Has anyone unlocked the bootloader galaxy 10s( sm-a107f/ds,Baseband- A107FXXS7BTI6) ? - Samsung Galaxy A10 Questions & Answers

Hello.
My device is Samsung Galaxy A10s (sm-a107f/ds) running android 10 security patch 1st september, Baseband- A107FXXS7BTI6 .
I want to unlock the bootloader to root my phone using magisk. After enabling OEM unlock and USB debugging from developer options , I turned off my phone and while connecting it to pc I pressed the vol up + vol down to go to the unlock menu. There I long pressed the vol button as instructed to unlock the bootloader. And when it asks to press the vol up again to confirm, nothing happens. It just restarts as usual ( someone said to press the vol up continuously until the phone restarts. Did that too but the result is same ).
At first I thought that it might be a firmware problem so I downloaded the firmware from this website ( samfw. * com/firmware/SM-A107F/XME/A107FXXS7BTI6 ) and flashed the BL and AP using odin. But the result is same.
Can anyone please help me ?? :crying: :crying:
P.S. : From the recovery mode I can not Reboot to bootloader, the device just restarts as usual.

It's a bug. Keep trying to press the VOL UP button when it asks and keep it pressed even after reboot. Keep booting to download mode and doing this until it works.

sir can you help me on this one?

ok I figured it out....
At first I was flashing these 4 files AP, BL, CP, CSC_OMC_OLM using the Odin as it is said in the 3.14 version to provide the CSC file. Whereas when I flashed these files AP, BL, CP, HOME_CSC_OMC_OLM the bootloader unlocked instantly. ( HOME_CSC_OMC_OLM instead of CSC_OMC_OLM ) .
That's it.
P.S. : And by instantly I mean pressing vol up + vol down while connecting it to pc and then long press vol up and press vol up again to continue.

flashing failed, and dont know what to do

Hi there, recently a friend of mine who is on china brought me a souvenir, Yes it was Samsung Galaxy SIII. And yes again, it is my first android phone.
The phone comes with no play store and heck a lot of chinese apps from china-unicom one of the biggest operator in china.
I know nothing about chinese (chinese as in the letter) hence i read forums, and i downloaded the ROM for indonesia Galaxy I9300, and I flash the phone using ODIN v3.04. and Unfortunately, or the flashing failed and now my phone is stuck at "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, please select recovery mode in KIES & Try again"
I downloaded the KIES, and when i found the "EMERGENCY FIRMWARE RECOVERY, he asked me for pin which i dont know.
any help is appreciated
Cheers
Win Chandra
Just flash the firmware again using Odin v1.85.
That would do the trick.
Just get the phone in download mode and flash it.

I would say to first get the phone unlocked and then you can flash another rom. There are some apps on playstore to unlock a phone i think.
Use supercurio's galaxy s3 unlock from market and use mskip's "galaxy s3 toolkit v.4" to get root, cwm, backup(to pc) and flash though Odin. Perfect noob toolbox for flashing.
remember to backup your EFS folder with K-TOOL(very important) , get it from market
I cant get the phone into download mode. The download mode is when you press and hold the vol down + power + home right? But nothing happened

Power off the phone. Then press vol down + home key and after 2 sec the power key. After that hold them for around 4,5 seconds.

So that means you can get into download mode, which is a good thing. Go to www.sammobile.com, signup and enter you device and model number, download a stock firmware and flash through odin. Do NOT tick repartition or use a .pit file. Put it in the PDA and flash.

My Galaxy S2 blocked on boot

I wanted to install a new rom,I reboot my phone and I installed something what I found on my micro SD,I confused something with the file of new rom,and now it doesn't start, only what I see after 1 hour is the image of boot (Samsung Galaxy S II, like that image http://www.gophoto.it/view.php?i=htt...ootingsgs5.jpg)
What can I do to start my android ?
Sorry for my little english
it's pity....it's pity that you post your noob question in general forum.
about your "problem": do a wipe/factory reset from recovery, first of all. if your problem won't be solved then reflash any other firmware through odin
take your battery out, put it back
hold:
volume up + home + power, when GSII logo shows up release them, it will enter recovery mode
reflash your rom, kernel and stuff
if nothing works download odin (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278)
hold volume down + home + power, will enter download mode
from there you can flash stock ROM using odin. Take a look at the guide above.
post with more details next time.

afaik if it the screen turns on, even only for SII logo, you can enter download mode.
with the phone turned off hold vol down + home + power it will show a warning screen.
if you can't do that then take to samsung repair center, they know how to do it.

Man...U'd be kind as people tried to help u
Be sure u press buttons at phone off : power+home+vol down (together at same time & release just pow button while i9100 splash screen appears) >>>> it'll enter to download mode then u can advance to flash with Odin3 1.85 (this is the most compatible Odin w/ i9100).
if u couldn't access d/l mode by as per above make sure u've adb in ur PC, connect them by USB then type in adb terminal "adb reboot download" (without quotes) to enter d/l mode.
Neither means u've hardbricked ur phone..

Help! Phone won't stop rebooting! S6 edge sm-g925i

I woke up yesterday and found my phone dead.
It keeps rebooting and I am stuck on the Samsung logo screen.
The notification light on the upper left side stays on when the phone has power.
I am NOT able to get in recovery mode, but I can get in download mode.
Holding the power button won't turn off the phone, I have to hold volume down + power button to turn it off.
Things that I've tried:
1. Kies and Smartswitch (Succeed! But the phone won't go further than the Samsung logo screen and it continues to reboot and reboot)
2. flashing firmware downloaded from sammobile with odin (I've downloaded 3 firmwares, two 6.01 and one 5.11, the two 6.01 work, it says "PASSED," then my phone reboots and it's all the same. It won't go further than the logo screen. The 5.11 one doesn't work)
3. flashing stock recovery and twrp with odin, ( i tried a few versions of those, the worked ones say "PASSED," but I then get recovery is not seandroid enforcing or no message at all, either way I am still not able to get into recovery mode
Please Help!:crying::crying:

Flash the stock 6.0.1 firmware that passes before. When phone is bootlooping hold only POWER AND VOL DOWN. This will power off and boot into safe mode. As soon as it powers on hold HOME POWER AND UP. So you need to hold down and power then as soon as it goes off and boots to galaxy s6 edge powered by android press vol up aswell this should get you to recovery. Wipe data and cache and it should boot up. Keep me updated

See if the charger cable is connected, holding the vol down+power button wouldn't shut down the phone (or maybe it shuts it down but it just reboots itself up immediately again)
I held the vol down+power button, and switched to holding the vol up+home button+power when I saw the logo came up, and while I was holding them, the logo faded and all I had is a black screen. I kept holding it anyway for 2 minutes, nothing happened. :crying:
please advise

This is the one that I downloaded before. I extracted the zip, put the phone into download mode and connected it to the pc. Open Odin, press AP and chose the extracted file., "start". It passed and rebooted. But I am still stuck on the logo screen.
I also tried to separate the firmware files into AP and BL with script, it also passed, but I am still stuck!
What should I do?

Yeah they will always show up in download mode.
Try to flash one again, but uncheck auto reboot in odin, after flashing try to boot into recovery. How long did you leave it booting for? Sometimes first boot after flash can take up to 30 minutes.
If not keep trying the combo i said...
Power and down until phone reboots.
As soon as screen comes back on powered by android hold vol up home and power.
You have to be quick with it you have to get the recovery buttons as soon as it boots.
Or try boot into download mode, then as soon as you press up to cancel it phone will boot, as soon as you press cancel do recovery combo
