Just replaced my screen (+frame) and it works fine, but now speaker-phone no worky. - Samsung Galaxy A10 Questions & Answers

I should have just replaced the LCD and not ordered the frame, but I didn't know what it was. I am thinking that this speaker got damaged somehow when I was transferring the parts over, but the handset works. It just stops working when I turn on speaker-phone.
What would do that?

<internal speaker not working after screen replacement

After replacing my touch screen the internal speaker is not working anymore. I can only find external speakers for the TP2 on sites like ebay.
Anyone who knows how to find this part?
Now I can only use the external microphone to communicate. I just noticed that when I am charging the battery and switch from external to internal speaker, the telephone stops charging. (Charging light indicator is orange when I use internal speaker and is off when I switch to external speaker) Could this mean that something is wrong in the elec. scheme?

First of all hard reset and use your phone with no extra progs.
THen if the issues insists go there
http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=...h+pro+2&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
and ask everybody on that list if they can get the internal speaker you need.
most probably it is common , and someone just needs to go into the trouble of finding exactly which model it is!
I am pretty confident it is gonna prove to be the same as the diamond 2 (maybe you recall from when you opened it up if it is the same!)

An since you are already familiar with it, why not give it another go with dismantling the phone and putting back together (maybe a loose connection somewhere?!)
Thnx!
It is the part in the first link you gave me. I couldn't find it cheaper as that ebay link! It a used part, but if it works it's good enough
This instruction video helped us a lot with replacing the screen. (and braking the speaker :s)

again, did you do it?
Dissapeared ???
I had the same issue happen after I changed my digitizer upon reassemble I realized that upon removing the flex cable I missed the most important thing when removing the flex cable to lift the internal. Speaker with the clex if not the connection between the two will snap very easy and viola your stuck using spkr phone like me just buy a new flex cable and you back in business or soder it either way
Sent from my MSM using XDA App
i have the same problem since yesterday ..the internal speaker has loose contact and i have to press the phone hard to hear something..with loudspeakers it works normal
what can i do?

Internal Audio not working (hardware)

Hey guys, I have a hardware issue but first the background story
So my phone fell on concrete and the screen broke. I bought a digitizer and replaced it myself. After a month or so, I broke it again. I replaced it, but the unit I got was faulty, and I only got the replacement today.
I opened the phone again and replaced the digitizer, and it's working great!
however in the process I must have done something wrong since my audio/sound doesn't work anymore.
1)Loud speaker works just fine and the microphone works since I am able to talk to people and they hear me
2) When I plug in my earset, the sound works just fine on the earphone. The microphone switches over the earset's microphone and I can hear/talk just fine.
The only problem that I have is I can't hear anything if i put phone next to my ear :/ I opened again looked around, but didn't find anything obvious that might explain wha went wrong. Would anyone know where to look/what to test?
Cheers
anyone any idea please? D:
I haven't opened up my Mozart just yet but from my experience with HTC phones I would suggest checking the contacts of the speaker. They tend to have little springs on the speaker that come in contact with the mainboard and this is how the signal is transmitted. If these contacts are damaged then you will not hear anything.
With all the drops you may have damaged the speaker itself but I'm not sure of a way you could test that.
The problem i had was that I used my sony ericsson X8 headset and the sound came out funny, the thing that was cuasing it was the microphone. Try stock headset to see if it works. If it doesnt then you might want to get someone to check it or fix it. Up to you.

[Q] Earpiece speaker broken after glass replacement

So, I've replaced the phone's glass/digitizer, and after reassembly, everything but the earpiece speaker is functioning. Upon closer examination it looks like this piece:

has fallen off. It's ridiculously tiny:
i44.tinypic(dotcom)/2ykkhad.jpg
Is this piece even sure to be the reason the earpiece won't work? If so, is there any way it can be reattached, or am I totally screwed?
Did you ever find a solution to this?
I am also wondering if you figured this out.
I have an Atrix that worked fine for months but one day the speaker stopped working. We had it sent it for warranty repair and it came back only to work once. It appeared to be working but the speaker 'popped' and stopped working as soon as we turned up the volume.
I then bought a replacement speaker ribbon cable myself and after putting it in, the exact same thing happened again: On first impression the new speaker worked, but then we turned up the volume and *pop*, the speaker is broken.
Upon looking at the speaker that I pulled out during my own replacement, there is a resistor missing like in your pictures. However, it's a different one of the six. I am willing to bet that the speaker in the phone now is also missing a resistor since the pop.

No Sound

I have a Vibrant on which the sound stopped working. I would appreciate any input on diagnosing the issue.
I bought the phone for my daughter to use as an PMP with no cell service. It got it super cheap because it wasn't working. The previous owner had gotten it wet, which is confirmed by the water damage indicators. He said it worked up until he couldn't get it to turn on. I diagnosed an issue with the power button and replaced it. It powered on and worked fine all day. The one issue I noticed was that it wouldn't shut down all the way. It gets stuck on the pink square that says, "good bye" and then I have to remove the battery.
My daughter spent the evening playing Bag Piggies and Happy Street with the sound working fine. After she went to bed I loaded some music on it via a USB cable. I think the sound may have stopped after that, but am not sure. When I got up this morning no sound would come from the speaker or the headphone jack. Otherwise, it works fine. Though no sound comes out of the headphones the player stops when I remove the headphones, so it must know the headphones are in. Sound does work when I connect it to my Blue Tooth speaker. I tried a factory reset, but it didn't make any difference.
I read in another thread that someone said something about the sound, light and proximity sensors are all connected by one cable. I can't test the proximity sensor because I can't use the phone function, but it seems that the light sensor isn't working. With auto brightness on the brightness doesn't change when I cover the sensor or hold it up to light. I did disconnect this cable and re-connect it a couple of times, but nothing made any difference.

What Rom are you running?
It is stock, but it is rooted.
I am pretty sure it is the part that is all connected between the earpiece, headphone jack and sensors. I ordered a replacement from e-bay which looks exactly the same, but the plug is just a tiny bit different, so it didn't work. Frustrating.
You should use Odin to flash a stock firmware first to see if it solve the issue with the shut down.
About the parts, you might have gotten the S4G (T959V) headphone jack which if I remember correctly do no fit the T959. However, the speaker, camera, slimslot and screen are exchangeable between the two.

Microphone not working after replacing screen

Hi,
I replaced my screen today.
I bought a full assembly with mid frame and screen included.
Everything is working fine except the microphone.
Speaker, thrill motor is working.
When using speaker mode the upper mike is working.
I checked all connections and reseated every flatcable, but no improvement.
Any clues or do i need to replace the powerboard.
So I replaced the power board, but the issue unfortunately remains the same.
Lower microphone is not working.
Anyone have an idea on what it might be?
Hi, i have the exact same proble, did you manage to fix this?
Hi, any solution yet?
