Hi,
Has anyone managed to modify the Story shot mode for the LG G8x camera? I mean the Story mod has the potential to be something awesome, something like the LG Wing's dual video mode, where you can take video with both cameras at the same time. The hardware can do that, as the preview for this mod shows.
Instead it's a crappy uncustomizable mode that puts your face on top of half the screen, and you can't even customize where your selfie is put.
Is there any way to get the dual video mode from LG wing? (or LG V10 back in the day)

There are quite allot of dual camera apps on the store, most of them fake or not working, i have found 2 that work, but one of them does not show you a preview of the selfie picture, and the other one has a forced uneditable counter after which it will take the second shot.
Have you found any apps that actually do a good job with dual shot?

Use the power of Google, that's how I found it on xda
Best dual camera mod i found is Nokia camera on XDA. It's a camera app compatible with most phones, and it has PIP AND SPLIT SCREEN for BOTH PHOTO AND VIDEO!

Hello i realy love my 920 but i miss an app for long exposure pictures like the Magic shutter on the iphone
Is there any apps where i can change the shutterspeed/exposure on the camera, or is it a restriction in the software/hardware on the phone?
I know it's not real long exposure, but it was fun to play with.
PS. is there any good time lapse apps? Magic lapse was awesome on the iphone

And i can't fint any app named Timelapse from Tsaysoft, maybe it's because i live in norway

I remember reading about somebody in the SGSII forums having to use a VPN into the U.S. to get a certain app that wasn't available in their country. Not sure if that would work for you, but it's certainly worth a look.

The QR code work. I'm from Malaysia but I changed my language/region to English (United States) and most of the apps I can download including Nokia Music. Hope it help.

Oh, a long-exposure photo, this app can handle the job (long exposure shots are up to 2MP only).

That's strange, it couldn't be because of the One's camera letting in more light than normal, could it? Perhaps the app is only calibrated for an "average" smartphone camera?

Are you holding your phone very, VERY firmly? If you move it, the picture will look white (also, try to use 2 sec of exposure).

hi, i tried on a tripod, but that make sens the longer you open the diaphragm, the more light come in, and the brighter the pic is.
when i try at nite it s ok, but not at daylight

Yeah, but diaphragm aperture and exposure time are two different things, so I can't understand why are you getting that results (I don't have a tripod, but holding my phone in my hands and using 5 sec of exposure, my shots doesn't look white, only a little blurred due the hand movement).

Here with a mod which changes a lockscreen effects using "light effect" i have made all these images personally using PhotoShop or some imaging tool and will be adding as much as i can in the coming days
Note this is not tested by as I don't have this phone but should work incase any issue please let me know will try to do the need full asap

Don't bother, it's very easy in fact. As the resolution of the S4 mini is each dimension divided by 2 compared to S4, you juste have to divide the sprites by 2

It wont't work on the Exynos Galaxy S8+, since it is missing the DSP that is found on Snapdragon chipsets instead...

The only time a Snapdragon Samsung phone is better than an Exynos one.

That app doesnt work well on exynos version, no hdr support
Can someone who has this working on a Snapdragon (US/Canada) version please post all of their settings? I have yet to find a combination of settings that actually takes HDR+ photos...
Some settings take and store a photo, but it is definitely NOT HDR anything; it's just a basic photo that doesn't have quality that is equal to the stock Samsung camera - it's noticeably worse.
Other combinations of settings won't take a photo, there is an audible 'click', and the camera remains responsive afterwards, but no photo is stored.
Yet other combinations make a click and the whole screen goes dark to say 20% brightness level, but again no photo is stored, and the camera app won't respond to anything more after that and needs to be manually closed and reopened to become responsive again.

I just got the update for firmware 9.0.0.146, and I noticed that all the camera demos and videos of the camera app has that extra icon on the left side that looks like an eye. However, ever since I got the phone and even now with the latest firmware update I have never seen that icon appear in any of the camera modes. I have turned on Master AI as well but still no luck. What is that icon for and is that supposed to be there? Am I missing some features of the camera app?

Can you confirm which version of the phone you have? Did you get the phone from a North American provider?

Yes that's the one indeed. Some of the demo videos I've seen also claim that you can also read barcodes with that. I've never seen that in my camera app since I bought it nor now that i got the firmware update.

Search hivision settings>apps.. You need to activate it
