Its my device its not working or its because the rom is buggy?

The last eu ROMs for umi are very buggy. You could try to install 12.0.8. that one is working quite good. Or maybe better to wait for a reliable Rom.

I tried the 12.0.8 And it gets stuck on the miui colored letters that comes after 5g

Did you follow the correct steps? For instance format data instead of clear data?
And beware, first start can take minutes.

First of all turn it off, hold volume up + power untill you feel (1+) 3 vibrations, and charge.
What firmware version you had before?

I charged. I was previously using Honami MW HD™ V8 .. with nemesis 6.3.. I don't know why this happened. I have flashed several different ROMs earlier but no problem like this whatsoever occurred.
Oh and also, when i first flashed the ROM last night, I was using an older version of Flashtool. But then later i downloaded the latest version and flashed with it too but the result was still the same.

I would think it's the fact you did not clear data so you can try just that (exclude everything and just leave all clear options checked) or do full flash.

There 2 choices:
Have the data and not be able to use the phone.
Or, lose the data and be able to use your phone.
Up to you which you choose.
It's not like you didn't know it is advised to back up your data before flashing ROM

Try to flash the kernel you had, and perhaps the ROM too without wiping data, it's a long shot but nothing to lpse other than your time.
BTW what data are you worried about, some may be backed up on your google account.

I did flash Nemesis 6.3 but still the phone won't start. And I can't reach CWM even after flashing it but CWM is supposed to be installed along with the kernel. Why can't I go to CWM?
I'm worried about the pictures. I won't be able to recover them cuz I never really synced with google

Download this file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzZGP6ljwL-XR1FnbG03dVVmOGM/view?usp=sharing
Then boot into fastboot mode and send the following commands
Code:
fastboot erase persist
fastboot flash persist persist.img
fastboot reboot
This is due to a password/fingerprint being active and is a security measure but the above steps will clear them.

Awesome. These are full ROM's right? Incremental updates would be even better. Thanks for this.
Also, have you tried running Xposed on this, if so which version did you use.
Awesome to see Hydrogen OS getting some love.
I can't download via Google drive. Could you possibly upload via AFH?

Yes these are full ROMs but unfortunately I do not plan to make incremental OTAs only full updates. This is for a few reasons but mainly that it's harder to maintain.
Xposed I have not personal had the chance to try yet but others have reported that it works fine

Has to be something strange to do with your environment or bad download. Did you do a full wipe (/system /data and /cache) prior to installing?

Yes a full wipe with TWRP. I downloaded it a few times. Also the files from the old post but it was the same. @seangeezy12 Yes it boots with the Android is starting loop
Dirty flashed the last version over a full blown H2os . boot just fine. One thing that took forever and with several reboots was updating google services. Other than that I like it a lot.

Thank you kind sir. Will give my review after a day or 2 of running. I'm sure it's a dope ROM though

Phone reboots and is stuck in a bootloop afterwards no matter what rom/kernel.

I'm left clueless here. I just can't get it to boot, no matter what ROM/Kernel i'd flash. It was originally running OOS 2.3.1 but flashing it now won't work anymore. It worked briefly for 1 hour with that AOSP 8.1 but then after trying to flash gapps it stuck again in a bootloop. Sometimes it also freezes and reboots while i am flashing sometimes. I really have no idea what should i do next, hope you can help me.
You need to give more information on which TWRP you have.
Did you upgrade the bootloader at one point ?
OOS 2 is the old one.
You should have upgraded to MM bootloader and the use a TWRP compatible.
If not, you'll have to follow the Mega Unbrick Guide...

I updated the bootloader like over a year ago or so. I also tried 2 different versions of TWRP, now i am using the latest one.
ALSO, very sorry it actually is OOS 3.1.4, not 2.3.1, i just typed briefly what i could remember, i haven't been using this phone for months now but i would like to give it to a relative so there's that. Hope you can help me out, i have no clue why is it acting up like that.
Have you ever think that could be the emmc problem that need to get replaced?

I don't really understand what you are trying to say. I did wipe everything and the only way to flash anything is through adb sideload anyway since the device is not recognized as storage while in TWRP. I think I am gonna give up on it, I was gonna sell it but I can't risk having it act up days/weeks after i sold it.

Back to Stock Global (from LOS 16 with TWRP) / lock bootloader ?

Hello...
Is it just that simple.- flash the latest official global firmware in twrp, clear cache/dalvik and reboot,- and then i am completely back on stock ?
And after it, i can lock bootloader with the miflash-unlock-tool, if i would ?
(or how to do that?)
Would anyone post a simple step by step guide here ?
Thanks in advance !!!
*push*
Anyone can confirm or correct ?
Take miflash and flash Fastboot Rom with the "delete and lock" Option.

And there is nothing to take care about, like told in this xda-story ? :
https://www.xda-developers.com/flash-miui-global-locked-bootloader-xiaomi-brick/
Just start the mi-flash-tool and select the Fastboot-Rom, for example "...Global-9.6.25.0.OEJMIFD-3433a60ef4-8.1...", and start ?
Equal, if the device is rooted with magisk and flashed with unofficial lineageOS ?
BTW.
Where to get/download the newest/correct Mi-Flash-Tool ?
How was your experience with custom ROMs? Any serious bugs??

Fastboot will restore your phone back to factory settings and I guess that's what you want. You can't restore to factory settings in TWRP as it requires unlocked bootloader. Just download the ROM and flash via fastboot

Ok, so if i had downloaded the fastboot-rom 9.6.25.0,- could i flash it with the mi-flash-tool from here too, to do that all (lock bootloader and completely go back to stock):

It's quite simple. I did it myself a few days ago. The tool does everything itself. But you should still read the thread if you are new to MIUI like me. But keep in mind the phone will format including the internal storage. I suggest you backup everything.

Problems with notifications on every AOSP rom.

Tried almost all pie roms. Wifi disconnects after a while i lock the phone. Or it won't use data even if it seems to be connected to wifi. Changing fw, kernel, recovery didn't work. Neither did flashing fastboot rom. What should i do? (i thought notification was the problem ,but no, i figured it was wifi)
Kaanarchy said:
I don't get notifications after 10-15 mins after i closed that application. (For example i'm starting whatsapp then i'm closing it again. After some minutes i won't get any notifications and whatsapp will not use data if i don't open it manaully.) And sometimes notifications will come, but so late. Every settings is ok. Tried havoc, aosp extended, crdroid, superior it is still same. Changed kernel, updated firmware, it is still the same. What can i do? I feel like my phone is forcing me to use miui roms
