Sampling rate in Android 10 for Amazon Music HD - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, &

I know Android 9 has its limitations.
Android 9 Compatibility Definition | Android Open Source Project
source.android.com
I was wondering: if I install a ROM which is based on Android 10, will I be able to have an Android DAC that can play files with higher sampling rate?
I'm talking about Amazon Music HD for example and not about other apps that can really use the hardware of the smartphone... (which supports very high sampling rate if I'm not wrong).
In case you don't know, Amazon Music doesn't support external DAC on Android, only with iOS it does.
Thanks
p.s. which ROM do you suggest?

Difference between Unofficial Android TV and Android OS

The key here is unofficial Android TV. There are a lot of Android TV boxes that don't have official Android TV on them. They can't play Netflix in 4K or other premium services. I'm asking about the unofficial NOT the official. Most of the time when i ask this question people give me answers comparing Android OS with ATV official. That is not what i'm asking because most boxes are not official ATV.
What i understand is that ATV official use a more limited Play Store than Android OS. So DOES the UNOFFICIAL ATV use a limited Play Store? I've been stuck trying to decide whether to get a Yundoo Y8, H96 Pro both of which run unofficial Android TV, from what i understand and Android OS boxes such as Minix U9.
I like the flexibility of Android OS but i like the hardware on Yundoo and H96.
I'm not particularly interested in gaming but it would be nice to have for guests who visit. I am interested in 4K movies. So my use would likely be or TV / Android computer than gaming. Thus i would prefer having more Play Store support which i understand ATV is more limited. I'm not sure about unofficial ATV, though.
Thanks!

VU Iconium 55" 4k Smart TV Hacking, Rooting, OS Change

Hello Friends,
Regards to all reputated members of this forum. I am considerably a noob to this forums so please bear with me and my mistakes or typos. This is my first post on this forum.
I've purchased VU Iconium 4K LED TV last year in Feburary 2016. It has a pathetic VU Smart OS installed. I can't install anything on it from google play store as it allows only opera store to install apps. The stock browser is opera and really getting on to my nerves. Can't even access google play store.
Can't find out how much RAM and ROM or what other hardware specs are there in TV as it is not disclosed by the manufacturers. This company never reveals their hardware specs.
Stone age OS installed on the TV.
TV has limited inbuilt Apps and Opera App Store has limited apps too.
Can't install web browsing apps like Mozilla or Chrome.
Can't install MX Player or other apps on TV. Inbuilt Movie player is horrible and of stone age era.
Can't use keyboard and mouse with anything.
No keyboard typing support is there.
Can only use the remote provided with the TV.
No firmware updates from the company so far.
TV quality is marvelous but the OS is a big disappointment.
My question to experts is, how can I install Apk's on my TV?
Any possibility to "ROOT" it? How can I root a LED TV? I haven't found any tutorials online. Neither on YouTube nor on Google Search.
Possibility to install Another OS on my LED TV? May be a full fledged Android OS, if yes, How can I do it?
Is there any expert and dedicated group that Hacks/Roots SMART 4K TV interfaces? If so, can someone please direct me to that forum or website? I've searched the forums and I've only encountered Hacking and rooting TV dongles/boxes but nothing on SMART TVs interfaces.
I hope you guys could help me out. I really detest this OS from VU and would like to be able to utilize the full potential of my 4k TV. Any help on this is really really appreciated.

Hello Friend. Thanks for your response. But I don't know anything about jiajia games app. Would like to know more about it. But presently I'm focusing on how to update my TV firmware. I'm more interested in flashing or changing the OS of my TV. I have figured out one thing that the company VU Luxuary Televisions in India is selling HISENSE TV models with their branding on them. I have confirmed that LTDN55XT780XWAU3D 4K ULED TV this is a HISENSE model which they don't sell and support in USA. I was actually looking for latest firmware update from HISENSE for this model. But the chat executive told me that this model is no longer supported in USA. Is there any way I can get a HISENSE latest firmware update for this model?
Any update on this?.
I also bought this TV and now I am stuck with it.
The company thinks having YouTube means it's a smart tv
which model

SO I FOUND A THREAD ON QOURA AND THE PERSON BELONGED TO THE FIELD OF INSTALLING AND REPAIRING TV SAID THAT THE COMPANY VU DOES NOT
GIVE FIRMWARE ON ANY SITE AND YOU MUST CONTACT THEM AND THEN THEY WILL SEND YOU THE UPDATE VIA EMAIL.

Hi Babajitheone,
Any reply from VU Team. Did you upgraded your TV. I Have VU 43BU113.
Hi everyone,I have the same VU iconium 4k Android tv model(43BU113).I am having the same issue it's totally waste of money .One thing that I can suggest you that you should buy a "Amazon fire TV stick 4k".It will be a better option as you will connect with the fire TV stick with your HDMI port with your VU tv and make your TV the Real time 4k tv and having unlimited apps in the fire tv .It will be worth if you'll buy it!

Himedia Q10 Pro review - 4K UHD Blu-ray navigation with Android 7 OS

Hi
I want to introduce to you the Himedia Q10 Pro, although it is not the latest model. However, recently has come big update for this Android media player in the shape of Android 7.0 OS. Or in other words now it comes with OS Android 7.0, and because of that it comes with new functions like support for 4K UHD Blu-ray navigation.
So from now on you can normally watch any 4K movie, but besides that it supports H.265, DTS-HD, HDMI 2.0a, Dolby Audio, and many other cool options.
As well as being a great thing, it supports SATA 3.5“ hard drive up to 6TB, or in other words you can save many 4K movies on hard drive. This is another great option because we all know how much space it can take one 4K movie. For example it can take normally 15GB or more up to 60GB approximately.
Additionally the Himedia Q10 Pro is completly made from metal. Also if you worry about overheating, then dont because it has a built-in fan which is silent and maintains normal working temperature.
Here are some video samples:

Auto dynamic Frame Rate matching/switching AMLOGIC?

Xiaomi tv's and tv boxes don't support auto frame-rate switching, so you will only be able to use [email protected] The same for the generic Amlogic tv box you mention. Amlogic's Android Oreo SDK doesn't support auto frame-rate switching in Kodi even if the hardware is more than capable of doing it, they didn't implement Android's Display API correctly. Kodi 18 also dropped support for Amlogic's propriety AMLCodec and moved to MediaCodec that is supposed to be supported on every Android device now.
You only solution is to use an old Kodi 17 or SPMC based on Kodi 16 if you want to use auto frame-rate switching.

PLEASE ANY DEV:
Is there anyone out there who could build a custom rom for s905x2 (preferably X96Max 4/64 gb) with the correct implementation of Android´s Display API so that Auto Frame Rate Switching works properly? I can gladly contribute to such a developer.
Thanks a million beforehand!

Question LE Audio (LC3 Codec) Support w/ Pixel 6 Tensor Chipset?

My Bluetooth earbuds support the modern LC3 Codec (LE Audio). I know Android 12 supports LE Audio. However, LE Audio also requires phone chipset support....E.G. MediaTek MT6891Z handsets support it. Has Google included it in this latest Tensor chipset?
Its nothing to do with "tensor". It has to do with the wifi/bt chip which I think is a BCM4389, which, I believe, is a bluetooth 5.2 chip. 5.2 means LE audio.
Also the google specs say 5.2: https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/7158570
So which Pixels support the LC3 codec?

I came to discover that Android 12 omitted the LE audio function of BT 5.2. Rather LE Audio is only coming with upcoming Android 13. I hope it will finally get enabled on Pixel 6 handsets come Android 13.
This is such a confusing spec. This (https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/9393002?hl=en) doesn't help at all, since it seems like all these pixels support it already. Yet they don't...
using the codec info app from fdroid. "LC3" is not listed in the audio section or any other for my pixel 6.
just another thing google skimped out on with this "flagship"
Android 12 Compatibility Definition | Android Open Source Project
source.android.com
this page what MUST be included in the hardware for android 12
( i think that is how it reads)
section 222
Handheld device implementations MUST support the following audio encoding and decoding formats and make them available to third-party applications:
[5.1/H-0-1] AMR-NB
[5.1/H-0-2] AMR-WB
[5.1/H-0-3] MPEG-4 AAC Profile (AAC LC)
[5.1/H-0-4] MPEG-4 HE AAC Profile (AAC+)
[5.1/H-0-5] AAC ELD (enhanced low delay AAC)
so lc3 is not required at minimum.( not that the minimum is what should be followed IMHO)
rumors say that lc3 will be in android 13 but it might also be in android 12 custom roms depending on the developer.
so you could try android 13 beta
Interesting. I'm on the beta, but I don't have any bt devices to test it out with unfortunately. (I have bt devices, but none that use the lc3 codec, to my knowledge.)
