Where to get default recovery image? - Moto G Power Questions & Answers

Hello,
I’d like to re-install the genuine recovery-image (with fastbootD) instead of the TWRP I installed.
Where may I find this recovery-image?

Get the latest firmware, or whatever firmware matches what you had before flashing TWRP, and flash the recovery using:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

can't boot into fastboot or recovery, but the phone works

i bought from china the redmi note 2 and it came only with English and Chinese, and i wanted to install a global rom for it, in some instruction on xiaomi site/forum they said just download the rom, post in in the phone, enter the update app and there will be 3 dots, well i didn't had those dots, so i tried to flash custom recovery via flashify, it said all good, then i tried to enter recovery, it just doesn't let me(it gave me before the mi recovery, but when i tried to update zip from there it said invalid file).
so right now my phone is boot normaly into this chinese/english rom, everything works, but if i try to enter fastboot or recovery it just restart again and boot into the normal state
how can i reflash the recovery or get into the fastboot?
Install a Miui Developer Rom with root. Download flashify and flash twrp. Next flash your rom
that's how i have lost the recovery, i flashed via flashify the TWRP
i can't install miui developer rom without recovery
You can install anything with the MediaTek SP Flash Tool. Search for it on this forum or on Google.
install MI Flash Tool
then download fastboot developer rom or fastboot stable rom and flash it (not normal rom.zip but fastboot rom)
I have a similar problem - i tried to flash twrp recovery both by flashify and by fastboot flash and the recovery is simply not working. I can boot into fastboot without problems, or i can start the phone normally, but when i try to enter the recovery it just continuously reboots the phone and i have to take out the battery.
edit:
it appears i've been flashing wrong version of the recovery image, i flashed the one from this link and it worked - forum.androidurdu.net/showthread.php?tid=637

How do i unroot my LG V10?

Is there a way to unroot this device?
Thanks in advance
You'll need a computer and TWRP recovery installed on your device.
Assuming that you have those prerequisites, simply flash the stock ROM in TWRP like you would a custom ROM (the .zip can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmo.../lg-h901-stock-images-device-restore-t3241170)
Once you have that flashed, you can reboot into fastboot mode and install the stock recovery image using the "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" command or by using a flashable .zip (the stock system images can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63604156&postcount=1)
That should do it.
Would need to lock the bootloader if returning it or selling it. Do that last tho

There's answers around here use search.
First time flashing twrp with fastboot you need to flash a modified boot image as well.
Either TWRP version would be fine.

How to root with stock recovery?

Hey folks,
I just updated from b130 to b340 marshmallow and removing TWRP was a pain in the ass, as I wasn't able to update without stock recovery... Took me hours till I found a working method, as flashing the recovery.img from the official update didn't do nothing...
So long story short, I want to stay with stock recovery now so that I can receive OTA updates and stuff. However, I'm unsure on how to root without TWRP. Stock recovery doesn't seem to have an option to flash the supersu archive, so yeah...
Anyway know a way?
Or you can flash your TWRP recovery in place of your eRecovery, in order to do that follow these:
Boot your phone into bootloader mode.
Once in bootloader mode fire this command to flash TWRP recovery in place of eRecovery.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery2 twrp.img
Where twrp.img is the name of your TWRP recovery.
Hope this helps you.

How to flash stock recovery.img

Hi, i have a stock recovery image and I'm wondering how to flash it, can i flash via TWRP install image option or via ADB, and if via ADB how to flash it?
you can do it the both ways..
in twrp , you have to select install image option
in adb, going to bootloader and performing same procedure as you did for the twrp
