Enable Photocrom filter on 8Pro [Root required] - OnePlus 8 Pro Themes, Apps, and Mods

Working with @elmarian756, we found a simple way to add back the Photocron filter on all 8Pro models. First you will need to download the Preferences Manager app from the Play Store. Open it and give root permissions. Use the 3 dot menu in the top right to Show System Apps. Scroll down to camera and swipe left to go to photo.xml. Use the + sign to add two strings. The first is:

InfraredCamera
and then
Code:
Filter.Back
InfraredCamera
When you're finished it should look like this:

Launch the camera and use the bottom right icon to enable filters. Swipe all way to the right and you should see a new Photocron filter. It will give you a message the first time you use it:

That was done with smali-edited APKs and adding the libs from the Cyperpunk LE firmware to get the colors. It will be released in (we think) tomorrow's version of Renovate Ice:

If the filter shows up, then it's working. OP watered it WAAAAAYY down from its original version. You can't see through remotes and stuff anymore. As the filter now says in your pic, it's best outside on a sunny day.

This is not using the Color Filter Camera.
My camera always had this filter enabled somehow.

The mode is always there even if you don't modify anything. But it's a reduced one from oneplus.
The way only to access mode may be only in eng mode
