OnePlus native call recording

Found an app that enable the OxygenOS built in feature with some nice addons like search
It does cost money, I used the trial and it's actually works great
{Mod edit: Link removed}
Procedure sounds a bit fishy? not saying it actually is, but granting permissions for someone to do stuff on your phone...
Also, OP: ido__ , app dev: Ido Company
The permissions is just for enabling the global write settings for the application itself.
Then, inside the application I'm able to set the flag of the call recording to true.
And since it is a global settings, that's why I need to be granted once.
Not that I don't believe you, but still not something I'd grant based on someone's word, unfortunately.
Yes, I understand. My best way of explaining me is
1. You can look at the website itself where it uses ADB across the USB from the browser, so the only adb command is to enable the global write settings for the app.
2. When you decompress the apk you (with some technical knowledge) can in fact confirm the only usage is the enable the call recording.
Since the flag you give permissions to is only to enable global settings, there are no malicious usages with that.

Question Can this phone be rooted?

Hello! I'm thinking about buying this phone, but I wasn't able to find a definitive confirmation if it can be rooted or not.
I've found this shady looking site which claims it can be rooted and unlocked pretty easily, but I don't want to base my purchase on it.
{Mod edit: Link removed}
Unlock:
fastboot flashing unlock
Root:
Magisk/Kingroot/One-click root
Is it really that simple?
Thanks!

It was {Mod edit}, so people know.
Apparently it's not a good source of information then, but my question still stands.

It doesn't matter if it's a link or a simple, easily understandable reference I've removed the link from your OP for a good reason. And as such I did the same in your quoted post.
We not only dislike links to shaddy sites because they are well known for the distribution of malware and warez but also because they are simply other phone related sites.

Hi.No solution was found upto now?
My Nokia 5.4 has to be rooted

How can I fix "This app isn't compatible with your device anymore." and "Device is not certified" on an Android device?

I have a OnePlus 7 Pro that is an excellent top end affordable phone. It's been working great for a year until a couple apps I depend on stopped working. One example app is Disney Plus. It will not work at all and will not show up in the Play Store. When I weblink to its Play listing, it says: "This app isn't compatible with your device anymore. Contact the developers for more info."
See my {Mod edit} post for more specifics:

Welcome to XDA! I hope you'll always find the support you require and that you recognise XDA is a great place to share experiences and knowledge.
However, first I've moved your thread from Android Apps & Games to Android Q&A as the thread didn't qualify for the first one. Second, I've removed the link to another phone related website from your above post and would appreciate if you consider to share "more specifics" here on XDA!

I have the same issue on my device too, I think this is common problem for OnePlus 7. I hope we can find answer for this...

General Very interesting threads for the Oneplus 10 pro about LineageOS and a brick recovery?

After going through the Oneplus 10 Pro forums, I found a post by yedashare about their phone getting bricked after flashing LineageOS and attempting to root it. First of all, this is the first I have heard of a custom rom so that is good I guess? second of all, they recovered their device (sort of) using a program that they found for Realme devices. They did have a crucial problem with not being able to charge the device, however another user had some input about a fix if it was not already too late... Is any of this helpful for this device? It seems to me like it is great news. Please don't go trying this program unless you know what you are doing, as you may have the same issues (I do not know what I am doing lmao)
Here is the post that I found: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/soft-bricked-oneplus-10-pro-that-worked-great-with-lineage-os.4527641/
Here is the program and their comments, look below for their problems: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...d-great-with-lineage-os.4527641/post-87838563

Don't get your hopes up. None of these are actually useful for a regular user. He flashed a GSI not an actual rom. There is always a chance that you can end up hard-bricking and if you do, Only way to recover is msm tool which is limited to Oppo technicians. I don't recommend anyone to tinker with the 10 series unless there is a proper unbrick tool.
Have a good day
