If you didn't fi d any already I don't think it will happen. There are very few people using a projector, so the need isn't to great for someone to develop a ROM. Unless you learn how to do it and have the source side, it's a lost cause.
Here's how to do it, if the source code is available :

[Q] Android Devices Currently Not Supported By Cyanogenmod

Hello Guys,
Could anyone please provide some info about this case:
o What are my options if I have an Android device (smartphone) not supported by CyanogenMod?
o Is there anything than waiting until my model will be added to the supported list? I bought a very simple and reasonably priced "no-name" phone (Simvalley SP-2X.SLIM), and I learn now one disadvantage is that it is not supported.
o I also did not find anything about rooting, flashing or even booting it up into safe mode / recovery.
Any help and info is very much appreciated.

Hy there, you can try TWRP Manager. It's a similar program

Well, here it is straight forward, your device only gets official support if the Cyanogenmod teams deems the unofficial build for it stable and reliable to gain official support. If there isn't any unofficial builds then it's safe to say that it will never have official support. As for rooting the device there may be methods for it available, a universal root for example, flashing as in roms and other things, no clue, never heard of that device before and there might not be any support for it either. So with that being said, hope this helps you.

Hi Yoelpro,
Thanks for your info. Since my first post I have managed to root my device - was very happy. It was not too easy, given that it is extremely minimal supported. I already tried TWRP with GooManager, but when I try to install an open recovery sript, surprise surprise: "no recoveries were found for your device".
Any ideas if there is another way to find one and copy it on the phone? I have to confess being too scared even trying to flash a custom ROM without flashing a backup first. I managed to find out that the stock ROM is a Vanilla on my Simvalley SP-2X.SLIM.
Thank you.

Hey there Critical Detox
Thanks for your info. Since my first post I have managed to root my device: Simvalley SP-2X.SLIM - was very happy to see that it is working.
Unfortunately, I could not even find an unofficial CM build, I'm quite sure that an official build does not exist. Interestingly, my device was once perfectly recognized as SP-2X.SLIM and once recognised as HTC (for drivers) during the rooting. I'm very curious IF or AS WHAT my device would be recognized if I started the one click install of CM. I might be a chicken, but a careful chicken as I don't want to do it before saving a backup of the stock ROM to my SD card first. When I try to install an open recovery sript (GooManager), surprise surprise: "no recoveries were found for your device". I managed to find out that the stock ROM on my device is a Vanilla 4.2.2 but could I not find this ROM to download yet.
Any help is very welcome, as I am not quite an expert and my phone is a quasi no-name model.
Cheers,
schmayer

[Q] Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus, Multiboot Possible?

Hi! I want to know if its Possible to use Boot Manager Pro (available on Play Store) or some other app or any way that might Help me in installing multiple custom/Official ROMs on Octane Plus without having to format other/previous ROM.
I like many custom ROMs that are out there for this mobile, I heard about this app called Boot Manager Pro and I'm very much interested if I can to something Like this on Octane Plus or Not?
Also I'm using ROEHSOFT RAM Expander which helped me extend RAM on this mobile which usually don't work on many other Androids, Currently I'm Using "Vibe_v2.0_1501_by_himura2051" ROM which is the fastest ROM I've experienced yet and i also very much want to know If its possible to upgrade this mobile to Android 5.0 Lollipop or not because somewhere i found article regarding Custom Lollipop ROM here for this mobile - lollipop-lollipop.org/2014/12/karbonn-titanium-octane-plus-6219.html, but I tried everything i could think of to download it it, but i Could not.... IS IT FAKE? so anyway I'm hopping it might also be possible to use Multiple ROMs on this mobile.
Plz HELP!!! Mighty XDA-Developers. (You Guy's are my only hope it seems)
Thanks.

1. I tried using Boot manager pro, it does not officially supports this phone. So we have to manually enter the block sizes etc. This can be found using 'readback' function in SP Flash tool. Will try that later and report the result.
2. Lollipop-lollipop.org is fake. No 5.0 yet.
3. Official lollipop update - no idea, may or may not come. And even if it comes, will be quiet late.
4. Unofficial - somebody needs to compile a custom kernel from source.

I see, I don't really understand the concept of block size, yes i saw it in lite version of this app, yup it was something like that...
Good Luck! I'm eagerly hoping u get good results, I'll also try what 'readback' u mentioned on SP Flash.
Uh-i see so no lollipop , i think most probably it won't get Official Android L Rom, But i wish somebody/anybody unofficially customizes/build any Android L ROM suitable for octane plus.

Huawei Matepad T8

Dear Friends
I have bought a Huawei Mediapad T8 and I am trying to find a custom ROM to flash it. Unfortunately there is nothing on Cyanogenmod site.
If anyone has any reference site where I can find ROM s for this model please share it with me.
Sincerely
Konstantinos
Mediapad T8 has android 10 - so it can be part of Project Treble since it is 8+ - it means, you can flash GSI (generic system image) of many of custom roms and no need for certain full rom.
But, I guess, you will need to unlock bootloader and got permissive kernel and probably need to remove encryption for user data before got bootable custom rom.

Dear Friend
Thank you very much for replying to my thread. I admit that it is the first time that I heard about GSI (Generic System Image). I am looking for a custom rom so I can use the Play Store that is now missing from most Huawei devices. Unlocking bootloader is not so hard , I can get the code from Huawei in 7 months from now. Dealing with the GSI is something that I can not manage to be honest. I will wait for a custom rom. Thanx again.
Sincerely
Konstantinos
@coa00kt
Actually there are more than 10 Custom ROMs available:
https://fossbytes.com/android-custom-roms/
Dear Friend
Thank you for the link. Which one is for Huawei Matepad T8? I can't find anything.
Please help

@coa00kt
Take note that any Android OS ( Stock ROM and/or Custom ROM ) you intend to install isn't device's model/brand dependant, but on device's CPU architecture. Almost all Android device's are powered by an ARM CPU.
Dear Friend
I am a noobie. Which ROM do you suggest for Mediatek MT8768 chipset (Octa-core 4x2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x1.50 GHz Cortex A53)?
Sincerely
Konstantinos
@coa00kt
Can't recommend any because I never used a Custom ROM: I have reasons for this.
Dear Friends
The main reason that I am looking a custom ROM is the advantage of using "Play Store". Otherwise Huawei Android 10 is just fine. Please help me find something that will work 100%. Otherwise I will stay with Huawei Android 10.
Thanx again

Dear friend,
In the meanwhile you can use GPStore alternatives like Aurora store or ApkPure or ApkMirror for apps that can not be found on Huawei's AppGallery.
On the other hand, you can install about 8 to 10 apps from Huawei phone/tablet (before US sticky fingers) in the form of backup and restore them to your tablet. Tutorial like this is simmilar for all phones. Also found some backup on GDrive for HiSuite or usb restore.

Hello Friend
I have installed APKPure , it is very usefull. About 80% percent of the applications are running fine. Unfortunately about 20% require the Google Play Services. I will stick to this solution until Huawei provides me the Bootloader Code (After 12 Months) and a custom rom is created .

Hi
You can just flash GApps pico. It installs Play Store and Google Service.
Do you know if Google apps pico require an unlocked bootloader? What is the process? Do I have to install custom recovery?
Hello.
Please, can someone extract the original apk from the notes and post here? I accidentally deleted mine and now I can't find it. Thanks.
Hi there, i managed to install a google account and a working playstore via this youtube tutorial, and google services is working outside of an irritating notification which you can turn off.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZVF9W-H228
The only thing is i don't know if i can upgrade firmware with out losing google apps again i'm on firmware 10.0.1
How to unlock the bootloader?

i wouldnt recommend installing a custom rom that is not specifically for your device, especially if you are a noobie. the devices appart from the SOC have many components that require specific drivers. in any case, you have to be extra carefull in following the instructions otherwise ou ll end up with a brick. your best bet is to find a recovery (again for your device) and flash open gapps.

But huawei doesn't provide bootloader unlock codes anymore
Is it possible to root Matepad T8 ?
I think you no longer need Custom ROM to use GApps into this device. I have bought this device few days ago and found a way to run GApps. Just open Huawei AppGallery and look for "GSpace", it will solve GApps issue.

Update android from 4.4.2 to 5.0+ on hisilicon TV Box

I have been trying to find a method to update the android version on Hisilicon Hi3796 M100 android Set top box which is at present running android 4.4.2. As the android is this old, it doesn't support a good number of apps, from playstore, or by adb. I tried to find a custom rom online, but couldn't find. Is there one? Or is there any way to update the os if there is no official update available?
Moving from Android 4.4.2 to Android 5.0+ is an upgrade not an update.
To upgrade you need a Custom ROM what requires you have to flash a Custom Recovery ( e.g. TWRP ) before. Do you have a 100% matching TWRP available?
Hey,
Thank you for the quick reply. And thank you again for correcting that update-upgrade thing. Will keep it in mind.
And I am sorry I couldn't find a custom ROM for my device online. I am not sure what exactly it means by flashing a custom recovery.
Could you please explain it a little bit... or give some link from where I could find it out?
Thank you.

A Stock ROM is the ROM that gets installed by manufacturer on the Android device.
What you want to achieve is to replace phone's Stock ROM ( is Android 11, HIOS 7.6, got compiled by Techno Spark ) by an Android 12 ROM what is suitable for this device. Either ask Techno Spark for such a matching ROM - don't think they can offer one ) or do a Google search for it.

Installing a GSI is device-dependent. Refer to your device's manufacturer for the exact tools and procedures.
