I am Mi 10 Global version with single sim card. I have purchased dual card trays. So Can I flash Indian version system to enable dual sim,and lock bootload after. Will it be bricked? used the Indian version k20 pro before, it no have NFC, so I would like to ask if the Mi 10 Indian version has any missing features compared to the global version?

I'm using a redmi note 3 (Snapdragon). When I insert single sim in any of the 2 slots it is fine. But when I insert dual sim, even the device recognize my 2 sims but there is 'No service' shown on the network bar for both sim. So i can't use dual sim. But i can use single sim in any of the 2 slots. What can I do now? Please help me

Same problem here. I insert sim 2, switch phone on and off, remove sim tray insert sim 1, switch phone on and both sims work. I don't know why.
I have this issue aswell is it software or hardware issue? I am on global 7.3.2.0 rom

Hi people, I'm having same issue on my RN3 Pro 16GB bought in GearBest. I can use single sim on any slot but dual sim does not work. I can't even turn off the second SIM in the settings.

Solved flashing MIUI 7.3.7 Global Stable following the guidelines from the oficial miui forums.
Dual sim working, faster bootup, less bloatware.

Your rom is "cooked" by the seller. Maybe it will be better to change it with something official and stock.

There are basically four version.
1. Global version - snapdragon
2. China version - snapdragon
3. China version - mediatek
4. Tawain version - special edition.
The snapdragon version are refered to as pro. As long as you buy the pro version, you can flash global or china rom. So just go and buy global version.

Nice. Then you mean that we have one version of redmi note 3 pro. But we have 2 versions of rom china and global. And i can install wich one i wan't.

Yup. Thast pretty much it. There is another redmi note 3 pro special edition which is only available in taiwan.

The phone was bought from China and has a lot of chinese apps inside. Some of the texts are still in chinese even after changing the language to english.

Do you have Snapdragon (Mido) or Mediatek (Nikel) variant?
Also what is your current firmware version?

My Service provider deleted the dual sim function on my phone and looks like only way to get it back to dual sim mode is by replacing build prop file from a working dual sim model...
