Galaxy S9+(Snapdragon G9650) TONS OF BUGS, NEVER FIXED

The recent updates on my Galaxy S9+ G9650 (TGY) really suck, adding tons of useless bloatwares and tons of BUGs.
There's a big problem with the brightness bar. It will be stuck at some place if you control brightness through an video player app(e.g. YouTube Vanced, MX Player) using full screen mode. And after the bar is stuck, double tapping the brightness bar will make the NOTIFICATION BAR INVISIBLE. Then if you lock your phone, the phone will COMPLETELY NOT RESPOND to any touches. You have to reboot your phone to solve this problem. This bug is never fixed since the Pie update.
In addition, the April update has turned the front camera to 5.2MP after it added some useless wide angle bloatware. If you take photos with the front camera, you'll find the pictures taken with any 3rd party apps are CROPPED from 3264*2448(8MP) to 2624*1964(5MP). It has lost the wide angle advantage after the update. This is a real DOWNGRADE!
These updates has ruined this phone!!!
So, Is there any way to rollback to an earlier version of firmware?
So your issues are with apps?

This question has been asked (and answered) on the forum already. The wording used would have been along the lines of downgrade, flash back to oreo, rollback, etc
Answering your question you can only flash firmware that has the same bootloader version (or higher) then what is currently installed. You will not be able to flash firmware with a bootloader version that is lower then what you currently have installed.
To locate the current bootloader version you have simply look at the baseband version that is installed in your phone right now. Starting on the end count 5 characters in (starting with the end character and count inwards). The number present is the bootloader version that is installed.
Just get an iPhone dude, seems to me like you'll benefit from the simple minded interface

Overlay offset bug

Since i have my new phone Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, Facebook messenger overlay is not stuck to the edge while in landscape mode, rather it is pushed so much out of the edge... Is there any solution to this? Oh and also after the latest security update for Android One P double tap to wake up doesn't work anymore... Is there a fix for it too?

My changelog for MIUI 11

I just installed it about 2 hours ago, and I've noticed many new details that Xiaomi didn't mention. This will include most of the new, missing, broken things etc.
The 'new' changelog :
- New scrolling mechanism; it is now an ios clone, and I LOVE IT. It is super smooth! However, it only applies to system apps.
- Faster fingerprint unlock; it is noticeably faster. I'm still not sure if the bugs regarding the fingerprint reader is fixed though.
- The sleep/screen timeout option is now present; previously missing on MIUI 10 :/
- Blur app previews in multitasking; you can now select the apps you want to be blurred in the multitasking section.
- You can now view the battery % next to the icon; previously fixed to in the icon.
- Updated camera app; decreased delay when switching between lenses, stickers and filters in the 'short video' section. Processing is probably better.
- You now have the option to disable quick shortcuts on fingerprint reader
- Updated android boot logo
- Gesture stutters are completely gone!
- Notifications now stay permanently in the status bar!
The things that are missing/broken
- Still no voLTE option
- Audio is still 96kbps
- AI button settings keeps crashing
- Screen randomly turns on multiple times when charging (your mileage may vary)
Do let me know in the comments on what I'm missing

In eu rom 9.10.31 nothing of these.
I have a voLTE working, maybe you mobile provider is blocking this options. There a thread here on XDA about how to force unlock them.
Audio where? just checked in recorder, it's up to 192kbps.
AI button settings, works fine.
About screen on charging, may be i just haven't noticed

Well, this is an official OTA from Xiaomi themselves, eu is always better than the stock MIUI.

MIUI 12.5.1 for Redmi 9 Prime... More Bugs than I Can Count

Hey, hope everyone is doing well,
So recently got the MIUI 12.5.1 as an OTA update and I was like, why not update? I immediately regretted it, the new version has way too many bugs.
Bugs and issues that I could find:
- Dark theme somehow got EVEN worse than last version. Messenger on dark theme is utterly broken: some messages white, others dark, others just completely vanish.
- Sharing a Discord image to Discord causes an infinite loop of sharing showing "Android System" (This whole personal/work sharing looks so stupid btw)
- Pop-up applications like Twitch can sometimes completely break and the only way to close them is to restart the device (My Twitch window got stuck on Force stop button so I couldn't even force stop it)
- Soft-key navigator buttons sometimes get stuck in their animation
I'll report if I get any more issues. I really don't recommend updating your Redmi 9 Prime.
Now I am thinking about either downgrading or just totally installing a new custom ROM (I'm kinda fed up with MIUI). Do you recommend I remain patient until they push a new update, downgrade, or install a custom ROM?
Thanks for your time reading
Same here,my solution was to wipe data in recovery!!Cheers!!!

Same here mate. Tried factory reset. Fixed some of emm. Bt still no hope. Planning to downgrade my redmi 9 prime to 12.0.1 or sumtin were i was happy using it.
Bluetooth auto reconnects while playback (checked my bt earphones with other brand device, working fine once paired), app auto closes, phone hangs sometimes even when no heavy task is on background or foreground, auto skips to the next video on youtube while watching and countless other issues.
Am happy to try custom roms bt cant find any stable rom. Sugest me if there is any. Thank you.
My list of bugs in latest update :
- phone vibrate continuosly when powering on.
- auto brightness automatically sets the phone to 100% brightness when finishing calls.
- sometimes vibrate doesn't work in navigation bar.
I think Xiaomi software team won't even bother fixing all these bugs. Will all these be fixed in custom roms?
Tried factory reset. Didn't do any good. Planning to downgrade miui version.
Kimdly check anti rollbacK ban and rollback index if u r planning to downgrade ur miui versiOn.
wierd.. i don't have issues with brightness or vibrating
some issues of mine..
mobile data going off ( related to power plan change ? )
at 7 am change power plan / screen going on shows lock screen 2sec
-today however..the screen was blanco black for 5 min
--i did a forced reboot..the boot animation changed..and home navigation bar now shows : ■ Home < ( before there where 3 icons )
"random number.muigalary" files on root of sdcard there are like 200+ files
note..i use netguard and don't allow any updating on mobile data sim
I'm in 12.5.0.1 RJCEUXM.
I've face BT disconnect issue.sometimes app from app drawer vanishes & come back after sometime.Battery backup is also terrible.
For me MIUI 11.0.9.0 QJCEUXM was the perfect version.I will go back to MIUI 11 ASAP.
my unit got updated to 12.5.3 yesterday...
Let's see.. what it brings
I don't know if this happens also on redmi 9 prime, because my redmi 9 after updating to 12.5.4 wifi sometimes there is no connection so I have to turn off and turn on wifi again and I agree with your opinion that Dark theme is getting worse, I hope xiaomi soon to fix this

Question Multitasking issue caused by changing orientation

Hi,
I have an issue with multitasking on my Pixel 6.
Steps to reprodruce it:
1. Open the app which support ladscape orrientation.
(for me working Spotify, Firefox)
2. Change the orientation to landscape and portrait few times.
3. In portrait position open multitasking.
4. Swith to another app.
5. Try to open multitasking.
6. At this moment you could see an issue with multitasking.
Here is my video:
Please could someone try it? I am on the last June update.
I send a feedback to Google.
Same here never saw that because I don't use auto-rotate
But on 5. step I need actually to try 4 times to open multitasking.
Confirm this issue on latest stock build 12.1.0 (SQ3A.220705.003, Jul 2022)
The issue is on all devices with Android 12 (Sony, OnePlus, Samsung).
I believed that problem is with auto rotation but after few hours with AR OFF issue come back.
Here is a thread about issue on Google site:
https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/219367262
