Hello Claymore,
first of all: Thanks so much for keeping our phone alive and absolutely up to date!
I was so excited to install LOS 18.0 and especially was fully convinced to finally get rid of the very annoying "echo in voice calls"-bug.
I already tested the AICP 16.0 (built 2020-11-15) and it was fixed (as promised ) (as already posted here).
So I just installed very very fresh (wiped everything (cache, data, system, yes even the internal storage)) the lineage-18.0-20201206-UNOFFICIAL-hima.zip .
Here it comes: the echo is still there, not fixed !!!!! Oh no ! Do you have any idea what the difference is between aicp and los regarding voice calls? There must be something.
Changing volume still has no effect even when you put the call on speakers.
Everything else works (as far as I have tested for now) perfectly!
I had so much hope in that....could you please take another look on this echo in voice calls issue and fix it as on aicp.
Again: Thank you so much for your work.

thanks for the headsup - I forget to merge this kernel-commit into new LOS-tree. will be included in next build!!

Hi,
where can I download TWRP 3.4.0-0 with SAR support?

Hello jkrajcir,
you can download from here: twrp-3.4.0-0-hima.img
@Claymore1297 :
short feedback from your most recent build:
- live display not working + you cannot change color temperature right now
- under "styles & wallpapers" if you want to change from one icon shape to another it is not always applied
- LOS updater gives an error message (most likely because there aren't any !?!?)

livedisplay isn't ready I think.
Which error you get on updater? also logs could be useful here...

Echo apart, great job!!!
Got error 64 on installing opengapps_arm11 posted (i believe for wrong 32bit architetture) but the NikGappsCore64 did well (i don't know which differences there are).
I can't find in development options how to enable advanced reboot (for reboot into twrp)

@Claymore1297
Just to let you know:
also in your current LOS 18 (20201206) build there still is the problem with unstable bluetooth connections in cars as already described in the LOS 17.1 thread here.
Now I also experienced very unstable bluetooth connections in a Mercedes (2017) with the "command online"-system.
To be more specific:
bluetooth itself is enabled the hole time but opening calls fails at first attempt and after some time waiting the phone starts a second attempt automatically and the call is established correctly. Also, and that is even worse, when having somebody on the phone, after round about 1 minute the call ends or the call's audio is switched to the phone instead of the car's audio-system.....veeery annoying .
As assumed in my LOS17.1 post (link above) maybe it has something to do with the phone's switching into lockscreen/sleep after some time of touch-inactivity with the phone and I often get this "worked around" by just click on the power butten (to wake it up from sleeping?!)
Does anybody else has any similar experience with bluetooth + phone calls + car's audio-system or am I the only one ?
Thanks for your investigation .

My Bluetooth and calls are fine but I'm unable to make wifi hotspot

do yall know if file-based encryption is supported on this kind of device ? Cause I tried enabling it and now my phone is stuck in a bootloop :/

Edit:
TWRP is okay again.
but i‘ve problems with battery after flashing. At Night the Battery was 47% but today morning the battery was empty.
Any solutions for this issue?

I had a huge battery drain as well. For some reason I had to flash TWRP again 3.4.0. Because I wanted to use Francos Kernal Manager I installed Magisk to root my phone. The problem disappeared. Coincidence or not, I don't know.
Before the device got unusually warm as well during normal usage.

Cannot activate hotspot, the toggle switch off immediately

I recently flashed this build on my m9 and i was very surprised.
How did you manage to get that hardware DSP to work correctly?
No more distortion and proper limiter wow that´s amazing!
I saw you reverted the commit from here, would this work just that simple on 17.1 aswell?

I dirty flashed the latest lineage-14.1-20170104-UNOFFICIAL-m7vzw.zip build over a 20161712 CM 14.1 build. Wifi seems to randomly drop on both builds. Bluetooth now doesn't reconnect to known headset after disconnecting and allowing phone to go into idle state/deep sleep. Only thing that I can do to remedy the problem is to hard reboot the phone (power menu or holding the pwr button to turn phone off then on again). I have VZN M7. Latest Hboot. no custom kernel. Let me know if I can provide you with any additional information to assist you with finding a solution.
Edit: Otherwise, This is a VERY smooth, almost reliable nougat build for this device. I like it better than MM or Lollipop builds.
Edit 01/06/2017: Another work-around I have found for this Bluetooth connectivity issue is by leaving the Bluetooth device connected for more than 1 hr. I turned the BT device off. Let phone go into a deep sleep state, then turned BT device back on. It connected without any issues.
Edit 01/12/2017: on the aforementioned build, when phone enters deep sleep state, BT function ceases. Based on the newest posts, newest build as of 01/12/2016 is supposed to fix the BT, mobile data, and WiFi issues. I'll dirty flash over the aforementioned build and report back. I can't say anything for mobile data since I use my Verizon M7 for media and gaming.

This is great news! :victory:
Been waiting for this for ages.
Just a lil question
You took stock blobs, or you used 3.10 very old blobs ?
Cause you know...
There's 4.9 kernel out there for loire
I used this very briefly (30 minutes ) so im sorry for the little info and lack of log cat. Here was my experience :
.Bt would continuously turn on and off.
.UI was smooth. Apps opened smoothly.
.The camera seemed tobwork very well
Everything else is unknown. Again i apologize for the lack of information but the rom looks promising and will be following closely and test more thoroughly when i have more time. Thanks to the dev for their hard work. Was a clean flash F5121 firmware 34.4.A.2.107. Currently running sailfish X 3.0.0.5.
Installation was easy and without problems, USB OTG was ok, but headset and hands-free calls didn´t work.
Looks very promising.

Hello @Chippa_a very good job for this perfect alpha !!! Thank you so much
Awesome work man
I've been testing the ROM in the last hours, and I could say that this is the best ROM for the moment
Even the video recording it's working, the only "bad thing" is that I couldn't change the appearance through Substratum, it's seem to be applied but it doesn't change anything, however I don't care about the visual
nfc doesn't work, high battery usage, the rest is ok.
Low audio for me. F5122.
Any ideas for this problem guys?
awesome rom, but i found some bug
low audio,
bluetooth unstable,
auto reboot sometime (happened when open bluetooth constanty for my xiaomi mi band 3)
sometimes (repetition after 1-2 days use normally) the signal lost both sim, and it take 10-15 minute to return normal,
Messenger has stopped (not happen with Messenger lite)
and i can't flash the stock rom for my xperia x f5122 since i flash this rom, my flashtool has error "The bundle does not match the connected device"

i use Emma (flashtool of sony) to turn back stock rom, and after that i do not see any flashtool error again, but it has a problem : all stock rom since then are encountered error signal loss, and there is not any version stock rom that has signal in both sims, even if it initially signals, it will soon lose permanently after that. I think it like a error simlock.ta, and after that i don't have any choice but flash this custom rom again, although i need continuous bluetooth to use my mi band 3, so i can't use mi band 3 with this rom. And i just exchange this phone with xiaomi mi 5s this afternoon, and yeah, sorry about that but this is my last valuable exchange on this rom.

So far so good. Bluetooth is a lot better still choppy sometimes. Had an issue with the camera where it was taking negative photos without me touching the settings. And any other camera app I used it was just a green picture. Everything else seems good though.

Hi,
Is it possible to port this ROM also to the Sony Xperia X Compact (F5321/kugo) (as it shares similar hardware to Xperia X)?
I have installed this rom to replace the stock one (8.0.0) provided by Sony, then I wanted to try other custom ROMs and I decided to test OmniROM, that required me to flash the ODM using this one: developer.sony.com/file/download/software-binaries-for-aosp-oreo-android-8-1-kernel-4-4-loire
I didn't have a good experience with OmniROM and I decided to get back to Lineage, but now, whenever I flash it, I get into a loop during mobile configuration phase. May this be due to the ODM image I flashed? Can I revert to the previous one?

Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

Tester Tried On v12.0.3 And Not Working
Hi , nice one sir , i managed to install it at the end i had to downgrade to 12.0.0 how is saying here Lostark13
the rom works super smooth love the RR features , brings back the memories , love to see it again
Only one problem i just found and is super important for me , is the Bluetooth . is not working , is greyed out
i saw the wifi not working and i flashed 12.0.2 and now is working , what should i do for Bluetooth to work ? or is broken from the rom ?
a to don;t forget , i miss the xpoco equaliser or how they call it Dolby sound profile . on Voice profile my phone was super loud ,
Can You Provide Me ADB Logs For Bluetooth?
It Will Help Me To Solve Bug ASAP
Beautiful! I was running RR on the OP7T, just sold that off and got the X3, great to see the rom is here as well so I won't miss my 7T so much

Greetings OP.
Firstly, I wanna give huge thanks for this ROM. It is by far my favorite out of all the others I've tried. Google Pay and other apps that rely on SafetyNet worked out of the box. That is a wonderful thing especially considering how stranded I was yesterday when I couldn't buy food or petrol or pay for my car's service.
However, I have an issue with Bluetooth. I have tried your suggestion to downgrade to v12.0.2 before flashing. I have done this several times now but the issue persists.
Something else I noticed with AOSP-based ROMs is that the WiFi signal strength is never at maximum even when I am standing a few meters away from my router. And sometimes, WiFi would randomly disconnect when I am about 5 meters away from the router with 2 walls between us. Not a dealbreaker by any means, just a mild annoyance.
Thank you abundantly again for your work. I'll be sending some 'beers' your way.

Brick after installation of RR
Hi guys,
I installed this ROM yesterday. Now my Poco X3 is bricked. Any help appreciated.
What I have done (I came from MIUI with the latest updates).
Unlocked bootloader
Installed TWRP from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xi...lopment/recovery-twrp-xiaomi-poco-x3-t4167199
Booted into TWRP and did a full wipe included data (don't know exactly, but system wasn't choosable)
Pushed the Rom-zip from this thread to /sdcard/ and installed it via TWRP
After successfull installation: reboot system
But the system didn't boot. There was only the screen with "POCO" in the middle and "powered by android" on the button for ca. 1s. Then the mobile shut off.
Same for fastboot and recovery. When I hold down or hold up the volume-button while powering on, there is also the described screen for 1s, before the mobile shuts off.
Once again: Any help or tip much appreciated!

Thanks for the hint, but point 2. is not possible. As I wrote above there is only for 1s the screen with "POCO" in the middle, after turning the phone on (no matter, if I hold up or hold down volume during powering on). Then the mobile switches off. So I can't boot into fastboot to boot twrp.
I don't know which MIUI-Version was on the phone, before I installed RR. The latest OTA-updates yesterday were installed.
Any other hints?

I think the problem here is that you likely flashed from 12.0.3 firmware back to the older 12.0.2 firmware which caused the brick.
Honestly, this is probably obvious for 90% of members, but developers really need to state which firmware their ROMs are build from and include these risks as a step in the instructions.

my god I can't believe that today 02/17/2022 my harpia is running android 12 (S) I swear to God that today I was looking at the forum and I found this I was speechless just today I had done a review of Lineage OS (11) sincerely, you deserve a lot of recognition for continuing to do this and continue to maintain a cell phone that is years old, it is my daily phone now that I found out about this, I did not sit idly by and flash it, I congratulate you, it is a rom very stable and fast, I want to comment on something and it is that with android 11 it took me 2 minutes to start the launcher, here it only takes me 17-18 seconds to start the system I can tell you that this system can become the most stable and quickly for this mobile I will continue waiting for more updates of this version of android and thank you very much for allowing me to continue using my cell phone I have had the opportunity to obtain high-end cell phones but I love my harpia and as a friend told me If something works well for you, don't change it for anything. thankful to all the maintainers who work hard to get updates out.
I want to say that I have only had a small mistake and it is that when I lower the notification bar the cell phone becomes very slow and it takes a few seconds to lower it, I hope they correct the rest, it is perfectly fine, thank you very much! for everything soon a review for this rom so that more people see and appreciate your work.
Booting and installing the image works like a charm and pretty easy.
I tried different GApps but none of them did install. They fail with
Code:
“! Unable to find installation layout. Aboriting...” ?
as shown

w/a does not work. I tried arm (not arm64).
Tested one arm64 NikGApps, this one did install but as expected did not show up.
Can anyone recommend gapps for arm and LOS 19.0?
Thanks

is monet already working in this version?
I just installed this ROM twice on my harpy, first impression I found quite fluid even for this model. Then when lowering the notification bar the system would slow down too slow and bug, then give interface error dai or the screen would go dark and erase, after that it gave bootloop. Despite this it seems to be a good ROM hopefully improve this so I can use. Monet's not working.

Hello dear @althafvly. First of all, thank you very much for this awesome ROM based on Android 12L (LineageOS 19.1).
It's very stable, fast and battery-friendly. Please dear friend, continue improving this ROM. I really hope the Encryption, SELinux enforcing and UI Lag can be fixed.
One week ago, I had AICP ROM (Android 11) ( @jeferson1979 ), and It is a very stable ROM, but it has two big problems: It's kinda slow and everytime I try to install an weekly update, the whole system is damaged. I really don't know why this happen. I only boot to Recovery and flash the updated ROM, after that I cannot boot.
Tired of that, I tried this Android 12 ROM and wow it's amazing.
Please althafvly, can you add the Security Features that Disable the Quick Settings (Notification Bar) and Disable the Power Menu from Lockscreen???
Thanks again both developers.
Wait....
Testing on my XT1607. I'm getting "System UI isn't responding" once the pulldown menu finally loads (very laggy). One idea is this could be happening whenever the camera & flashlight options aren't working? When the camera and flashlight started working after a few reboots, the pulldown menu stopped being laggy.
The ability to connect to a Wi-Fi hidden SSID has now become fully broken in harpia with 19.1. For some reason, the initial setup wizard *can* connect to a hidden SSID, but, after that, if you ever disconnect from it, you can't connect to it ever again, nor can you ever add it fresh and connect to it. This is further deterioration of the following bug: https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/2678
Btw, I was able to get data and SMS to work, but not calling, for whatever reason.

I have installed from lineageos 9 to this Version without GAPPs...
Now I wanted to install the gapps, but I no longer have twrp on it. Where can I find a suitable twrp version? as APK, because I don't have a picture on my smartphone with adb reboot bootloader.
What can I do?
Edit: Error: This GApps pkg is for Android 12.0.x ONLY Please download the correct version for your ROM: 12 (SDK32)
Edit1: I have now Installed 17.1... you can ignore this Post or Delete...
Thanks @Chippa_a for your effort. I've installed and it is really a snappy and responsive release: wifi, lte, voice calls and fingerprint are working fine.
I've tried to enable device encryption, procedure completed but then got stuck in reboot loop.
At startup:
- black screen with text that device cannot be trusted because unlocked
- white screen with sony logo
- lineage OS loading screen
- <repeat>
I've installed TWRP 3.6.1_9.0: Are anyhow meaningful the logs from there?
They're attacched, just in case. If there's any other procedure I can do to obtain more meaningful data, please link it to me and I'll try to do it, prior wiping system and reinstall.
thanks for this beautiful ROM
The rom is great but has anyone experienced a bug? Everytime I play a recorded video my speakers make a high pitched noise, a noise that sounds like a radio is out of tune. That noise totally roasted my speakers, had to swap them. Not sure why that happend, other than that the roms is really amazing. Is there any possibilitiy for the gapps to cause this? I was using Mind The Gapps.

This is a known issue, but it has been fixed and will be included in the upcoming build.
bluetooth audio works fine, tested with my aptx headphone。But front camera can not take photos with accurate color.
As far as I have tested, the rom is working pretty well so far, however I'm getting a pretty strong screen retention effect for some reason. Calibrating all colors to 80% in LiveDisplay settings fixes it, but makes the phone feel stuttery as hell. This also happens when enabling Night Light, regardless if LiveDisplay settings were modified or not.
I attached some logs. Hope they're of help to you.

You can also update using the built-in Updater (requires at least TWRP 3.6.x or LineageOS Recovery)

Please read these notes carefully and do not report any issues with older TWRP.
Also it is not recommended to reboot from recovery (to recovery) if you have wiped the system partition (OS is not installed), or you will get stuck with TWRP splash screen as well. This issue will be investigated and probably fixed.
Thanks!
Good colleagues, could someone tell me about their experience with this rom, what works and what doesn't.
I'm about to install it but I want to be sure if it's worth it compared to the stock rom, as well as if the quality of the camera drops a lot.
thanks :3
I love this rom, i use it since two weeks and I don't have had any issues with it! Camera quality is still very good, as expected for a custom rom.
So, I can highly recommend it, it's the best thing you can do for your Xperia X!
Pay your device it's last respects and install this rom

Aren't you having any issues with LiveDisplay and/or night light? What about screen retention (fake burn in)? I'm loving the rom and the Material You design, but those 2 problems are ruining my experience.
Btw, battery life is quite good in this rom.
Absolutely no screen retention!
I don't use LiveDisplay or night light, so no problems on my device
Is there any way to get video stabilization on this ROM? Also magisk doesn't show the modules that are available for download through the magisk app, modules fails to flash even if I download it from the magisk site and try to flash it. Is there any way to flash the modules? I wanted to flash the Pix3lify magisk module. Any help would be great
Edit: I found out why magisk doesn't show the modules so that's not an issue, but installing the module is, maybe I'm doing something wrong?
