have some issues with nova launcher. Sometimes it switches back to default launcher. And with nova i cant view some settings like system info or wifi.

I was on stock 7.1.1.0 and rooted it. Then I installed AppFreezer and froze app called App Store with orange Mi logo. After restart, phone asked me which app to use when I clicked on Google Playstore link.

I also rooted but I don't know if I'm using stock rom, do you know how to get this info ?
Did you freeze also other bloatware such as Mi Wallet, Mi Cloud, Mi Video... ?
No. I uninstalled apps that could be uninstalled. Others that I can't uninstall I didn't freeze. I just disabled them to autostart.

When i received my Redmi 3, the webshop already flashed a multilanguage rom and installed playstore for me.
MIUI version would show this : MIUI 77.! Stable 77.1.1.0 (LHPCNCK)
Its not stock.
With titanium i did freeze alot of Mi apps. No problems.

Google smart lock App Auto-Login doesn't work...

I'm using recent AEX rom, and the problem is :
app auto login (using google) doesn't work.
(auto remembering id and password...i donno what is 'official' name of this function in English....)
in stock MIUI rom, it works.... but I prefer AOSP style...
so, why is this function doesn't work?
is it depending on ROM?
or depending on GAPPS?
or something?
How can I use this function back? is there any ROM that working this function?
Hi, this option is under Settings, system, language and input, advanced, auto fill. Then select Google. Then it should work. Hope this helps. ?
OMG it works! thanx a lot!!!
thank you.Its work for my redmi note 9t

Only way i know requires root: Download the latest miui launcher apk from apkmirror, install the app systemizer module from magisk, reboot, install the apk but don't set the launcher as default yet, use poco launcher to open a terminal app (termux or something you prefer) type in su grant root permissions, type systemize, press 1 and then you'll see a drop down menu of all your apps, type in the number the miui launcher has (it will probably display as system launcher) and then type 2(i think) to install it in system/priv-app. Reboot, set it as default and it should be working.
I used Nova Launcher, never turned back

I tried it, super wallpaper does not work ? UI is super smooth but the default pill when going full screen is annoying and totally useless, why did they choose to implement that? It feels "Chinese"...

what you mean by default pill?
I have a few questions:
1. Is this the official one? Seems like a custom rom and the title is misleading then.
2. Installation via twrp?
I am currently running the latest MSM extended rom. Please let me know what might be the steps to install it. Should i just use TWRP for this zip file?
Thanks in advance

1. Yes, it is a custom ROM, although I do not see why the title is misleading.
2. Yup

1. No, this is not an official ROM, it's a xiaomi.eu ROM based on the first non-beta stable MIUI 12 China ROM. If you want an official EEA or Global ROM you'll have to wait until the end of the month.
2. Yes.
So, this is an official eu rom? Where did you find this rom?

This is not a new rom. And as you can see in the first post, its based on the china rom.

App Drawer exists. I was on miui 11 eu stable and updated to 12 eu stable without a problem.
Everything works fine for daily usage. I didnt encounter any problem, battery life is the same with 11 or maybe a little better.

I know there was an app drawer on 11, even on the beta 12 , but in this stable I can't find it
When is it going live on OTA? I'm stock everything, bootloader re-locked.

how much time does it stay on the MIUI colored screen? My phone rebooted after flashing and it's on that screen for 5 minutes already.
edit: worked after 1 minute more.
How do I install magisk again? it seems to fail from magisk manager

Install Magisk in TWRP like always. You can use Magisk Manager to update an existing Magisk installation only.

Not "only"
boot.img can be patched from Magisk Manager and then magisk_patched.img flashed from Fastboot or TWRP/OrangeFox - this is also valid for installing Magisk
