There's only one way to get custom roms. Start making one mate. The bootloader's just barely got unlocked. Give it time

hello, im new here. so sorry if misthread.
so i have SAMSUNG Galaxy S4, i rooted my phone and installing an S6 rom there. but after done installing it, the System UI has stopped working. is there any way i could fix this problem. please help. im using a stock rom from Auorora.

Never install a rom not meant for your device. Your lucky you didn't brick yourself. Also ports will always have issues.
Are you talking of a rom for s6 or this :

i'm using a stock rom made for my type, S4 GT-19500. so yes, i won't brick myself.
Can anyone make nethunter work on s6 edge. Have been trying for sometime but couldn't. Don't know how to build the kernel and couldn't find any on the internet. Guys please help!?
You were working on this? I have been wanting this but also may want to wait a bit til a stable aosp rom is made.

I built a kernel and tried installing but I got an error (error 1) in TWRP when flashing.
This is the first time I've ever built a kernel so I'm not surprised its not working but I'd be glad to link the source and crowdsource help from other members on here that know more about kernels.
I made it for the S6 flat though but I think they're compatible but idk
Are you trying to install the same version from the s6 because each version of the s6/edge variants have different kernals. You need to figure out what is with tour current lernal to make it work for the edge varient. Also you need to make sure you alter the zip to allow installation on a different model of phone.

Maybe you should double check to make sure your modified lernal uses similar processes and routines that the rom needs.

You will find the kernel source there.. Developing kernels is not done by unpacking its done by compiling..

Hi guys , this rom is for everybody who likes stock roms with NO MODS , this is just a small project to bring stock roms directly from Sammy without needing to do complicated odin flashing ,if you don't want to mess your phone , or if you just want a reliable fast alternative stock rom in a convenient zip file . On C model it will, on CD not sure , but I think it will , just have a backup ready in case things go wrong, also a kernel made for your model too.

I've been trying to find a working clean AOSP build and I was amazoed that none exist already.. so I downloaded the sources last night and set it building in a VM.. (that was a mistake it took 13 hours), however It seems to build cleanly im just trying it out now to see what works.
Anyone have a clean (unmodified) working build already?
