A question about the Cameras Stabilization - Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite Questions & Answers

Hi guys , I'm facing constant issues with my phone trying to take a good non shaky photo , No matter what I do and How stable is my hand , The photos are always shaky , I know there is no OIS But I have used alot of other phones including budget ones having better stabilization , Redmi note 8 pro for example , I wanted to
now if there's something to change in the settings of the camera reducing this stability issue ?
p.s I tried Gcam and have the same problem so if you have any suggestions for this matter as well would be great ty

First of all , english is not my first language , let me help you , go to playstore and find gcamator , the app will choose which gcam is suitable for the device , after that go to " your gcam " and tap install . After installing the gcam , go to gcam setting and find stabilization , im currently using the latest gcam and the stabilizer is good enough
Also you can go to google photos app and stabilize your video , find tutorial on youtube , have a nice day

60 fps video ??????

hello everyone!!
So i record a lot of videos using the Open Camera app and it is great but the only problem is that it can record a maximum of 30 fps .
I want to get 60 fps videos out of Open Camera app.
Now when i use Gcam to record videos then it allows me to shoot in 60 fps.
So this means that our RN3 is capable of recording 60fps .
It would be great if anyone can help me with this .
Is there any way to get 60 fps in other camera apps???? What should be done to achieve this???
What decides the fps a phone can shoot at??? Can it be tweaked through software????
and yes i have tried it in a lot of rom its same in all of them.
Right now i am using aex noughat rom with stock kernel.
not sure but might be related to camera2 api.
Having used the gcam app for almost two years on RN3, to this day, I'm still wondering why xiaomi hasn't implemented a 60 fps video recording option in the official miui stock camera app...
I have seen several thread here on xda but still i didnt get any satisfactory answers.
And yeah camera2api is enabled and working in open camera as i has all manual control that camera2api provides!!

Help choosing a gcam

Hey there guys, i have 9.0 pixel experience ROM on my RN4. Camera2api enabled.
I don't know which version of gcam i am currently using but it gives a lot of force close errors and a green tint on front cam too.
I tried a lot of apps to know whether I've a Samsung or Sony sensor in it, but to no avail.
Would you please be so kind as to point me to the best gcam version suitable for my device right now?
Thank you so much kind stranger.

NO FC's, no green tint, portrait works, HDR works for both front and back and you can choose bitrate for video recording, using it for months and never looked back.
To avoid issues first fully remove old gcams you have installed.
Also i recommend flashing this magisk modules: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1RkHruqNGIKnkgfhX0B7BaeEGYc-airBc
It will let you record in [email protected], fixes distorted sound in video recordings and enables 30fps in viewfinder. (it works for Samsung / Sony, not sure about Omnivision)
To check which sensor you have just run some logcat reader, open gcam and shoot few pics, look for sensor info in log.
What is gcam? Can anyone explain.

Gcam stands for Google Camera. That's camera app from Google and it is originally found on Google (Pixel, etc.) devices. However, when using it on other phones, it can significantly improve photo quality in comparison to what stock camera and other available alternatives on the market can achieve. That's because Google Camera relies heavily on "clever" software and superior photo processing algorithms capable of generating and preserving more data. So even hardware-wise "bad cameras" can benefit from using it. Of course there are some downsides as well, since the app is not designed to be run on other - non Google - devices you need modified version of it in order to use it. That said there are many different modifications of said application with variuos degrees of functionality, bugs and stability. You can check most of them collected here.

Vivo Z1 Pro : working Gcam mod requested for new Vivo Z1 Pro device

Hello Everyone,
I own a Vivo Z1 Pro (6 GB-128 GB) smartphone which is launched in this July 2019 . Since it is the first budget friendly smartphone from Vivo and due to its amazing tripple camera setup(16+5+2 MP), I am curious if there is any working Gcam mod available for this phone or if this phone has drawn attention of any experienced developer so far? :
Despite most of the Gcam apps are crashing , I found one app from a YouTube video , in which basic camera functions (like picture, video and bokeh) are working , but features especially like nightsight etc.. are not working . A lot of people are buying this smartphone and the first thing coming to most people's minds is "Is any working Gcam mod available on it? " . I could not find this device listed on XDA's "devices list" ,hence I request respected developers for support of Gcam for this device . Developers on XDA are amazing and I Hope you'll help me find a better working Gcam for this device .
Thank You
I hope , devs will look and work on it. Kindly share working gcam link.
yeah it would be awesome to have gcam with night sight and portrait mode working.. pls developers make our dream come true
Please provide the link
Please provide me the working gcam link which u got from youtube

GCam 7.4 with video for Nokia 5 and Nokia 6

Hi today I found a GCam port that support video on Nokia devices. I tried on my Nokia 5 and hope this will also work on Nokia 6 .
Here is the link .
tigr: trCamera_Xmas_Release.apk
Download trCamera_Xmas_Release.apk by tigr.
www.celsoazevedo.com
What's working on this mod
Night sight
HRD+ enhance
Portrait
Panorama
Time lapse
Video
What's not working
Slow motion
Much appreciate it, bud. Keep sharing ports like this.
I have been trying different configurations with this but nothing seems good enough. Most of the pictures are noisy. Truth is I'm more of a point & shoot guy and don't really know the ins & outs of cameras, so if anyone can share a good configuration for this it'll be much appreciated.

Nokia 5 isn't a popular device so that's why we see fewer Config files. And I found 0 configs that I can use in this gcam version that workes perfectly with the device. So you have to make your own by changing the setting that you prefer and also works.
you can also check Nokia 6 group.
And if you want to try which works best for Nokia 5 then you can try one of this
1. if you don't care about nighsight then follow this link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...h-working-video-and-13mpx-resolution.3876436/
2. (best option) If you want night sight then here is the gcam and the config file
GCam 6.1:
httpss://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/gcamera/GCam_6.1.021_Arnova_advanced_1.4.031419.0947.apk
Config:
https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/p/f/2020/02/gcam-nokia-5-config.xml
and this GCAM mod doesn't support video.
hope i was able to help you

[SEARCH] Camera app using wide and normal

Hi everyone,
I (ecological reason) bought a Fairphone 4.
It's really not what I expect from a phone so I am looking to update some apps.
The main issue I get is this one on Camera.
Fairphone 4 doesn't allow to record video from the wide angle camera... Yeah... WTF !!!
It seems to be described on the sepcs, but why ??? How a camera can be reduced to not recording video ?
My old LG G6 does it with wide camera.
Whatever, I tried to use other apps as Open Camera, HD Camera and others but I doesn't find a way to switch, even for picture mode, from the main camera to the wide one.
Do you have any idea of which app I may use ?
Thank you
buy that phone yesterday, have the same problem! By any chance, do you find some solution? Also i want to change from defalutOS to calyxos, but again - big issue inside camera.
