[Q] S2 Display Issues (Vertical pixelation)

Hey,
Ive searched a few threads and seen the problems with horizontal lines but i was wondering if anyone suffers from issues seen in this article : http://blog.gsmarena.com/samsung-galaxy-s-ii-t989-and-skyrocket-suffering-from-display-issues/ ?
I've had those problems for a while now, more noticable when using the voodoo colour display settings app and the gradient issues when the backlighting is low.
For anyone with similar problems, if you returned your phone did a new one have similar problems or not at all?
Cheers!

[Q] Brightness Settings Problem Cyanogenmod

I am running Pac-rom 4.3, released 20/9/13, on my Samsung Epic, which to the best of my knowledge is basically cyanogenmod plus different goodies from paranoid android and aokp. Everything is working great, but there is one incredible annoying quirk with the brightness settings. Every time I pull down the notification bar, the phone brightness setting changes to a level determined by the position of my finger on my notification bar, the far left causing it to change to lowest brightness and the far right highest. This is not the function defined in the settings, which changes brightness as you slide you finger across the notification bar. That function works fine, and I have it disabled. Auto-brightness is off. I like to keep my brightness low, so its incredibly annoying that I have to reach across the phone to a specific point to keep my brightness setting. I looked for some similar threads but found only threads concerning auto-brightness and the aforementioned setting. Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there a way to get rid of this annoying function?

Dell Venue 8 (3830/T02D) dynamic contrast bug? (Android 4.4)

Hi guys!
I have a strange thing on my Dell Venue 8 (3830/T02D).
While the auto brightness is off, the brightness is still changing, depending on the type of content. For example, if I scroll o long page with white background in browser, and suddenly some dark object or picture will appear in the window, the brightness of the screen will change. It happens constantly when I use my tab with low brightness settings.
In other words the brightness constantly jumps, when something happens on the screen, so it's really very annoying.
For the first time I thought, that it is hardware issue, but later I google the problem and find out some similar questions, where people say, that it is not a hardware, but Android 4.4 problem/bug or Intel compatibility issue (it was written, that many Asus tabs and even Nexus have the same problem and it is called dynamic contrast, that is stupid function exclusively in Android 4.4).
Is it true?
Will the downgrade to 4.3 help to get rid of this random brightness jumps?
Is there any fix/hack to override this problem without flashing/downgrading?

I never noticed this problem but if other devices have it, and no fix was provided would be no fix for this device either.

Question Screen Brightness bug

Hello. I received my Realme GT a couple of days ago. It Is running global 11_A.09 software version. I'm facing a bug with auto brightness off. If i open some system apps screen brightness dims. Do you also have this behaviour? I'm considering to return the phone. Thanks in advance
Luca
Hi, I am currently facing the same problems. I've noticed that the brightness tends to dim when I open apps that have a lot of white pixels. Unfortunately I have no fix yet. Have you contacted realme about this?
I haven't contacted realme because i'm considering to return the phone. I tested different display settings without luck. Checked also for system updates but it is last release. Surprisingly i haven't read about this bug in any review.

Question FIND N2 notification icons don't show up on always on display

I've had the N2 for 3 months now and the only time the notification icons were showing is the first day if I remember correctly. The option is turned on but I still have only Omoji, time, date and battery % showing up. Is anyone else having this weird issue?
I already coped with missing a bunch of notifications from most apps because I guess that's how the dumb Chinese rom works but not having my always on display working properly is quite annoying
AoD just worked for Chinese apps on Oppo find N2 unfortunately
