anyone want to buy a pink one?

It's 2 months old, and has just come back from repair at HTC where they fixed an LCD fault by, well, replacing all the innards so it's brand new.
Boxed, with all accessories.
I'm in the UK and before I stick it on ebay, anyone want to make me an offer? Stock ROM but I'll flash the latest and greatest for you if you'd prefer.

Where is the best place to buy a GSII?

I know the US model is coming out VERY soon but I really want to get this phone. Right now I am an infuse owner and was looking to just buy this outright since I used my upgrade on the infuse a couple months ago. Where do you guy recommend me ordering one? Or the one that seems to be the most reliable? I was looking at amazon and a few other site but just cant decide. Thanks in advance!
Amazon. Nowhere will you get a warranty (aside from Expansys USA which offers mail in warranty back to the UK).
Plus with Amazon, my box was sealed and I got a Brazilian model that's one of the first to get 2.3.4.

Was that ordered directly from amazon, or from a 3rd party store fulfilled by amazon?
Also, they have used-like new galaxy s2 for $629.99, that qualifies for SquareTrade.

Directly from Amazon (i.e. "ships from and sold by Amazon.com"). I'm not fond of resellers for unlocked phones. I once ordered a Nexus S I9020A (for AT&T's network) from a reseller on Amazon. Sure enough, I received an I9023 (European model - not compatible with AT&T). I promptly returned it. I just trust Amazon direct and don't like rolling the dice with 3rd part sellers.
Careful on the open box...I ordered an open box SGSII from Amazon and received a friggin Verizon phone (used and beat up). Some jerkoff stole the SGSII and returned the box with a Verizon phone in it. See my photo on the product listing.
I have never ever had any issues with Warehouse deals (open box) items from Amazon, but got burned pretty bad with that one. The good news is Amazon kindly credited my account for the return and even gave me a $50 credit, making a brand new SGSII the same price. Can't ask for more than that.
I bought my gs2 from Popular Electronics, who is based in Chicago. I live in Canada. Interesting experience with these guys. They have their store warranty, which is useful. I'm not sure how long that warranty is for. They ship free to the US too. Right now, the phone is cheaper than the one on Amazon. Plus, they have a "Low price guarantee" and will match any other prices anyway.
I'm from Canada. My first phone gs2 (brand new, fully sealed with seal sticker) was defected (hardware, touch screen didn't work lol). I called them and they gladly helped me with a replacement phone. I had to pay to ship it to them though 2nd phone, another hardware defect (line of dead pixels). Once again, it was brand new and fully sealed. They couldn't believe that of all the customers they've sold the gs2 to, I was the unlucky one to have 2 faulty phones. They took that one back too and sent me my current gs2 which runs perfectly smooth. If you call them, ask for Tahal (possibly spelled as Taha) He is the man!

If you mean this photo: (http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-m...TBQ2C/ref=cm_ciu_pdp_images_0?ie=UTF8&index=0) I've seen it. With the difference of ~$30 or so, I think it is worth the risk...

Yep, that is my photo. Imagine how pissed I was when I got home, ripped the box open only to discover that...
As usual, Amazon made it right. It does piss me off that someone swapped it and made off with a SGSII. They probably paid like $100 on craigslist for that Verizon junk. Punk.

Buying a digitizer

My digitizer broke a while ago and now that I got a job I was looking to buy a new one, but I can't spend a lot of money on it, yet I have the feeling the ones I'm seeing on ebay for $30 will be pretty cheap and will break easily. Does anyone know how much an official digitizer, or at least a good OEM one is selling for nowadays? A friend of mine is going to the US next month so I will ask her to buy me one there as it will be much more cheaper than buying one on my country. I'm looking to spend less than 100 dollars on it, I wouldn't be able to afford anything more than that.
Thanks!
I've heard there are some quite reputable sellers on Amazon. You should be able to get a decent one for $30-$40. Plus, Amazon has a free shipping option for orders of $25 or more (at least in the US).
I bought a cheap one of ebay from China or Hong kong and its been fine for over 6 months

Buy one new with a frame (not just the glass). I've done a few. Also, follow a guide that also removes the LCD. Do not fall pray to trying to thread the digitizer ribbon through the whole as you risk ripping it. Figure up to $40 is normal. I had new last week where the new digitizer was no good, so be prepared to do the work more than once and take your time.

I got one on Amazon 33.00 it didn't work after 3 it works great only played for 1 and they refunded me on the one I have installed now and working they honor the Warranty the ribbons are not genuine tear easy have to be very careful.and remove the LCD makes it easy to prevent damage to digitizer ribbon.

Can you tell me which one you bought? I need to buy one and I want to be sure to buy one that will work.
I have found that it can be hit or miss and have had both good and bad product from the same supplier. They are all untested digitizers.

I'm based in India, and the seller was "India" based on the ebay address, but when I got the product, it was shipped from HongKong. I can send the details of the supplier who had send the digitizer to me. I do not know about the authenticity of this HongKong Based supplier though!!
And as said above, it can be a hit or miss from the same supplier too.
i just installed a new digitizer on my atrix, it is a little hesitant at times but it works great. got it on ebay from a seller in New Orleans. I can dig up seller store info if ya want!

[Q] Sony ZU C6833 from Ebay???

Hi guys,
I'm looking for a cheap deal for the phone for Christmas. After checking the usual mobile network deals I'm not convinced to pay £38/ month for 2 years.
Instead I saw new phones on ebay for £370 from a trusted seller.
Phones come from "outside UK" warehouse(I'm located in the UK) with 2 pin plug. I wonder if these are dodgy deals, or worth trying it?
The seller itself is providing the warranty for one year and they have very good feedback.
Here is one : LINK
I simply could not find a cheaper one around. DO you think I could go ahead with the buy?

e_cell has absolutely no warranty on the phone. I asked them previously and here is the answer:
"Dear soniboy84,
We appreciated your email and thank you for showing interest with our item.
Please be advised that this item is sold without warranty, express or implied. Should you want to avail of a warranty for your item, you may purchase one separately from SquareTrade.
Should you have any other inquiries, please contact us again.
Kind regards,
Elise"
So no. No e_cell.

Hmmm, I'm probably in the minority here but I'd beware. Their shipping them in from China and for that price I wouldn't be at all surprised if they're clones. They do have good feedback, but I just don't see how they could possibly sell the real article that cheap without it being dodgy. My guess is if you were able to get it on a network, it would get locked soon after. The other reason I think it's unsafe is that the warranty is with themselves, not an official Sony warranty, which basically means there isn't one.
I'd steer clear.

Thanks for the feedback, that's what I'm looking for.
I'm about 50-50% and I need some more either negative or positive feedback about it to decide.
The problem is that the next phone up on ebay is £419 which is quite high :S
I want to stay on 3 network, so most online phone shops(carphone, mobiles, etc) is out

Now that you mention it, i cant see anywhere in there posts that say anything about warranty
This'll be my next bet, shame about the long delivery :/ only about a week but still http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121213772308?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
Don't.
They're the same. Everything comes from China to the UK, then they post via Royal mail from the UK.
Pretty sure we can wipe our butt with the warranty!

Cheap Pocophone Deal or Scam?

Hi guys, came across this deal for a F1 for $84 AUD, shipped on eBay. I have a feeling it's a scam, but all the details seem to be pretty legit. Worth it to take a risk and just file a dispute on eBay and/or Paypal if the phone never turns up or isn't a genuine one?
EDIT: Forgot to add the eBay link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Unlocked-N...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
Price sounds as fishy as it could be. Better to stay away from such deals. Who knows if it's a refurbished device or one with substandard parts.

Yeah, I'm thinking that too, but I sort of want to give it a go as a backup device and a base to live the good old days of custom ROMS and so on... I've updated the OP with the eBay link, it does look pretty legit aside from the price
wow , very interesting deal, hmmm the seller is a member since 2002 , no joke ,even earlier then me , but still skeptical about the price , could be clones
It's weird that the seller has 100% rating, the seller has only 7 feedback this year.
Even though the seller seems legit, it's weird that they can sell a newly launched device for so less, its quite tempting though.
Tried the link. Either the link is broken or the phone has been removed by eBay or the seller. ??
Yes, the listing was posted from hacked account as per eBay and now they are offering refunds
That's a shame, solid on eBay's part for discovering it pretty quickly and redoing everything though
if it's too good to be true on ebay, it's a hacked account 99.99%. if you have the time and patience go for it. 99.99% of the time , you will be wasting time and effort.
Was it one off hack account or mass ? Hmmm thinking to delete mine old account
