Tecmobile You 25 root

Hello,
After a long time looking ways to root the You 25, I've found the right way to do it.
The You 25 is very similar to Micromax A51, as some users suggested. It is based on broadcom cpu.
Quick characteristics: gb 2,3,7, 256Mb ram, 256Mb rom, 2Gb Sdcard, dual sims, 3g ....
On Win7: Disable antivirus
1) Download unlockroot23
2) Execute unlockroot23
3) Two items:
- execute install driver
- You 25ower off; take off batteryand back ; connect You 25 usb cable to the pc; wait driverdetection (popup tells adb installed or something similar); poweron you25; set it in debug mode and unknown source checked (in settings applications menu) ...
4) Execute unlookroot.exe
2 panes popup opens:
- Click on ROOT (in green) item on the left pane,
- Click on the detected You25 item on the right pane;
Normally rooting is executed (the root button greys on);
Once finished, the You25 reboots (I d'ont remember exactly ...)
After reboot, check for SuperSu icon is there.
Check su with terminal, should ask su access to SuperSu.
Thanks to forii, which I haven't bookmarked. Just in case: Browse with search " Micromax a51 root".

Tecmobile you25: Fixing vulnerabilities (trying)
Hello,
After the rooting, I try to fixmaster key vulnerabilities.
With the forii help ,many thanks to them, I come up with a solution:
- Install bluebox from Google play;
- Install Xposed framework for Gingerbread 2.3 (Xposedinstaller-2.2-2013005.apk (1.25Mb)) from androidforums.com);
- Install Master key fix (support Gingerbread) me.piebridge.masterkeyfixgb_v2-0d0824.apk from Xposed module repository repo.xposed.info
Once setup Xposed and install the module, running bluebox shows all fixed.

[ROM][RK3066][SD/HD] legacy: Coudu's modded ROMs

Here are v4 images for both screen resolutions in KLD variant:
BIG THANKS to @buccaneerbob for sharing the original FW before it was available anywhere else.
These are Android 4.4.4 based and SHOULD have BT ODB fixed (I don't have a bt odb adapter so I can't test, please report if it works or not).
KVV_4.4.4_XRESxYRES_yymmdd_rooted_light_reparted_init.d_v4:
rooted:
- ClockworkMod's Superuser apk, su binary and root daemon (root daemon needed on 4.3+ roms)
reparted: (seems popular these days )
- system reduced from 768MB to 512MB
- oem reduced from 128MB to 64MB
- data increased from 1GB to 3GB
- internal sd in now a bit less than 4GB
removed apks:
- Gmail2 (available on Play Store)
- Maps (available on Play Store)
- GoogleSearch (available on Play Store)
- VoiceSearch (included in GoogleSearch on Play Store)
- Talkback (available on Play Store)
- Google TTS and its libs and files (available on Play Store)
- Adobe Reader and its libs (available on Play Store)
- Instructions (surely useless, not relevant and badly translated from chinese...)
- Chinese and Japanese Keyboards (also removed their libs that are now useless)
- Navgear (just a stupid shortcut to the selected nav app in settings...)
updated/added apks:
- Google Play Store (updated to latest version)
- Google Play Services (updated to latest version with libs correctly installed so no more Google Play Services errors! Fixed on 1024x600 thanks to @ESTIMULO)
- Browser bookmarks sync adapter (added, missing in KLD and KGL)
- Google calendar sync adapter (added, missing in KGL)
- Google contacts sync adapter (added, missing in KGL)
modded:
- init.d support added (late in boot process so every external storages are mounted), you can drop your scripts to /etc/init.d (chmod 755)
- added compatibility symlinks for storage mount points (it may fix issues with apps using hard-coded path to access sdcards and usb, if not it won't hurt anywway!)
- flash_image binary by Androtab, with dump_image and erase image symlinks to flash/erase/dump full partitions (dump_image return an error at the end but you can ignore it, dump is valid)
IT WILL WIPE YOUR DATA AND INTERNAL SD so backup first!
Please note that 1024x600 versions are untested as I don't own such a device but it's modded the same way so it should work flawlessly.
Updated TWRP image
This is an updated Team Win Recovery Project image based on 2.7.0.0 by Abdul from freaktabs (most credits goes to him! )
Updated fstab to new KK part scheme (was mounting kpanic and oem instead of system and internal sd)
updated kernel, modules and config files (full SElinux support)
Still no touchscreen you have to use a mouse. I've spent days trying to make touchscreen work but no luck, I'm starting to think that touchscreen is handled by mcu which then emulates a touch device or some weird things like that...
Now with a 1024x600 image
Please note that 1024x600 version is untested as I don't own such a device but it's Updated the same way so it should work.

How to flash recoveries back and forth to backup/restore data over flashes
Install Jack Palevich's Terminal Emulator for Android from Play Store and use a root explorer to save the apk file to your sd card or usb storage.
Download flash_image binary and use a root explorer to copy it to /system/bin and change permission to 755 rwxr-xr-x (if you are on one of my modded fw it's already installed you can skip this step).
Launch Terminal Emulator and type su to gain root, then type cd /path/to/recovery/folder, then type flash_image recovery twrp.img
You now have twrp installed, type reboot recovery to reboot to twrp.
In twrp use a mouse and go to backup menu to backup data (do not backup to internal sd it will be formatted by update).
Now reboot to system and place update.img at the root of you external sd or usb storage but don't update if prompted
Launch Terminal Emulator and type su to gain root, then type cd /path/to/recovery/folder, then type flash_image recovery recovery.img
You now have standard recovery installed, type reboot recovery to reboot to recovery.
Now you can flash update.img from the menu using power button.
When back into Android use backed up Jack Palevich's Terminal Emulator for Android apk to reinstall it quickly without having to set up google account.
Launch Terminal Emulator and type su to gain root, then type cd /path/to/recovery/folder, then type flash_image recovery twrp.img
You now have twrp installed, type reboot recovery to reboot to twrp.
In twrp use a mouse and go to restore menu to restore data.

Passing SafetyNet on Android Emulator

Hi. has anyone experimented with passing the SafetyNet check on an Android Studio x86 emulator? I have tried MagiskHide props config with forcing basic attestation together with Universal SafetyNet fix, as well as hiding Magisk and root denylist, but both Basic Integrity and CTF profile match output 'false' (Fail) in YASNAC safetynet checker. I understand there are other things at play here - Safetynet API is trying to detect whether the OS is running in an emulator, but, other than looking in build.props config file, what else does the Safetynet API check?
I currently have exactly the same problem. Have you by any chance found a solution for the problem in the meantime?
Also so it works on Android Devices, iam not sure if it works on an Emulator!!!
Magisk_Module_+_Uninstaller << Here the Files
-Install Magisk.apk App from /sdcard/ and start Magisk App
-go to Settings and Enable "Zygisk" Option
-Setup the Denie-List with Apps you would hide Root (Especially Banking-Apps and other the dont start in Rooted-Device)
-Setup "Hide-Magisk-App" and choose a name 4 the new Shortcut
-Now The App starts again
-goto Modules and choose "Setup from Internal_storage" and Install "MagiskHidePropsConf-v6.1.2.zip" & "safetynet-fix-v2.4.0.zip" without Restart the Device!!!
-After that reboot the Device
-Now Setup a Terminal_Emulator/Termux/etc.. from PlayStore!!!
-open your Terminal on Android and Type the following command
su
props
choose 1
choose f
choose your Device in next 2 Steps!!
(Samsung - 26 / Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019 - 84)
choose y
choose y to reboot Device!!
-After Reboot open Settings and go to Apps
show all and choose
1# Google-PlayStore and Clear Stored-Datas/ Clear Cache
than goto
2# Google-PlayServices and Clear Stored-Datas/ Clear Cache
-Now you can Download "YASNAC SafetyNet Checker" from Playstore and can Check the Status!!!
-Finish!!!!!!
